Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :
1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Description
Providing and Fixing at or near ground level precast cement concrete saucer drain of grade M-30 & above and size 450mm long, 600 mm wide and 100mm depth at the edge. The item includes all costs of drain i.e. cost of ingridient of drain such as sand, aggregate, cement. The rate shall also include all leads, lifts, materials, machine tools & plants, testing, labour etc. complete in all respect as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Supplying and laying PVC pipe of 6 kg/cm2 pressure of ISI brand A) 200 mm dia pipe.
Providing and placing readymade cold bituminous pothole patching mix conforming to IRC:116 and guided by IRC SP:100, of approved make, for treatment and restoring of moderate size-shallow potholes/failed bays (i.e. where depth after cleaning is >50 mm but up to 150 mm from surrounding finished WMM/WBM top and Plan area is up to 2 Sqm ), prior to the Bituminous Base course overlay, after cutting, trimming, cleaning , drying/ wiping off excess water, brushing out loose material, levelling , applying tack coat to faces & bottom (RS-1/RS-1h) etc all preparatory operations before restoration treatment and then placing the cold mix in ≤50–75 mm compacted lifts, compaction with plate/ vibratory roller to achieve firm, trafficable surface, finishing flush with surrounding crust, collection & disposal of debris, and all incidentals—complete to the Engineer’s direction.
Providing and laying Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) of specified grading (generally Grading–2) using viscosity graded bitumen VG–40 as binder, produced in a batch type hot-mix plant (60–90 TPH), transported hot and laid by sensor paver to required lines, grades and cross-sections, for use as binder course / profile correction layer, including heating of materials, mixing in required proportions as per approved Job Mix Formula (JMF), spreading, rolling with smooth-wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve required compaction and density, complete in all respects as per MoRTH Clause 507, IS 73, and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (Rate includes cost of bitumen VG–40, aggregates, filler, fuel, plant, labour, quality control, trial stretch, and all incidentals. Tack coat shall be measured separately under the composite relevent item
Providing and laying Bituminous Concrete (BC) of 40 mm compacted thickness , for wearing course using viscosity graded bitumen VG–40 as binder (minimum 5.7–6.0% by mass of total mix as per approved Job Mix Formula (JMF), with crushed aggregates conforming to Grading–II (10 mm NMAS), produced in batch type hot-mix plant, transported hot and laid by sensor paver to specified lines, grades and cross-sections, and compacted with vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve required density and surface evenness; including heating of materials, mixing, spreading, rolling, temperature control, quality control testing, trial stretch, and all incidental works, complete as per MoRTH Clause 509, IS 73, and approved Job Mix Formula (JMF), to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Rate includes cost of bitumen VG–40, aggregates, filler, fuel, plant, labour, QA/QC; tack coat when laid over DBM shall be measured separately under appropriate DSR Item.)
Preparation of GIS/Topographic map using Digital Terrain Model(DTM) including submission of data regarding (1) total site /land area with calculation and analysis, (2) height of ground, Surface analysis & Contouring, (3) Position of various Engineering Infrastructure with its design, (4) earth cutting and filling estimation with respect to various benchmark, (5) volumetric information AS PER SCOPE /DELIVERABLES STIPULATED IN cl 10 (important notes) under TECHNICAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge

Providing and executing comprehensive surface preparation & treatment of existing degraded Bituminous/WMM roads prior to profile correction and Bituminous overlay, including - (i) Removal of loose, disintegrated aggregates and dust by mechanical broom, light scraping, and oil-free compressed air. (ii) Scarifying or light scraping of friable old premix coat wherever erodible or glossy, to expose sound base. (iii) Edge trimming and vegetation removal along berms up to 1.0 m width each side. (iv) Collecting and disposing of loosened material to the designated location outside campus with all leads/lifts. (v) Treatment of all small sizes (plan area up to 2 Sqm) potholes and scabs by cutting, trimming, cleaning and levelling. (vi) Applying prime coat with cationic bitumen emulsion SS-1 / SS-1h at 0.7 – 1.0 kg/m² on exposed granular/ WMM patches. (vii) Applying tack coat with RS-1/RS-1h at 0.25 – 0.30 kg/m² on existing bituminous areas/over primed surface, using calibrated distributors. Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of diesel engine-driven self-priming set comprising: 1. 12.5 HP air-cooled diesel engine, 1500 RPM, handle start with self-start kit and 12V battery, 2. 4" (100 mm) self-priming mud pump, discharge capacity minimum 40 LPS, head up to 25 meters, suction lift up to 8 meters, 3. Complete with suction pipe 25 eet(reinforced PVC/HDPE), 4-inch canvas delivery pipe 30 meters, 4-inch bend (1 No.), 4-inch foot valve (1 No.), 4-inch clamps (3 Nos.), 2 Nos. wash coolers, 4.
