Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd., (KPCL) herein after called the Corporation has invited Bids for the scope of work detailed in this accompanying Specification.

The Executive Engineer (MSP)Jog, Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd., Jogfalls, Sagar Tq, Shivamogga Dist Karnataka, or his authorized representative will receive bids in respect of equipment to be supplied and erected at site as set forth in the accompanying specification. All bids shall be prepared and submitted in accordance with the bid instructions.

Bids will not be accepted after the time and date fixed for receipt as set forth in the bid notification or subsequent extensions

The Corporation at its discretion may extend due date for the submission of bids and / or may amend the Bid documents in which case all rights and obligation of Corporation and Bidders for the previous due date will thereafter be subject to the extended due date notified by the Corporation in KPPP- portal.

The Corporation does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any bid and reserves the right to select from any bids, only such equipment, and services as may be considered expedient to accept.

No enhancement of rates once accepted will be considered during the currency of contract, except as provided.

In the matter of dispute regarding the conformity of supplies with the approved quality and / or the performance of the contract, the decision of the Corporation is final.

The Corporation reserves the right to accept any or reject any/or all the bids without assigning any reason thereof.

Bid not covering the entire scope of work may be treated as incomplete and hence liable to be rejected as per terms of Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurement (KTPP) acts.

Past Experience

The bidder shall be a regular manufacturer/ supplier/ Service Provider of Smoke Detection & Fire Alarm Systems and Burglar Alarm system and shall have proven experience in the field of supply, installation, testing and commissioning or AMC of Smoke Detection & Fire Alarm Systems and Burglar Alarm system. In proof of the above, Work order copies of at least one single work of value not less than Rs 1.1 Lakhs issued from competent authority/reputed firm and corresponding work done/ performance certificates shall be furnished in the preceding five years. Scanned copy of the same shall be uploaded by the bidder in KPPP portal.

Financial Status

The bidders during last five financial years should have achieved, in that at least 2 financial years an average turnover of Rs 2.10 Lakh. In proof, annual report/ turnover certificate/ profit & loss statement duly certified by Chartered accountant shall be furnished. Scanned copy of the same shall be uploaded by the bidder in KPPP portal.
