Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeing 1.5 m in depth for laying of pipe lines, laying of UG cables and getting out in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- During the excavation any damage to the existing services like telephone cable, electric cable, sewage line etc will be repaired by the contractor at his own risk and cost. No extra payment will be borne by the dept on this account.

Returning, filling in. including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus excavated soil not exceeding 50 m distance and depositing where directed by Engr-in-Charge at level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above starting point, complete all specified and directed.

Supply, installation, fixing, jointing and testing of 200mm dia foot valve , ISI marked of approved quality, cast iron foot valve conforming to IS – 14846 flanged including jointing materials including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable foot valve, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning of MES water supply installations / campus (Approx area 1500 sqm) by surface dressing or trimming of natural ground to remove small unequalities not exceeding 15 cm deep ( including removing vegetation / shrubs / brush wood / under-growth etc.), cleaning of drains & carrying away the rubbish to a distance of not exceeding 50m away, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for painting of CI / DI / GI pipe lines of any sizes in various MES Pump house with two coats of synthetic enamel paint after preparing surfaces and writing of Inlet / Out let direction etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr- in -charge

Cleaning of semi underground clarifloculators size 10 m dia and 3 m deep (internal dimensions) by removal of mud/wet silt from inside tank depth of mud 0.5 to 1.0 m from floor level and removal of mud/liquid silt to a distance n exc. 50 mtr and cleaning of tank by scrubing the silt & scale from floor and walls and washing out tank with alum mixed water finally with clear water untill the clear water is not obtained, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Diversion of course of river (Tawi River) into the intake channel of the suction side of the raw water pumps installed at Long Term Water Supply Pump House so that the intake channel get sufficient raw water for pumping to the sedimentation bed by using excavators/JCB’s, complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) T&P required such as excavators/JCB shall be provided by the contractor and rate for the same shall be included in the quoted rates. (ii) Manpower required for making channels near intake shall be provided by the contractor. (iii) Sand bag required for making channels shall be provided by the contractor and rate for the same shall be included in the quoted rate.

Dewatering of Dug well of size 13.5 mtr depth and 6 mtr dia by pumping out water with pump set and removing mud, sand depositing out side the Dug well 50 mtr away and cleaning the Dug well thoroughly inside & bottom by using wire brush and removing all the sticky participles including making a rectangle strip of adequate size with black paint on the out side surface of the Dug well and writing date of cleaning with white paint over the strip, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. Note:- Suitable size opening by cutting the side brick wall of Dug well shall be made for removing mud and sludge from Dug well and the same shall be made good after completion of work. The rate shall be deemed to included in the quoted rate.

Dewatering of semi UG sump of capacity 3.0 Lakhs Gallon by pumping out water with pumping set and removing mud, sand, gravel etc from semi UG sump manually and depositing out side the semi UG sump 50 Mtr away and cleaning the semi UG sump thoroughly inside & bottom by using wire brush and removing all the sticky particles including making a rectangle strip of adequate size with black paint on the out side surface of the semi UG sump and writing date of cleaning with white paint over the strip, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Dewatering of semi UG sump of capacity 1.5 Lakhs Gallon by pumping out water with pumping set and removing mud, sand, gravel etc from semi UG sump manually and depositing out side the semi UG sump 50 Mtr away and cleaning the semi UG sump thoroughly inside & bottom by using wire brush and removing all the sticky particles including making a rectangle strip of adequate size with black paint on the out side surface of the semi UG sump and writing date of cleaning with white paint over the strip complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Dewatering of semi UG sump of capacity 0.5 Lakhs Gallon by pumping out water with pumping set and removing mud, sand, gravel etc from semi UG sump manually and depositing out side the semi UG sump 50 Mtr away and cleaning the semi UG sump thoroughly inside & bottom by using wire brush and removing all the sticky particles including making a rectangle strip of adequate size with black paint on the out side surface of the semi UG sump and writing date of cleaning with white paint over the strip complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Dewatering of over head tank of capacity 01 Lakhs Gallon up to a height of 70 feet by drain out through washout valve and removing mud, sand, gravel etc from the over head tank manually and depositing out side the over head tank 50 Mtr away and cleaning the over head tank thoroughly inside, walls & bottom by using wire brush and removing all the sticky particles including making a rectangle strip of adequate size with black paint on the out side surface of the over head tank and writing date of cleaning with white paint over the strip, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

M&L for construction of brick masonry valve pit for valve of size 120 cm x120 cm x120 cm (internal size) with mild steel sheet cover 3mm thick and angle iron frame of size 50x50x6mm duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a cost of red oxide primer including locking arrangements all as specified and as shown on drawing, brick work and all inner side of pit shall be plastered in cement mortar (1:4) includind Dismantling of old unserviceable valve pit of any size/shape, complete all as specified and directed. (Note: The old unserviceable materials and earth work materials from the old valve pit shall be removed from site as per the direction of Engr-in-Charge/JE. (ii) Necessary earth work required for making the valve pit shall be done by the contractor and cost for the same shall be included in the quoted rate.)

M&L for construction of valve pit chamber of size internal 75cmx75cmx75cm including PCC 1:3:6 Type C-1 and brick works and plastering in CM 1:4 inside including provn of 40mmx40mm angle iron with 3mm thick MS sheet and locking arrangement including Dismantling of old unserviceable valve pit of any size/shape, complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Necessary earth work for making valve pit shall be done by the contractor and its cost shall be included in the quoted rate).

S&F in repairs of MCCB 400 Amps, 4 pole, 415 Volts, 36 KA, with adjustable thermal and adjustable magnetic settings as per existing at site, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs of MCCB 250 Amps, 3 pole, 415 Volts, 36 KA, with adjustable thermal and adjustable magnetic settings as per existing at site, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only alumina ferric (Grade-1) suitable for purification of drinking water in the form of solid lumps/slabs from the manufacturer having valid BIS certificate as specified in table 1 of IS: 299-2012 Make: Swastic chemical Delhi / JK Alums & Chemiclas Pvt Ltd or equivalent in other approved make by E-in-C's Br. Note-Each block of alum supplied by the contractor should have a marking indicating weight of the slab and manufacturing date and be in proper packing. The contractor shall submit the lab test report from any Govt approved lab of the alumina ferric supplied.

Deduction to be made from BOQ for schedule of credit (Sch 'A' Part - II) Amount of Rs. 55430.00 during AOC Note:- Tenderers shall not quote for this Schedule
