CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR SOIL INVESTIGATION AND TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEY FOR PROVN OF CERTAIN TECHNICAL BUILDINGS AT AFS DIGARU

Soil Investigation for Provn of Igloo and NX shed with allied works at AFS Digaru inclduing mobilization of equipment and man power to project site (remote locaitons) for the Thirty Four (34) Nos of boreholes and submission of Soil Investigation Report in 04 Hard copies & in CD :- (a) Boring through sand/clay/silt strata from ground level to 10.00 mtrs. (b) Carrying out standard penetration test in bore holes as per IS : 2131. (c) Collection of disturbed samples at every 0.5 mtr or change of strata including packing and handling all complete. (d) Collection of undisturbed soil samples at 1.0 mtr or change of strata including packing and handling all complete as pe IS : 2132-1985. (e) Carrying out laboratory test for the following :- (i) Grain size Analysis (ii) Specify gravity (iii) Bulk and dry density (iv) Natural moisture content (v) Liquid, plastic limit and swelling Index (vi) Shear strength parameters (vii) Chemical test for solubale chlorides and sulphate content (viii) Consolidation test parameters (ix) Seive analysis and grain size distribution by seive analysis and hydrometer test (x) Atterberg limits (xi) Particular size analysis test (xii) Free swell index and swelling properties os soil. (xiii) Organic matter in if any (xiv) Triaxial compressive test (xv) Harmful salt (complete investigation as already ref) (xvi) Chemical test for solubale chlorides and sulphate content (f) The report to include clearly the following parameters :- (i)Layout out of trial pits and bore holes on propossed site plan (ii) Recording of boring as per Appx D of IS 1892 (iii) Soil/rock properties as per detailed exploration (table 3 of IS 1892) (iv)Soil properties (v) Estimation of safe bearing pressure based on safe bearing capacity as per shear criteria and settlement criteria for rectangular foundations of width of 1.5/2.0/2.5 m in general. Note :- The report shall include detailed calculations for SBC. In case of low bearing capacity below 12 Ton/sqm recommendation to include bearing capacity calculation SBC & settlement calculation for that foundation also. (vi) Recommendation of SBC and type of foundation (vii) Recommendation of pile with pile capacity in case weaker strata is encountered (viii) Other relevant recommendations for foundation and improvement of soil if SBC encountered at depth of 2 mtr or more below modified ground level (as directed by Engineer in charge) is less than 12 Ton/sqm (ix) Recommendation of existing soil for backfill purpose (g) Groung water table & HFL test as under to be mentioned in the soil report :- (i) Maximun and minimum levels of groung water in the area with sourse of information. (ii) Ground water table observed during the investigations (h) A detailed site plan showing the location of each bore duly numbered corresponding to the all type of structure should be enclosed with soil investigation reports. (j) All pages of the soil investigation reports shall be specially numbered, stamped and signed by the agency carrying out the soil investigation. Report should be scrutinized by GE&CWE for correctness and endorsed. (k) Liquefaction analysis to be enclosed with the soil investigation report (l) Photographic record of geo-exploration as well as testing shall also be attached as part of the report (m) Location of foundation of adjacent structure especially those that might be impacted by the proposed construction be indicated with details in site plan.

Conducting CBR test to evaluate K-value test and Protect P/Te Density at 08 location for Provn of Igloo and NX shed with allied works at AFS Digaru all as specified below and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge :- (a) Boring depth upto 3 meter below undergroung level as directed by engineer in charge. (b) Carrying out K value test as per IS-9214-1979. (c) Carrying out laboratory test for the following :- (i) Grain size Analysis (ii) Specify gravity (iii) Bulk and dry density (iv) Natural moisture content (v) Liquid, plastic limit and swelling Index (vi) Shear strength parameters (vii) Chemical test for solubale chlorides and sulphate content (viii) Consolidation test parameters (ix) Seive analysis and grain size distribution by seive analysis and hydrometer test (x) Atterberg limits (xi) Particular size analysis test (xii) Free swell index and swelling properties os soil (xiii)Organic matter in if any (xiv)Triaxial compressive test (xv))Harmful salt (complete investigation as already ref) (xvi))Chemical test for solubale chlorides and sulphate content (f) The report to include clearly the following parameters :- (i) Layout out of testing location proposed site plan (ii) Recording of boring as per Appx D of IS 1892 (iii) Soil/rock properties as per detailed exploration (table 3 of IS 1892) (iv) Soil properties (v) Estimation of K-value (vi) Expected type and nos of vehicles with load classification in consultation with engineer-in-charge. (vii) Recommendation on improvement at subgrade if required (viii) Recommendation of existing soil for backfill purpose

Topographical contour survey of land using total station/DGPS System and collection of field data at an intervel of 3 x 3 m grid with all existing structure, trees, road, electric pole, drain etc with reference to bench and and submission of initial level in CAD formet also in hard copy as per instruction of engineer in charge. Report preparation & submission with the following :- All topography features (a) CAD Drawing (b) Grid (c) Contours (d) DTM/DSM (e) Point/Cloud (f) Orth mosaic map (ultra HD) (g) Photograph of the Entire Site (h) 3D Model (j) Google Earth Map(KML) (k) Volumetric calculation Note- Jungle clearance to be completed before execution of the survey works
