Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of On-line, non-chemical Water Treatment Scale Preventor system / device in the existing condenser pipeline, compatible with the size of pipe and flow of water including making modifications in the existing pipe (cutting as per size, welding, flange fixing, gasketing, etc.). The device shall be modular and be able to prevent the formation of scale inside the condenser pipe due to hard water, the inner core of the device shall be able to convert the hardness causing salts into colloidal particles without drawing any external electrical power, body of the unit shall be made of SS 304 or higher grade, etc. complete as required for the following capacity chiller units. a] Defect Liability Period (DLP) is one year after commissioning. 'b] Contractor shall have to monitor the performance of the Scale Preventer device quarterly basis upto 5 years beyond DLP c] Every alternate month (but from March to October every year) recirculated water of the cooling tower shall have to be collected by OEM Engineers (authorised technical person) and will have to be tested from Govt approved Lab to check pH and conductivity. A computer simulation report shall be submitted after every water test reports for evaluating performance. d] Cooling tower shall have to be inspected for sludge formation (colloid particle) and will have to be cleaned by the contractor with the help of the operator. e] The above activities shall have to be carried out by the Contractor upto 6 years after commissioning. f] 30% of the tendered amount shall be retained as Security for Performance which shall be released yearwise proportionately after post-installation compliances as above.
