Taking down old unsv earthing of any type and size but Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connected to and including galvanised wire 4 mm dia (up or 7.5 mtr length) and GI pipe 40 mm light grade for protection of GI earth wore by means of bolts, nuts, checknuts and washers made out of galvanised iron and connected to earth test point as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-1-2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including excavation and earth work any in type of strata available at site, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 for earth chamber, precast RCC slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (xpm) weight not less the (4kg/sqm) funnel with GI watering pipe of 20mm bore medium grade, wire nuts and lugs including taking down old u/s one complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost.

All as per item No01 but using galvanised iron strip 32×6mm as earthing lead

All as per item No 01 but using copper plate 60×60cm ×3.15mm thick electrode and 20×3mm copper strip as earthing lead.

Taking down old unsv earthing of any type and size but Material and labour for Chemical Earthing with copper earth strip 32X6 MM and copper earth plate 90X60CMX5MM complete with require connected items all as specified and as directed. Note:- On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost.

Taking down unsv earth continuity conductor of any type and size but Supply and fixing in replacement Earth continiuty conductor or main earthing lead fixed on wall on batten or recess or chases or buired in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to pole or any other indicated suituation for loop earthing etc, as required for galvanised iron wire 4 mm dia with proper saddles / spacer, screw etc, alll as specified and directed.

All as per item No 06 but 25×4 mm galvanised iron strip .

Taking down old/ unsv termination rod of any type and size but Supply and fixing in replacement of air termination single pointed aluminium rod of 12mm dia 300 mm long fixed to strip/pipe including drilling holes, nuts, bolts washers for resting/ supporting of air terminals etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down old/ unsv test point of any type and size but Supply and fixing in repair test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down serviceable rod and after cleaning and repair , refixing of air termiantion single pointed Aluminium rod 12mm dia 300 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 18 but copper rod.

Taking down test point of any type and size and refixing with new nut & bolts after repair of base with suitable cemented work.

Taking down serviceable strip and after cleaning and repair, refixing the same in repair Aluminium strip 25X3.15 MM wth saddels and fixing screws etc, for roof conductors and down conductors above ground with require connected items complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only of common salt commercial all as directed complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Cutting the existing GI pipe of any size for tapping or new connection with 25 mm including required fitting complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep for laying pipe line and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick with dry type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distanc3 not exceeding 50 mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for sub main wiring with two single core stranded copper conductor unsheathed PVC insulated cable 1100V grade, 4 sq mm drawn through and including suitable size of non-metallic PVC rigid conduit with 4sqmm copper conductor cable as earth conductor and conduit accessories fixed up in surface/ recessed as required, including connecting up complete all as specified and directed including taking down old U/S wiring. Note:-Two run of cable and one run of earth continuity copper conductor and non metalic PVC conduit shall be measured as one unit length.

All as per item No 36 above but with 6 sq mm single core copper conductor.

All as per item No 36 above but with 10 sq mm single core copper conductor.

Repairing and maintenance of old existing earth pit by taking out carefully earth plate, watering pipe, earth lead protection pipe and re-buried the same after removing sludge from the plate & pipes including re-connection/brazing the plate and strip, whichever is required at site (Earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level ) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level,complete all as specified and directed including PCC 1:3:6 type C1 pit with cover of RCC 1:2:4 type B1,reinforced with welded steel wire fabric not less than 4 kg per sqmtrwith handle andangle iron frame,watering arrangment with 20 mm bore GI medium grade pipe ISI marked, GI funnel with GI mesh,filling with mixture of commen salt and charcoal,necessary excavation, refilling, removing away soil and earth work in any type of soil including test point, testing and commissioning complete all as specifed and as directed. Note : GI Funnel, brazing, mixture of salt/char coal/MGSO4 shall be measured and paid separately under releavant items.

Taking downn unsv funnel of any type and size but Supply and fixing in repair GI funnels for earthing complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down broken pcc block of any type and size but Supply & lay PCC block of size 150 x 150 x 150mm in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 with 20mm graded aggregate for fixing of roof conductor/air termination rod/GI strip etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Powder Earthing Backfill Compound, Grade Standard for improvement earthing resistivity and to increase the absorption of moisture around the earthing electrode complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for magnesium sulphate (MgSO4) for improvement earthing resistivity complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Brazing of copper/Aluminium/GI strip for continuity complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down and refixing of existing aluminium strip 25x3 mm by brazing at each joints between strip including saddle/insulator/PCC block where required complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down unsv chamber of any type and size but Material and labour for earthing chamber of size 0.45 x 0.45x 0.45 m and 150 mm thick by PCC 1:3:6 type C1 with 20 mm graded stone chamber with RCC 1:2:4 type B1 in cover slab complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down unsv chamber cover of any type and size but Material and labour for earthing chamber cover of size 0.45 x 0.45x .04 m with RCC 1:2:4 type B1 with 20 mm graded stone complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down unsv CI cover of any type and size but Supply and fixing of CI pit cover of suitable of suitable size for existing earthing pit complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for fixing earth indicators made out of 3 mm thick MS sheet of size 200mm x 300mm duly fixed in MS angle iron 25mmx25mm of 450 mm long to be fixed to ground by means and including neceaary cement concrete and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete, writing earth reading and connected items like palnting of panel etc, and necessary excavation and earth work including taking down old complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting chassis in brick surfaces n. exc. 10cm girth for concealed conduit wiring and making good the surface to match the adjoining surfaces.

Material and labour for Testing of earth resistance value from earthing pit test terminal point and write in/ on existing identification board complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) The contractor has to provide his own testing kit and all connected items for Earth resistance checking complete.
