Excavation in foundations, trenches etc. in all kinds of earth work including spade work, pick work, jumper work blasting work including where blasting is prohibited and chiselling/ wedging out of rock etc. upto all lifts stacking the excavated soil not more than 3meters clear from the edge of the excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm layer when required into plinths, sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth within all leads and lifts as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of centring and shuttering including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts in foundations and plinth.

Providing form work with steel plates 3.15mm thick welded with angle iron in frame 30X30X5mm so as to give a fair finish including centring shuttering, strutting and propping etc. with wooden battens and ballies, height of propping and centring below supporting floor to ceiling in all heights in all floors and removal of the same for in-situ reinforced concrete and plain concrete work in foundation, footings basis of columns etc. and mass concrete including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement:2 sand :4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts in foundation and plinth.

Providing and laying cement concrete work 1:1½:3(one cement:one & half sand:three graded stone aggregate 20mm(twenty milimetre) nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work including mixing & Vibrating charges and reinforcement for reinforced concrete work including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge:- Foundation footings bases of columns and the like and mass concrete.

Providing mild steel/Tor steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including bending, binding and placing in position complete upto floor all level complete including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts:-Tor Steel.

Providing and laying precast pre-polished 25mm thick checquered tiles hydraulic compressed/polished of NTC make or equivalent of approved shade & patterrn in flooring/treads of steps not exceeding 30 cm in width on a bed of 25 mm average thickness of cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement :6 sand) jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of tiles (wherever required) complete with tiles of medium shades.including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.

Steel work welded in built up sections including hollow section, trusses and framed work, including cutting hoisting fixing in position and applying a priming coat of red lead paint including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts :- (a) In beams, joists, channels, angles, tees, flat with connecting plates, angles cleats, as in main and cross beams, hips, jack rafters, purlins connected to common rafter and the like including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts

In gratings, framed, guards, bars ladders and railing, brackets and similar works.

Providing and fixing moulded hand rail of M.S. hollow pipe 50mm dia welded in straight lenght over M.S. flat at top of vertical balusters including one coat of red oxide priming coat complete (M.S. flat and balusters of railings shall be mesaured and paid separetely including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.

Painting two coats (excluding priming coat) on new steel and other metal surfaces with enamel paint to give an even shade including cleaning the surface of dirt, dust and other foreign matter, sand papering and stopping including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts in With enamel paint other than white paint.

Disposal of excavated earth by Mechanical means on approved dumping site of M.C. Shimla or on arranged by the contractor. i.e. through all mode of transportation including head load animal load or mechanical means alongwith transportation of the unuseful material for disposing including payment of prescribed charges of dumping to the owener of dumping site through all modes of transporation including head load animal load or mechanical means alongwith its levelling, fine dressing and to complete the work by mechanized means and labour(if any required) All useful materials such as stones, aggregate and slates shall be sorted out and stacked along roads side any loss of the public/private property during the courses of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dully compensated by him in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge .
