MANNING AND OPERATION OF FIRE FIGHTING PUMP HOUSE INCLUDING MAINTENANCE OF FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM AND COMPHREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE OF HOT EOT CRANES AT MO GOA AND NAD UNDER GE GOMANTAK VASCO

Manning & Operation for rendering essential services of fire fighting system installation at MO Goa round the clock comprising of one No fire fighting electrically driven pump, motor and one No. jockey electrically driven pump, motor and one No. diesel generating driven pump with connected valves, etc in one No Skilled Operator each shift (three shifts from 0800 hrs to 1600 hrs, 1600 hrs to 2400 hrs and 2400 hrs to 0800 hrs) on every day including Holiday and Sunday all as specified and directed.

All as per Ser No 1 here in before, but for Fire Fighting installation at NAD Goa

Notes for Item Nos 1 & 2 (a) 24 hours period will be considered as a day (b) One pump shall be run at a time as required. (c) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include for any minor repairs to pump, electric driven motor, DG set and connected valves, supply and replacement of bolts, nuts, washers, gland packing, battery maintenance etc removing and refixing of suction pipes are required for smooth running of fire fighting plant without any extra cost. (d) Log sheet shall be maintained properly. (e) The operator is responsible for operate the Gen set of fire fighting system installation during interruption of current and daily maintenance of DG set (f) The Contractor shall be responsible for safe custody of fire fighting system installation and hand over the fire fighting system installation to the department in good working condition on expiry of contract period. (g) Every day trial run is to be conducted for 10 minute for serviceability of equipment/machinery including connected item. (h) The contractor shall be whole responsible if operator found absent during shift, payment shall not be made/paid for the shift if the plant/Installation is running.

(k) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes ,cess, levies etc as applicable including GST (l) The prevailing rate,wage,contribution etc shall be as applicable as on the bid submission end date. (m) In view of COVID-19 alerts various restrictive instructions issued concerned authorities from time to time. Hence additional precautions essential for the work shall be taken by the contractor by way of provisioning of masks, hand sanitizers, gloves etc to workmen and all local instructions issued by the Concerned Authorities and Station Authorities shall be complied with all relevant safety precautions covered under Model Rules for the protection of health and sanitary arrangement for workmen (Annexure ‘C’) of IAFW-2249) shall be strictly followed. Nothing extra is admissible on this account (n) The contractor shall also deploy additional man power as relief against weekly off,leave,holidays etc all as per existing Labour Act and shall substitute the operator accordingly for which no extra payment admissible. The unit rate quoted against items in Schedule ‘A’/BOQ shall be inclusive of this provision also. (o) The contractor shall pay the wages to the operator through e-payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts and Credit to their bank account. The wages shall not be less than prevailing minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more.

(p) It is responsibility of contractor to deposit the employees provident fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all Electrician/operator/helper (as applicable) and necessary proof to this regard shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge for verification and records. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, he shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding. (q) The contractor shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall be produced to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department.

Repair overhauling of Monoblock/ centrifugal/ submersible pump set upto 75 HP by replacing worn out gland packing, gasket, bearing bushes bolts, nuts, washers etc including ,cleaning greasing tighten of bolts, nuts and testing and all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix ball bearing suitable for 75HP capacity motors/pumps after removal of old unserviceable bearing and making proper alignment and testing all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 4, here in before, but Pump Up to 15 HP.

Material and labour for re-winding of electrical motor of pump set with super enamelled copper winding wire of required gauge by providing necessary insulating material, baking, varnishing etc including painting with two coat of painting over one coat of red oxide complete UP to 75 HP all as manufacturing instruction all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for heavy NRV complete with iron wheel conforming to IS 1969 double flanged and drilled end provided with high tensile steel spindle including GI flanged Bolts/Nuts/washers gasket etc all and removal of old valve of following sizes :-

(a) 200 mm dia

(b) 100 mm dia

Supply and fix stainless steel foot valve 200mm dia bore pipe screwed of flanged type with gasket including taking down of existing valve complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing, radiography testing three coats of painting and commissioning of hydrant valves single headed ISI marked 63 mm dia landing valves with and including CI hand wheel, CAF gasket, nuts, bolts, etc. conforming to IS : 5290-1977, type A for internal hydrants complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for heavy duty sluice valve class PN 1:6 complete with iron wheel conforming to IS 1969 double flanged and drilled end provided with high tensile steel spindle including GI flanged Bolts/Nuts/washers gasket etc all and removal of old valve of following sizes :-

(a) 200 mm dia

(b) 100 mm dia

Supply, fixing and testing fire fighting delivery hose, RRL hose pipe 15m long 63mm dia ISI marked, non-percolating, flexible, 3 layered synthetic jacketed with electrometric outer covering, resistant to liquids, chemicals, acids, alkalis, solvents, abrasion & heat having 42 Kg / sqcm burst pressure, 18 Kg/sqcm working pressure, conforming to IS: 636-1988 type-B and having TAC MMD approvals in 15 mtr length with copper wire bounded instantaneous type 63 mm fire hose pair of male & female coupling made of aluminium alloy (anodised) in each run of hose conforming to IS : 903 all complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m width and not exc 1.5m in depth getting out in hard/dense soil all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m width and not exc 1.5m in depth getting out in soft disintegrated rock all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in thick using excavated hard/dense soil all as specified and directed.

M&L for Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed all as specified and directed..

M&L for Servicing of Diesel driven pump set of capacity 90 BHP and 77 KVA of make Kirloskar by the authorised Engineer of respective manufacturer on half yearly basis to make the DG Set continuous operational condition including the following checking all as specified and directed.

(i) Removing the existing engine oil, clean the oil sump and refilling with required quantity of new engine oil 20W40 & coolant to top up. (ii) Checking of fan hub (iii) Checking exhaust and inlet manifold belt and cap screw (iv) Cleaning of radiator inside and out side thoroughly with solution (caustic soda) to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge by removing and re-fixing in original position after cleaning. (v) Checking and adjusting injector and valves, tappet and replace the gasket including cost of gasket. (vi) Cleaning fuel inlet connections and screw. (vii) Checking of vibration damper and rectified. (viii) Servicing of turbocharger by checking, leakage tightening of mounting screws & nuts and replace oil. (ix) Checking water temperature safety control. (x) Checking and correcting up impeller of water pump for excess play. (xi) Servicing of governor and Changing of Governor Oil. (xii) Checking and adjusting all fan belt. (xiii) Any other check as per manufacturer's instructions Note :- Spare parts mentioned below to be changed at the time of servicing. Coolant, Engine oil as required will be measured and paid seperately (a) Fuel filter (b) Lubrication oil filter (c) Bypass filter (d) Air Filter

M&L for Rewinding of armature of Dynamo/alternators 24 volts with `F' class copper wire to match existing gauge including dismantling of old coil, cleaning thoroughly winding with super enamelled copper cord of existing size and gauge, varnishing, drying etc and fixed with dynamo/alternator properly testing and commissioning all as specified all and directed.

S & F repair radiator hoses of size 40mm dia or as per existing dia and 60 cm length for any capacity of Diesel Driven Engine including jubilee clip, clamp nuts etc are properly fixed and connected all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair flexible pressure pipe for lubricant size of 60 cm length for oil and fuel connection for complete suitable for 90BHP/77KVA Engine all as specified and directed.

Repair/overhauling of 90BHP/77 KVA Diesel Driven Engine self starter including replacement of worn out clutch assembly, bush, spring, plunger assembly, solenoid switch, carbon brushes, brush spring etc. all as specified and directed.

Repair/overhauling of dynamo including replacement carbon, brushes holder, spring, commutator /slipring assembly bearing, regulator etc. of any make, type and capacity all as specified and directed.

Supply and replace PVC insulated battery lead with 16 Sq.mm copper conductor cable of length 2 mar with copper/brass clamps and lugs for fixing on battery terminals and self starter complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling water coolant (diluted) in radiator of make valve line or equivalent including removal of old water/coolant, all as specified and directed.

S & F fan belt for 90BHP/77KVA capacity of Diesel Driven Engine Set including dismantling the existing fan belt all as specified and directed.

S& Fill distilled water packed in sealed gallon of 5 Ltrs with Acid all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fixing only sealed maintenance free Battery 12V, 200 AH complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and labour for applying two coats of supper enamelled paint by spray painting including preparation of diesel engine driven generating set of any capacity 380KVA/90/77BHP DG Set complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for aplying two coats of super enamelled paint by spray painting including preparation of motor and pump of 75 HP complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for aplying two coats of super enamelled paint by spray painting including preparation hydrant valve post and box with existing colour complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for servicing of fire alarm system panel installed at NOFRA including repair/replacement of unserviceable parts complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, installing ,testing and commissioning of precharged air vessel made out of 4-5mm MS sheet (size 450 mm dia & 1500 mm height) for pressurization of hydrant system complete with adequate pressure gauge/ switches (as per design / requirement) with valves to operate as per operating sequences including 25 mm dia drain valve, air release valve with stop cock on the top, 25 mm dia inlet with isolating valve duly painted from inside and outside complete as required shall be installed at the pump room all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Forged brass Air release valve (Screwed) heavy duty of size 32 mm dia bore pipe screwed including taking down of existing valve complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix pressure gauge of Range 0-14 Kg/cm2 Dial Size 100mm or 4 Inch Pressure Gauge made of MS Casing, Brass Internal and bottom connection including taking down of existing gauge complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for run lead joint including removal of old joints/joining material, excavation and earth work if any required, etc for cast iron pipe of 200mm size including taking out old run lead joint complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rubber flanged joint including removal of old joints/jointing material, and replacing nuts and bolts etc for GI/Cast iron of pipe of 200mm size complete all as specified and directed including taking out old joint.

Supply & Fixing of double door Hose Box made of MS of 16 SWG of size 750 x 650 x 250 mm to accommodate 2 hoses of 15m length and 1 branch pipe with viewing glass on the doors and duly painted with the letters 'FIRE' including removal of old complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs, Multisensor detector (Smoke + Thermal) certified to EN-45 with base with galvanised steel, back box and all mounting accessories complete all as specified and directed

Supply & Replacement of ELECTRONIC HOOTER dual tone duly painted in red colour paint with ABS(Non Metalic) housing complete all as specified and directed.

Replacement of Manual call points duly painted in red colour paint with ABS(Non Metalic) housing, The device shall have an LED which shall blink in normal state and get steady on activation to monitor the health status of the device all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fixing wiring with 2 core 2.5 sqmm armoured multi stranded FRLHS unsheathed PVC copper conductor cable 1100 Volts drawn in casing capping including all accessories as required and connecting to Fire alarm panel to smoke detector, fire alarm and manual call point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix in repair battery duly charged 12 V 7.2 AH complete all as specified and directed.
