PART-A: Point Wiring & Associated works Point wiring :- Providing point wiring for light / ceiling fan / 6A socket outlet / 16A socket outlet/water heater/A.C/bell points etc. with 1100V grade, FRLS PVC insulated multi stranded copper wires in existing 25mm dia. PVC conduit / 25 x 16mm size white PVC casing capping , modular type controlling switches / socket outlets with readymade concealed type switch boxes / fabricated 16 SWG MS CRCA sheet powder coated surface type switch boxes with cover plate & frame, angle / batten/pendent lamp holders, 3-plate ceiling roses , PVC junction boxes , PVC round plates, terminal looping connector blocks, ferrule numbers on both sides of wires, 1.1kV grade FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor wires for earthing, labelling etc. all as per site conditions, specifications and as instructed by Engineer-in-charge. Scope shall also include providing the tags for wires inside casing capping for bunching to avoid hanging of wires at the intervals of 600mm. PLEASE REFER ADDITIONAL NOTES FOR FULL DESCRIPTION.

Primary Light point with 1.5 sq.mm wires complete with 6A, SP, 240V controlling switch.

Secondary Light point with 1.5 sq.mm wires complete with interconnection with primary light point.

Ceiling fan point with 1.5 sq.mm wires complete with 6A, SP, 240V switch.

Computer Point with 1.5 sq.mm wires complete with 8 module Power strip having 3 nos. of 6A , 5 Pin universal socket outlets with 16A, 240V controlling switch with indicator.

6A socket outlet point with 1.5 sq.mm wires complete with 6A , 5 Pin universal socket outlet with 6A, SP, 240V controlling switch .

16A socket outlet point with 2.5 sq.mm wires complete with 6/16A, 240V, 6 pin socket outlet (3 modular) with 16A, SP, 240V controlling switch.

A.C point with 20 A metal plug & socket outlet with 4 sq mm. wires & 20A SP MCB in readymade powder coated MS enclosure.

Water heater point with 4 sq.mm wires complete with 32 A DP isolator in readymade powder coated MS enclosure.

Exhaust fan point with 1.5 sq.mm wires complete with 6A , 5 Pin universal socket outlet with 6A, SP, 240V controlling switch (loaction of socket and switch shall be as per layout drg. & site conditions).

Primary Electric bell point with 1.5 sq.mm wires complete with 6A, 240V modular type bell push including interconnection with existing bells.

Secondary Electric bell point with 1.5 sq.mm wires complete including interconnection with existing bells.

LED Tube light fixtures

LED Tube light fixture (2xT) : Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of tube light fixture with readymade 2 x T batten with holders suitable for LED tubes, complete with 2 nos. of 4 feet, 2100 lumen for each tube, 6500K T-8 LED tubes (plastic tubes) having minimum efficacy of 115 Lm/W , with polycarbonate body & THD < 20% including fixing on the positions of existing tube light fixtures with suitable GI screws , with existing point wiring using 3 nos. of 1.0 sq.mm flexible FRLS copper wires & 4 way terminal connector block including termination with suitable copper lugs etc. as per technical specifications & as per instruction of Engineer in charge. Note: 1. Scope of work also includes dismantling & take away of existing tube light fixtures along with tubes. Credit for taking away dismantled materials shall be inlcuded in the quoted rate. 2. The fixture to be got approved by department before manufacturing / supply. The fixtures shall have onsite replacement warranty of 1 year from date of completion of work . Warranty certificates shall be submitted to department. 3. Batten & tubes shall be of the same make .

LED Tube light fixture with reflector for Black Boards (1xT) : Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of tube light fixture with ready made 1 x T batten with 18 SWG stainless steel unidirectional reflector & holders suitable for LED tubes, complete with 1 no. of 4 feet, 2100 lumen, 6500K T-8 LED tube having minimum efficacy of 115 Lm/W , with polycarbonate body & THD < 20% including fixing on the positions of existing tube light fixtures with suitable GI screws, interconnection with existing point wiring using 3 nos. of 1.0 sq.mm flexible FRLS copper wires & 4 way terminal connector block including termination with suitable copper lugs etc. as required & as per instruction of Engineer in charge. Note: 1) Scope of work includes dismantling & take away of existing tube light fixtures along with tubes. Credit for taking away dismantled materials shall be inlcuded in the quoted rates. 2) Reflector shall be duly fixed with batten for lighting the black boards. 3) The fixture to be got approved by department before manufacturing / supply. The fixtures shall have onsite replacement warranty of 1 year from date of completion of work . Warranty certificates shall be submitted to department. 4) Batten & tubes shall be of the same make .

Bulkhead fixture :- Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of min.700 lumen LED bulkhead lighting fixture having minimum efficacy of 100 lm/watt, cool white/neutral white colour temperature, diffused polycarbonate cover, pressure die cast housing having atleast IP65 & IK08 protection, fixing with suitable anchor fastner with align screw headed bolts on ceiling/wall including providing 3 plate ceiling rose on existing concealed MS junction box in staircase / New PVC junction box in passage with suitable PVC round plate as required, fixing with GI screws etc., interconnection with 3C X 1.0 sq.mm flexible TRS copper conductor chord, termination with suitable copper lugs etc. as required & as per instruction of Engineer in charge. Note: 1) Scope of work also includes dismantling & take away of existing light fixtures along with thier lamps. Credit for taking away dismantled materials shall be inlcuded in the quoted rate. 2) The fixture got to be approved by department before manufacturing / supply. The fixtures shall have onsite replacement warranty of 3 years from date of supply. Warranty certificates shall be submitted to department.

Ceiling Fans

Ceiling fan (BLDC) :- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 1200 mm sweep BLDC ceiling fan confirming to IS 374/1979, speed regulation with remote control, aluminium blades complete with 16SWG safety chain etc. as per technical specifications and as instructed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Scope of work also includes 1.) Dismantling of the exisitng ceiling fans and depositiing the old fans in packed condition in the cartons of new celing fans to DCSEM store. 2.) Interconnection with fan point using 3C X 1.0 sq.mm flexible FRLS multistranded flexible copper conductor chord , 4 way terminal looping connector block (in existing concealed JB) including termination with suitable copper lugs etc. 3.) Replacement of MS cover plate with fabricated 2 mm thick PVC round cover plate for covering the fan junction box. Dimensions of PVC plate shall be same as of the existing plates.

FAN hook:- Fabrication, supply & installation of ceiling fan hook of MS ‘T’ section of size approx. 65 x 65 x 5 mm & 100 mm long, painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide paint, including drilling holes in corners and in center of webs, fixing it by four nos. of anchor fastener of size min. 8 mm x 50 mm including providing ‘S’ hook made up of 8 mm dia (approx.). SS rod for suspension of ceiling fan, all as required and instructed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Fabrication, supply & installation of downrods made up of MS Pipe of suitable size for installation of ceiling fans with 16 SWG safety chain of required length, including powder coating & drilling of holes as required & as per instruction of EIC.

Exhaust fan : Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 300 mm sweep , 1400 rpm Heavy duty Exhaust Fan having air delivery of atleast 1950 m³/h with necessary MS framework including interconnection to existing exhaust fan point with 3Cx 1.5 sq.mm Multistranded Cu. conductor FRLS PVC insulated flexible cable along with 3 pin plug top. Note: Scope of work includes : 1.) Fabrication , Supply & Fixing of MS framework of suitable size on wall/window including making suitable provision in wall/existing window by breaking & chiseling the wall/window, cutting the existing conduits if required, filling the leftover gaps after placing the MS framework with cement mortar, bricks etc. finishing by applying white cement & touch up painting of that area by roller/brush etc. all as instructed by EIC. 2.) Providing 300x300mm (approx.) wire mesh made out of 16 SWG S.S. 304 from back side for covering the fan blades with all SS Hardware as required .

Distribution Boards and LT panel

Design, fabrication, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of LT panel as per technical specifications of Technical bid. Scope of work includes removal of existing LT panel with components and taking away the same. Suitable rebate shall be considered in the quoted rate.

MCCB VTPN DB: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of readymade 8 ways VTPN MCCB DB having IP 43 protection, powder coated double door type including all aceesories and consisting of the following components, all as required & instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge a. 100A, 4P isolator (MCCB type) as incomer - 01 no. b. 63A, 3 pole, 10kA, C-curve MCB as outgoing - 08 nos. c. Cable end boxes - 02 nos. (top & bottom) d. Earthing links, neutral links, tinned copper busbars, DIN channels etc. - 01 set Note: a. Providing danger board, schematic diagram, ferrule numbers etc. is in the scope of work. b. Scope of work includes fixing of VTPN DB on wall with necessary accessories like MS brackets (made up of 40mm X 5mm MS flat including painting with 2 coats of enamel paint over 1 coat of red oxide); anchor fasteners/coach screws etc. all as instructed by EIC. c. Scope of work also includes removal of existing MDBs with components and taking away the same. Suitable rebate shall be considered in the quoted rate.

Shaft DB: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of readymade IP43, 12 ways, PPI, ETPN MCB DB, powder coated double door type including all accessories and consisting of the following components, all as required & instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge a. 63A, 4P isolator (MCB type) as incomer - 01 no. b. 63A, 2P, 30mA RCCB - 03 nos. c. 6-32A SP, 10kA, C-curve MCB - 30 nos. d. Cable end box - 02 nos. (top & bottom) e. PPI kit - 01 set f. Earthing links, neutral links, tinned copper busbars, DIN channels etc. - 01 set Note: a. Providing danger board, schematic diagram, ferrule numbers etc. is in the scope of work. b. Scope of work includes fixing of DB in shaft on wall with necessary accessories like MS brackets (made up of 40mm X 5mm MS flat including painting with 2 coats of enamel paint over 1 coat of red oxide); anchor fasteners/coach screws etc. all as instructed by EIC. c. Scope of work also includes removal of existing DBs with components and taking away the same. Suitable rebate shall be considered in the quoted rate.

Wall DB: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of readymade IP43, 12 ways, PPI, ETPN MCB DB, powder coated double door type including all accessories and consisting of the following components, all as required & instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge a. 63A, 4P isolator (MCB type) as incomer - 01 no. b. 63A, 2P, 30mA RCCB - 03 nos. c. 6-32A SP, 10kA, C-curve MCB - 30 nos. d. Scope of work also includes removal of existing DBs with components and taking away the same. Suitable rebate shall be considered in the quoted rate.

Passage, Staircase & Area Lighting:

Switches for Staircase & Passage : Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 1no. of 6A SP modular control switch with 1 module cover plate & frame, concealed readymade G.I switch box, as required and as per instructions of E-I-C. Note: Scope of work also includes 1.) Cocealement of switch box by breaking the brick wall, cutting the existing conduits, if required & providing 3mm thick Bakelite sheet with flat headed GI screws and chromium plated brass cupwashers for covering the existing unused switch boxes / junction boxes wherever required. 2.) Credit for taking away dismantled switch boxes shall be included in the quoted rate.

Staircase & Passage Area wiring : Replacement of existing Al. wires in existing concealed / surface conduit with 3 nos. of 1.5 sq.mm FRLS grade 1.1 kV PVC insulated flexible multi-stranded copper wires including interconnection using terminal looping connector blocks, termination with suitable copper lugs at junction boxes/ceiling rose/switch boards, ferrule numbers on both sides of wires etc. as per site conditions and as instructed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1.) Credit for taking away dismantled wires shall be included in the quoted rates.

Swivelling Bracket: Fabrication, supply & installation of swivelling bracket for area light luminaries with 1500 mm long , 25 mm Nominal bore dia. G. I. pipe (Class -B) as per IS 1239 bent into required shape for bracket & fixed in 450 mm long, 32 mm Nominal bore dia. GI pipe (Class -B) having 3 no.s of clamping arrangement , made up of 300 mm long 40 X 5 mm G.I. strip, welded suitably to it (32 mm dia. G. I. pipe) including making 2 nos. of 8 mm holes on 32 mm dia. G. I. pipe for welding suitable nuts on pipe with required bolts for tightening the bracket fixed on surface of wall/slab/beam by 6 Nos. of , minimum 10 mm, anchor fastners with coach screws, painting of whole bracket with two coats of enamel paint by dipping method etc. Note: i) Scope also includes providing earthing to bracket by interconnecting with 1.5 sq.mm wire to junction/terminal box.

Termination Box: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of IP66 Halogen free and weather proof cable terminal box (without knockouts) with 4-way terminal block and 0.5-4 A, SP, MCB (D-Curve) on DIN channel, 2mm thick removable gland plate of suitable size, and open-able plain cover etc.

PVC Trunking: Supply & installation of 25 x 16mm size white / ivory PVC casing capping, on surface of slab/ wall / column fixed with nylon rawal plug, GI wood screws at intervals of 300mm complete with all accessories like PVC sleeves at wall crossing etc. as per instructions of Engineer-in-charge. Scope of work also includes providing bunching tags for wires inside casing capping at the intervals of 600mm

Concealed HMS PVC conduit in wall/flooring: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 25mm dia. FRLS HMS PVC conduit in wall/column/slab/beam/ground, complete with necessary accessories like coupler, elbow, tee, bends, circular boxes etc. Note: Scope of work also includes cutting & chiseling in wall/ column/slab for concealement of conduit, filling the leftover gaps with cement, mortar , finishing by applying white cement & necessary touch up painting etc. as per site conditions & as instructed by EIC.

HMS PVC conduit on surface: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 25mm dia. FRLS HMS PVC conduit fixed on the surface of wall / slab / column / beam with 2 mm thick hot dip GI saddle & 4-5 mm thick hot dip GI Spacer (at intervals of 300mm) complete with necessary accessories like coupler, elbow, tee, bends, circular boxes etc. all as per specification & as instructed by EIC.

PVC coated flexible steel Conduit: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 25mm dia. Galvanised Steel flexible Conduit with PVC Coating complete with necessary accessories like coupler, elbow, tee, bends, circular boxes etc. fixed on the surface of wall / slab / column / beam with 2mm thick hot dip GI saddle & 4-5 mm thick hot dip GI Spacer as per specification & as instructed by EIC.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 1.1 KV grade 3C x 6sq.mm XLPE insulation, PVC inner sheathed, G.I armoured, extruded FRLS PVC outer sheathed, multi stranded Aluminium conductor cable conforming to IS 7098 Part-I with latest amendments including excavation in all types of soil.

On wall/column/slab with 4-5mm thick hot dip G.I. flat/angle support as spacers at intervals of 300mm fixed with coach screws/anchor fasteners/grouted in wall & 2mm. thick hot dip G.I. saddle with all fixing accessories, etc.

In existing Hume pipe/G.I. Pipe/HDPE pipe/trench /shaft/pit.

In ground at a depth of 900 mm below ground level including sand bedding, laying of baked bricks on side & top as per IS, reinstatement, back filling, dewatering, consolidation etc. as per enclosed detailed technical specifications & as per instructions of the E-I-C .

LT cable termination: Providing end termination of following sizes of 1.1 kv grade XLPE insulated armoured cables with solder less heavy duty tinned copper lugs, heavy duty brass cable gland, insulation tape, duplicate earthing with brass earthing tags of suitable thickness ,inter connection to nearest earthing point with 8 SWG GI wires, copper lugs etc. as per relevant IS specification and as per instruction of Engineer in-charge.

Earth Station works:

New earthing chamber: Providing earth station with heavy dipped GI earth plates electrode 600 x 600 x 6.0 mm in size at the depth minimum of 2.5 m below ground level (bottom of Plate) confirming to IS 3043 complete with all required materials like coke / charcoal, salt, G.I nut bolts, washers, 20 mm dia. nominal bore GI pipe (Class-B), 150 mm thick concrete wall chamber duly plastered having size of 500 x 500 x 500 mm, heavy duty (minimum 6 mm thick) M.S chequred plate cover, associated materials like 40 x 40 x 5 mm angle iron frame work, hinged locking arrangements, complete with funnels, GI test links (50 x 6 mm), two runs of 25 x 6mm G.I strips for connecting G.I plate & test link etc. including excavation of ground in all types of soils, refilling & removal of excess earth within a radius of 3000 m etc. all as required as per the drawings, specifications & instructed by Engineer-in-charge. Renovation of Existing Earthing Chamber Providing 150 mm thick concrete wall chamber duly plastered having size of 500 x 500 x 500 mm, heavy duty (minimum 6 mm thick) M.S chequred plate cover, associated materials like 40 x 40 x 5 mm angle iron frame work, hinged locking arrangements, GI test link (50 x 6 mm) etc. including necessary excavation of ground for chamber making in all types of soils, refilling & removal of excess earth within a radius of 3000 m etc. all as required as per the drawings, specifications & instructed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- 1. The scope of work also includes Dismantling & breaking of existing chamber & take away of chamber cover & other associated materials. Credit for taking away dismantled materials shall be inlcuded in the quoted rates. 2. The new chamber cover & frame shall be got approved by Department & painted with two coats of red oxide & one coat of enamel paint. 3. Painting of earth value & test date on cover plate.

Earthing strips: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of following sizes of heavy dipped GI strip fixed to wall / slab / column / beam with 2mm thick GI saddle & 4-5 mm thick GI Spacer OR in ground at a depth of 750 mm below ground level including excavation in all type of soil , refilling and removal of excess earth within a radius of 3000 mtrs., temporary reinstatement and back filling of trench, interconnection of earth strips / wires with GI nut bolts & washers, painting with two coats of black bituminous compound for earth strip in ground and green colour enamel painting for strip on surface etc. all as required & instructed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in soft soil/murum including shorting or dewatering including removing of bricks/tiles etc., disposing the excess earth within the radius of 3000 m as required & as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Cutting of asphalt road / concrete flooring /drain by using hydraulic drilling machine upto 200mm depth as required and stacking of rocks, refilling, consolidation of surface, making good to the original finish & Disposing the excess earth within the radius of 3000 m as required & as directed by Engineer-in- charge.
