PROVISION OF CHAIN LINK FENCING AT VARIOUS PLACES AT AIR FORCE STATION KALAIKUNDA UNDER GE (AF) KALAIKUNDA

Surface dressing in soft /loose soil not exceeding 15cm and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) in hard/dense soil each n.exc 0.50 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 m and making good surface all as specified & as directed.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil or any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/ loose/ hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and Labour for rendering 5 mm thick, cement plaster, in cement mortar (1:4) mixed with water proofing compound as per manufactures instructions over and including 10mm thick backing coat in cement mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface in walls, complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Note : Water proofing compound deemed to be inclusive rates

M & L for brick work with Fly bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for brick work with Fly bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cement concrete in foundation, filling and mass concrete in M10(Nominal Mix) using 40 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Use and waste of form work to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions for fair finished surfaces of concrete, square, rectangular or polygonal, complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and Labour for reinforced cement concrete M-25 nominal mix in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete ,complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and Labour for reinforced cement concrete M-25 nominal mix in columns; pillars; piers; posts; struts etc,complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia. and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips and including welding has to be done with minimum 20 cm over lap for new and old of any height. Complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix mild steel TMT bars 5 mm dia. and over up to and including 10 mm dia. in stirrups, spacers, binders etc. cut to length, bend to shape required including cranking, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia. or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Mild steel screw bolts diameter of neck from 11 to 15 mm (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, n exc 5cm long all as specified.

M&L Mild Steel framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing confirming to steel of grade Fe 410 -W (Gde- E- 250) quality-A complete all as specified and as directed

S&F Mild steel, plain black sheet 1.25mm thick in wall cladding, steel gates & similar work, cut to size, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets & fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc. as required

S & F galvanized steel barbed wire with two strands of line wire of dia 2.24 mm and barbed with point wire of dia 2 mm at 75 mm spacing straining and fixing to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised iron binding wire, GI staples or steel pins, etc. complete all as specified and as directed (two strand of line wire will be measured as one unit).

S & F hot rolled low tensile structural steel of grade E165 as per IS 15911: 2010 as in hand rails, half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embedding in concrete and screwing etc. Wind ties for roof including securing bolts; posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar works complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing galvanized steel chain link fence fabric of any mesh size , 4 mm nominal dia of mesh wire as approved conforming to IS 2712-2003 and having zinc coating of type heavy as laid down in IS-4826 including line wires/ binding complete all as specified and as directed(A Board of Officers under the orders of GE shall be convened to ascertain the weight per square metre of galvanized steel wire chain link fencing brought at site by the contractor against each lot of materials). Make Tata or equivalent make as approved by GE

M & L for applying Two 100 % Acrylic Exterior Emulsion paint in camouflage pattern (Three colours as approved by GE) (Berger,Weather coat Advanced XP Brand/Asain Paints :Apex ultima Brand /ICI:Dulux Weather shield Max Brand/J&N:Safeguard Optima Brand over a coat of exterior wall primer on new concrete/wall surfaces at any height including all necessary scaffolding and safety measures complete all as specified and directed. (Work shall be exectuted through authorised applicator and shall be get approved by GE before commencement of work)

Preparation of newly or previously untreated steel surface of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge
