REPAIR RMU, VCB, GOD AND OTHER ALLIED WORKS AT 11KV AND 33KV DISTRIBUTING SYSTEM UNDER GE(AF) BORJHAR

Excavating in trenches n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m deep and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed. Note: No Mechanical excavator shall be permitted at site.

All as per Item No 1 above but exceeding 1.5 mtr or part their of in depth beyond the first 1.5 mtr in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading levelling watering and well rammming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in depth complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and spreading dry coarse sand in trenches as in sand cushioning for cable protection spread to uniform 23 cm thick and punch down gently to 18 cm after laying cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Compacted thickness i.e. 18cm shall be measured and paid only)

Taking out / down existing unserviceable 11KV, HT UG cable from trenches/duct/ HT poles of any cross sectional area including disconnecting, including taking out PCC covers, GI Pipe etc. of any descriptions, segregation of serviceable materials viz PCC cable cover, GI Pipes, UG cables etc. and tracing the location of fault and keep in safe custody for re-use complete all as directed NOTE : (i) Earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under relevent items (ii) Serviceable cable covers, cables and GI pipes shall be kept aside for re-use

Supply & Laying for un reinforced precast concrete cable cover Class HV Type-2, flat of size 450 X 180 X 40mm, embosed as "MES HT CABLE" for under ground cable protection in trench with gap between adjacent precast concrete cover not exceeding 10mm over HT under ground cable all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No 7 above but laying only old serviceable PCC cable cover in trenches for under ground cable protection complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Old serviceable cover obtained vide item No 6 here in before shall be re-used)

M&L for relaying heavy duty HT under ground cable of any size,11000 V grade(E), XLPE insulated cable in pipe /trench /cable duct /fixed on wall by proper size shaped GI clamps with nut bolts etc and making good the disturbed surfaces by cement mortar/paint to match with the existing surface complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for connection to Feeder Pillar Box, GOD, AB Switches or any other indicatated location by heavy duty round wire armoured HT under ground cable 185Sq mm, 3Core,11000 V grade earthed XLPE insulated, FRLS PVC inner & outer sheathed ,multi stranded circular aluminium conductor cable conforms to IS 7098/(Part-II) 1985 with latest ammendments in pipe /trench /cable duct /fixed on pole by proper size shaped GI clamps with nut bolts etc and making good the disturbed surfaces complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 -185 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 - 185 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for GI tubes 100 mm bore light grade galvanized with all fittings laid in trenches/ wall/ pole through MS flat (25X3 mm), nut, bolt & washers [ as reqd ] of proper sizes for protection cables complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr depth for laying pipe for throughing cable in bituminous macadum road / hardstanding all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC concrete 1:3;6 Type C-1 with 20mm graded aggregate for planting cable route indicator /foundation or any others work incl. necessary formwork (as reqd) all as specified and directed.

M&L for boring under roads by reqd T&P without disturbing the top surface of the road for throughing the cable in GI Pipe all as specified and directed.

M&L for cable route indicator made up of precast RCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) of size 300mm wide and 800mm height and 100 mm thick, install the same on ground by PCC works in 1:3:6 Type C1 (size 310mm x 150mm x 300mm), engraved the words in capital letters of size 5cm height and 2cm width "MES 11KV CABLE or MES CABLE JOINT" including rendering 10mm thick in CM (1:3) and two coats of weather coat paint over a coat of primer etc complete all as directed. Note : Installation of route indicator through earth & PCC works shall be measured and paid separately.

M & L for planting of steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-55 (11.0 metres) including painting with two coats of sky blue enamel paint (upto 1.5m from PCC foundation) and aluminium paint (rest of the portion) over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces of any description over 10cm in width or girth including preparation of new untreated surfaces complete complete all as specified and directed.

Triming the tree branches of dia 80mm to 125mm falling / touching the HT/LT overhead line or any other location at different area under GE (AF) Borjhar with suitable labours and cutting tools and removing the branches to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr length complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and coventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. Clamps, bolts, and nuts of approved size, for HT,25X20cm complete incl. taking down old one all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC concrete 1:4:8 Type D-2 with 40mm graded aggregate as in foundation of poles including necessary formwork (as required) all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in coping etc including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m depth below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connected to galvanized steel strip of size 32X6mm by means of galvanized steel nut, bolt, washer, protection pipe for earth wire from the earthing plate to the Test Point at a distance not exceeding 10 m from the inspection pit, (50 mm bore, Light grade), watering pipe from plate to earthing pit (20 mm bore, medium grade), funnel and connected other end to the Test Point . The inspection pit made up of PCC 1:3:6 type CI of size 450x450x450mm and pit cover made up of 40 mm thick pre cast RCC 1:2:4 type BI reinforced with 6 mm dia TMT rod and suitable handle of 8 mm dia TMT rod incl necessary earth work as shown in SSR Part I, plate no.3 including testing the earth resistance all as specified & directed. Note:- Galvanized steel strips & GI protection pipe of 50mm dia beyond 7.5m shall be measured & paid separately

M&L earth continuity conductor made of 32x6 mm galvanized steel strip or main earthing lead fixed to wall /duct / roof or any other indicated location for loop earthing etc complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for tubes 50 mm bore light grade galvanized with all fittings laid in trenches/ fixed on wall by MS flat (25X3 mm), nut, bolt & washers [ as reqd ] of proper sizes complete for protection of copper strips or any other works all as specified and directed. Make- Nezone/Bansal/Jindal

M&L for writing letter, figures, index arrows etc not exc 30 cm in height on LT switch gear panel/ pole/ or other specified location complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for MS cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and backplates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint incl. taking down old corroded one complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 150mm height,150mm dia for 11000V grade incl. taking down old unsv one complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous, 145mm high and 255mm dia ball socket type brown coloured single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000V incl. taking down old unsv one complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for fixing of switch airbreak gang operated triple pole, mechanically operated, mounted on nine porcelain insulator and steel frame, with operating mechanism worked from ground level, for current rating 400A, 11000V incl taking down old unsv/corroded one complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for fixing of drop out fuse unit assembly (channel type) complete with MS base frame & expulsion fuse and six porcelain insulators for current rating 400A, 11000V incl taking down old unsv/corroded one complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for fixing a three nos lightning arrestor expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge class 65KA, 11000V including all clamps, nuts, bolts washer and connecting with existing earth GI strip of any size including taking down old unsv one complete all as specified and directed.

S&F overhead ACSR jumpers weasel/ rabbit/ dog type (as reqd at site), 11KV and transformer leads for outdoor transformer at various location of sub stations, two pole and four pole structure in different length as required at site incl. provision of end lugs, nut, bolt and washer of suitable sizes for fixing /connections incl. taking down old unsv/ corroded one all as specified and directed.

S&F D.O fuse elements 33KV, 10-25A all as specified and directed.

S&F D.O fuse elements 33KV 40A all as specified and directed.

S&F fibre tube with metal fitting on both ends of 33000V grade for D.O. fuse elements complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for vice type taps consisting of two brass plates and two bolt and nuts for connecting 2 equal or unequal size conductor of dia 10-14 in GOD or DO fuse or ACSR conductor incl. treatment of taps and ACSR conductor with conducting jelly complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for anticlimbing device spike type fabricated out of MS bars (round/flat) including bolt,washer and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for localization & detection of cable fault through any cable fault locator eqpt under the AOR of GE (AF) Borjhar during any time & odd hours and bad weather conditions within fifteen hours of itimation to contractor through telephone/ message complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Any excavation works reqd for locallization & detection of cable fault shall be measured and paid separately.
