GE/CHM-84/2026-2027 REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT AND CONNECTED WORKS IN SECTOR A, JOSHI ENCLAVE, FAFA AND PINE MARG UNDER AGE B/R I AT CHANDIMANDIR

Dismantling of existing brick tiles or terracing tiles single layer on roof grouted in cement mortar including removal of any existing treatment complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of mud Phuska in roofs, any thickness incl plastering and leeping etc (whether full thickness removed or only a part thereof) complete all as specified & directed.

Removal of excavated material outside MoD land not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point , complete all as specified and directed.

40mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5m graded crushed stone aggregate) as in roof padding, finished fair and even without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

10mm thick rendering in Cement and Sand mortar 1:4 over roof slab finished even and fair mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified. Note : WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only integral water proofing compound (ISI Marked) complete all as specified & directed.

Roof treatment with water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed. Make: Pidilite/ Fosroc/Asian Roof With Sound Brick Bat Coba / China Mosaic/ Ceramic Tile & Concrete Screed IPS Having Proper Slope Area. Dr. Fixit Wonderproof 100 - primer less and hybrid urethane elastomeric waterproofing coating. Roof treatment with WPC will be divided into following stages as under and will be certified by technical rep of company whether the stages completed are as per manufacturer’s instruction and finally passed by Engr-in-Charge/GE:-

Surface Preparation: All loose and de-bonded concrete/ screed, grass, roots, loose particles, dirt & shall be removed. Roof substrates must be pressure-washed with water with a minimum working pressure of 1,400 psi to be used to and/or remove all dirt, dust, chalking and waste products. Remove algae, mold by using bleach solution or biowash.

Crack Repair: All visible hairline cracks on concrete roof screed more than 0.50 mm and not giving hollow sound, should be cut and widen in V shape with mechanical cutter in the size (8mm W x 6mm D). any filling of cracks with Dr. Fixit PU sealant / Hybrid Sealant with suitable gun and smoothed with a putty knife or trowel. Allow sealant to cure a minimum (72 Hrs.) 3 days.

Screed Repair: Remove loose and damaged concrete roof screed in pockets with mechanical cutter. Clean the concrete screed with high pressure water jet to remove dirt and loose particles. brush apply a bond coat of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP mix in the ratio of 1:1 (URP 1: Cement 1) by volume to make it lump free slurry when applied on in the pre wet surface. laying of fall roof screed in correct slope and gradient. Mix Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP 10% by weight of cement in (M20) concrete in ratio of 1:1.5:3 i.e., one bag of 50kg cements: 1.5 times volume of sand: 3 times volume of aggregates: 25L water per cum of concrete. Level the repair mortar and finish with trowel. Moist cureof screed should be done for 7days. followed by Air curing screed for 4-5 days, before application of roof treatment.
