Immediate measures for installation of Geo-Tube Apron in borrow pit channel at Jugisuti (from Ch. 9700m to Ch. 10070m) of B/Dyke from Sissikalghar to Tekeliphuta to prevent from flood devastation of river Brahmaputra under SDRF for 2019-20

Earth work in embankment by Tractor-trailer carriage in locally available ordinary soil excluding rocky soil free from roots & vegetation and filling in uniform layers not exceeding 22 cm. thick including ploughing or roughening or benching the seats, removing all debris, breaking clods up to 2.5 cm cube, dressing as per design section including payment of forest royalty if any, etc. complete as directed. (10% deduction will be made from the section measured quantities of the completed and compacted earth work on account of shrinkage)

Earth work in filling by mechanical means including rammimg means by deploying hydraulic excavator and trippers etc. with locally available ordinary soil excluding rocky soil with all lead and lift, transporting to site, spreading, dressing as per design section including ploughing or roughening or benching the seats, removing all debris, breaking clods up to 2.5cm cube, payment of forest royalty if any, etc. complete as directed. (10% deduction will be made from the section measured quantities of the completed and compacted earth work on account of shrinkage)

Supply of woven Geo-textile Tube (Mega containers) of filled height 0.9m made of geo-textile with minimum properties as mentioned belowi) Tensile strength of geo-textile materials >65KN/m in both directions ii) O95 (Pore size) of the geotextile materials < 180 microns, iii) Seam strength > 70% of the materials tensile strength, iv) Elongation of the material at the ultimate tensile strength should not be 65% for v) CBR Brust strength > 10.5, vi) Abrasion resistance (BAW Rotating Drum) > 75% of strength retained, vii) UV Resistance (ASTMD 4355-500 Hrs) > 80% of strength retained. (Including all taxes) (a) 10.00m lenght .

Filling of Geotubes : excavation of specified sand/silt from flood plain or adjacent chars within a distance of 1000m of the work site,and filling of geo tubes of size 0.90x3.20m with sand using sand pump ,stitching the mouth of the filled geo tubes with polypropylene or polyster thread by power driven double needle machine as per drawing and technical specification , placing the same in apron including all lead and lifts etc.complete as directed.
