Earthwork in excavation by mechanical/manual means in all types of strata comprising any of the materials such as soil, silt,sand, clay , gravel, moorum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerates, laterite rock, soft rock, ordinary rock, disintegrated or weathered rock, fissured/shattered, decomposed rock and all such other materials either in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any approved method or as may be convinient or permitted, inclusive of chiselling, wedging etc. but blasting prohibited in all conditions such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged, foul conditionsetc. including pumping or bailing out water/dewatering including setting out consstruction of, shoring and strutting and bracing,removal of stump and other deleterious matter,dressing of sides and bottom, providing barricading, danger lighting, guarding etc. backfilling the excavated earth to the extent required and disposing of surplus excavated soil/rock at specified areas with all leads and lifts etc. as per specification and drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge etc. all complete.

Supplying jamba wooden bally piles 150 mm mean diameter cut to length required (not exceeding 9 meters) and planted in position ready for driving: (a) Upto 2.50 metre long pile.

Driving down wooden piles of 150mm diameter either in vertical or battered work to approved lines and level through various strata including arranging all the appliances necessary for pile driving complete at site (portion in ground only to be measured) (a) Upto 2.50 metre long pile.

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Centering and shuttering including struttings, propping etc. and removal of formwork for (a) Foundation, footings, bases for columns and mass concrete.

Providing & laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in: (a) All works upto plinth level.

Providing & laying cement concrete 1: 1.5: 3 (1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand: 3 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in:A)All works upto plinth level

Providing and laying plum concrete in cement concrete 1:2: 4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) with plums not exceeding 15% of the volumne of the finished concrete of size ranging from 150 to 300 mm (but the maximum dimension not exceeding 1/3rd (one third) the least dimension of member under consideration excluding the cost of centering and shuttering:a)With granitic or basaltic stone plums in :1)foundation and plinth

Earthwork in Embankment with approved earth (Contractor earth)/moorum including spreading the earth in layers not exceeding 250mm. in depth, breaking clods, rolling each layer with half ton roller or wooden or steel hammer including filling up ground depression, dressing etc. complete with all lead and lift and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

18mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12mm thick cement plaster 1:5 ( 1 cement : 5 coarse sand) and top layer 6mm thick with cement plaster 1: 3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished with sponge.

Providing woodwork in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows trusses & other frames wrought framed and fixed in positon.b)second class mattiwood

Painting 2 coats with oil type wood preservative of approved brand & manufacture on new work.
