M & L for providing LT UG XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, heavy duty electric power cables of following sizes, with multistranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, confirming to IS 7098 Part-1 1988, including centre glands, lugs, jointing materials etc, laid in trenches and connecting with LT panel / MCCB / busbar box etc alongwith LT cable route indicator for every 100 RM length of cable, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation, PCC, covers and cushions shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule

S & F 2.5 sqmm 3 core copper cable (for phase, neutral & earthing) run through and including 20 mm dia PVC conduit properly clamped to pole from DB to fitting through bracket complete all as specified and directed. Note: 01 run of 3 core copper cable and 01 run of PVC conduit shall be measured as unit length

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft disintegrated rock for laying and taking down UG cable complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing cement concrete 1:3:6, type C2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick using excavated soft disintegrated rock complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying fine dry river sand to entire width of trench as cable cushion in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover for cable protection, class LV, type I, flat, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm, ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay GI tubing of following sizes, light grade, ISI marked, galvanised, laid in trenches for cable protection including fittings such as bends, elbows, reducers etc including taking down existing GI pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old cement coated surfaces of RCC LT pole above ground level including coping and applying two coats of cement based paint over a coat of cement primer including writing pole numbers/ letters in 12 cm height, with white paint on black background and applying blue tinted paint on bottom of pole as per existing, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F straight through jointing kit suitable for cables of following sizes complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs TPN 4-pole busbar box, outdoor type, made out of 3.15 mm thick MS sheet of suitable size with 4 Nos aluminum bus bars of 200 Amp capacity for connecting heavy duty cables upto 3.5 core 150 sqmm as incoming and two outgoing cables along with 125 amps MCCB including lugs, glands, nuts, bolts & washers of suitable sizes, proper insulation, fixing 50 cm above ground level on pole / angle iron frame of suitable size, necessary excavation and PCC work complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs danger notice plate 20 x 15 cm size, made of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white; with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in single red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of suitable size, for LT pole/ equipments/ lines complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for earthing complete with steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground, vertically (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to GI earth strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers etc including 15mm dia protection pipe upto 7.5m length, connecting the earth lead to earth connection in the main distribution box with lugs and GI nuts, bolts etc as shown on electrical plate No 3 of SSR part 1 including neccessary excavation in disintergrated hard rock, filling earth upto 15 mm thick and providing earth pit, 20mm dia GI funnel, PCC earth chamber, 100mm thick precast RCC cover with suitable precast RCC frame and earth test point and testing including taking out old earthing complete all as specified and directed. Note:- On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, earthing shall be redone at no extra cost.
