REPAIRS TO STRUCTURAL MEMBER, RCC WORK, EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL PLASTERING AND PERIODICAL SERVICES TO CERTAIN MD AND OTM ACCN IN AREA-IV OF AGE B/R (WEST) UNDER GE (WEST) COLABA, MUMBAI

Identifying and marking carefully the damaged reinforced concrete by tapping with light hammer and chipping of unsound weak concrete and plaster material from slab/beams/columns etc. with power/hand driven chisel as directed by the engineer-in-charge n.exc 40mm average depth including saw-cutting of all edges making square shoulders of the cavities all as specified and as directed. (All loose unsound and cracked concrete shall be removed out side MD land) (Note: thickness shall be measured excluding plaster).

Cleaning loose concrete if any all around reinforcement including from behind the reinforcing bars to give an average 10 mm thick (but not less than 10 mm clear air gap) and cleaning reinforcement of total rust using alkaline rust remover with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washed with water and allowing it to dry and Applying two coats of epoxy based passivating, protecting & bonding coat of zinc rich system (Nitozinc (R) primer of Fosroc and equivalent of SIKA/Dr Fixit Pidilite/ Krishna Conchem) as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge for old and new reinforcement any dia, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips and including welding has to be done with minimum 20 cm over lap for new and old of any height, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for mild steel TMT bars upto 10mm dia in stirrups, spaces and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required, incl cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and incl mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and placing in position micro-concrete, grade M-40, which shall be cement based prepacked single component, chloride free, non-shrink, free flow, self compacting, ready to use after mixing water in specified proportion, obtained from Fosroc / SIKA / BASF/ Dr Fixit, thickness of section upto 75 mm, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in charge. (Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding/tapping with a blunt metal instrument and including necessary form work).

M & L for removing plants including roots by dismantling of brickwork/PCC including necessary scaffolding of any type and in any position or location i.e roof, parapet walls near pipes etc and applying acid after removing roots for preventing the re-growth & making good of disturbed portion using PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 & 10mm thick cement plaster in CM (1:3), size of disturbed portion not execeeding 150mm X150mm X 200mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for filling cracks by cutting 'V' groove cracks of internal or external plaster of walls, ceilings/Chajjas all along the crack upto 10 mm and remove the loose plaster/concrete by suitable tools, filling cracks with crack paste compound and apply the second coat after 10-12 hrs of application of first coat and for external application must be coated with paint including necessary scafolding of any hieght, complete all as specifed and direcetd. Make : Use of Dr Fixit Crack 'X' shrinkfree paste compound/ Smartcare Texture Crack Filler / Build Core Compound / Fosroc Compound, as approved by GE.

M&L for cleaning all loose laitance on the wall and concrete substrate and applying one coat of epoxy bonding agent of SBR latex on exposed concrete surface to ensure bond between old concrete & new concrete by brush application including scafolding at any height , complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Dr. Fixit epoxy bonding agent or Shalicrete URP of STP Ltd or Nerolac perma SBR latex.

S & F Hard drawn steel wire fabric cut to lengths, bent to shape required and tying with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm in dia supplied not exceeding 4kg per sqm. and fixed in reinforcement or by anchroring on wall screw min 8 -10 cm in depth drilled and grout into the required wall and concrete structure, complete all as specified and as directed.
