M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation concrete, mass concrete etc.

Construction of valve chamber of size 120 x 120 x 120 cm (internal dimensions) with the following specifications :-

(i) 15cm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using stone aggregate) as in foundation concrete.

(ii) PCC solid block masonry 200mm thick using grade C-5 block in CM 1:6

(iii) Rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 finished even and fair.

(iv) PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping.

(v) 3mm thick MS sheet cover alongwith MS angle iron frame 40 x 40x6 mm duly embedded in coping concrete with necessary locking arrangement.

Earthing complete with copper plate 60×60cm ×3.15mm thick electrode and 25×3mm copper strip as earthing lead, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level,connected by means of brazing at bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of copper all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

M & L bore earthing not less than 250 mm dia 16 feet deep filled with black soil up to 7 feet from bottom complete with galvanized iron pipe 40 mm bore medium grade 3 meter long tapers at bottom & provided 12 mm holes (staggered) at 75 mm centre to centre up to 2.5 meter of length from bottom , burried directly in ground filled with 45 cm alternate layer of chemical magnisium sulphate & salt up to ground levl connected to galvanized iron strip 25 x 3 mm as earthing lead by means of bolt and nut, check nuts and washer of galvanized iron or steel including brazing work and 40mm dia light grade pipe for earth lead protection and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE:-GI earth strip and protection pipe beyond 7.5m will be measured and paid separately)

M&L for main earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit /pipe or fixed to pole or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc of galvanised strip 25x3 mm.

M&L dewatering, cleaning of OH reseviors (by professional agency like Narmada water tank cleaners or equivalent) with high pressure jet to remove all mosses, algae and dirt and removal of dirty water along with sludge machines/industrial vacum cleaners and disposal of the same to a safe distance including scrubing of internal surface by steel wire brush, removing the dirt completely using industrial vaccum cleaners and sterilizing the complete internal surface of the tank by using ISI mark Gd I bleaching powder including repair to vent pipes and providing wire mesh and clamps (to stop ingress of pigeons) complete and marking the date of cleaning by using synthetic enamel paint in white colour over black background and letters of height 40 mm height and 30 mm width complete all as directed including one coat of white wash on the internal surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: If the work is not done upto satisfaction level of concerned JE/AGE (E/M), the work will be redone upto required level without any extra cost.
