SPECIAL REPAIRS TO PARADE GROUND OF AOC CENTRE UNDER AGE B/R (SOUTH) NO. II OF GE (SOUTH) SECUNDERABAD.

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying a tack coat @ 5 Kg/ 10 Sqm , putting in premixed bituminous macadam , well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg / 10 m2 ,blinded with 0.09 m3 of stone chippings 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam ,binder and chippings ) depth of holes exceeding 30mm complete all as specfied and directed.

M & L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. Sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2- 0.3 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam using paving bitumen any penetration @ 4% by weight of total mix laid/rolled with power road roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 30mm (consolidated thickness) in single layer using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 with 5.5% minimum binder content mixed by weight of total mix as wearing course, using hot mix plant and laid by using mechanical sensor paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified. Note: No Extra payment shall be paid to the contractor for more quantity of bitumen than mentioned in Sch 'A'.

M&L for applying thermoplastic road marking paint (reflective) of specified shade or colour, 2.5 mm thick not exceeding 10cm width with glass beeds 250 gm/sqm including layout of centre line, dashes, arrows, speed breakers, writting letters etc, using hot thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispencer propane tank heater and profile shoe heater driven by experienced operator, on road surface made free of all dirt, scales oil grease, foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed.
