Excavation in foundation trenches upto all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing or pumping out water, blasting soft / hard rock or chieselling soft/ hard rock where blasting is prohibited, in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, levelling of beds to correct grade including, shoring, strutting, planking, timbering and dewatering, wherever required, stacking the useable and unuseable material/ soil separately and after laying, jointing and testing of pipes returing the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm ( Fifteen centimeter ) layers including consolidating of such deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil / un-useable materials as directed within all leads and lifts including restoration of un-metalled surface to its original condition and including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respect within all leads and lifts and to the entire satisfaction as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 (1cement: 4 sand: 8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinths in all leads and lift and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge

1st.class brick work using common burnt clay building bricks in foundation and plinth in cement mortor 1:4 (1cement :4 sand) in all lead and lifts and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4(1cement:2 sand: 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) laid in one layer finished with a floating coat of neat cement within all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 50mm thick.

Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of Galvanized MSERW flanged pipes conforming to IS/ISO 3183-2007 Grade L-210 or A as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 5 m-7m. The pipes end shall be bevelled suitable for butt welding. The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints as per table below conforming to IS 6392-1971 ( Latest upto date amendments ) and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS: 816-1965 with electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S nuts and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fibre jointing geskets sheet not less than 3 mm thick as per IS; 2712-1965. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in three layers(Two inner & one outer) to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer - in -charge. The laying of pipes should be conformed to IS: 5822-1994 ( Earth work in trenches, M.S. flanges and butt welded joint to be mensured and paid sepretely) The pipe shall have Zinc coating as per IS 4736 in factory latest with up to date ammendements.Pipe shall be coated from both side (Inside) or outer side with the required thickness of zinc coating .

Providing, welding and fixing of MS flanges conforming to table as specified below of BIS code 6392-1971( Latest with upto date ammendments) welding of M.S. flanges on ( Two layers on inner face and one layer on outer face of each flange) with GMS pipes and bends on both ends. ( The GMS pipe to be measured and paid for separately. ) The welding of flanges should conforming to IS 816-1998 with electrodes as per IS 814-1997, Prov.& fixed with nuts, bolts of required size conforming to IS 1364, including providing & fixing 3 mm (Minimum) thick compressed asbestos fibre / synthetic rubber gasket conforming relevant BIS Code IS 2712-1965 in trenches complete in all respect and including entire carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the direct1on of the Engineer-in-Charge

Supply of submersible pumping set of reputed make such as KSB/ Calama / BS/ Worthigton / Groundfos/ LUBI /Hindustan/ Sabar/Seerex/Johnston / Amrut, confirming to latest relevent BIS . The pump should be fitted with free fine impellers of suitable alloys as per BIS ; 5659-1978 with upto date amendments, suitable for raw / clear water having greased packed bearing and shell with wound stator on motor side and with shaft protection on pump side ensuring better life for shaft conforming to BIS specifications. The pump shall be directly coupled to submersible motor of same as that of offered submersible pump make confirming to BIS ; 9283-1979 with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible pump, duly isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed, lubricated bearing and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to withstand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to make up expantion of water with heating of motor. Lowering of GMS Column pipefor assembly 125 mm dia including MS flanges' of Table 17 as per IS : 6392-1971 with upto date amendments, rubber/asbestos gasket of min. 3mm thickness as per IS 2712-1979 and required numbers of nuts and bolts as per IS ;1364-1983 . The Column pipe shall be as per relevent IS Code and to withstand 1.50 times total head stipulated under item No. 12.02.
