REPAIR/MAINT OF CONNECTING ROADS AND OTHER LOCATIONS IN TECH AREA AT AFS GWALIOR

M&L for repair to potholes , n exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring, sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc , Cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5kg per 10 sqm VG-10, putting in premixed bituminous macadam using 4% binder paving bitumen VG 30 well rammed with power roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing mud, dust etc and sweeping with brooms, fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen VG-10 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content of Paving Bitumen VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient complete as in semi dense asphaltic concret mixed in hot mix plant using design mix and laid by mechanical paver finisher, well rammed with power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for SCARIFYING BITUMINOUS SURFACE in area not exc 400 sqm for depth exc 50mm deep and n.exc 100mm deep and removal from site at a distance exc 500m but n exc 1000m complete all as specified and directed..

M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing mud, dust etc and sweeping, fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen VG -10 complete on water bound macadam surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying and compacting 75mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specification for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with wate to a dense mass , spreading with mechanical paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-1 OOKN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. The finished surface tolerance to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content of Paving Bitumen VG-30 content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using power roller of capacity 8 to 12 tonne complete as in semi dense asphaltic concrete mixed in hot mix plant using design mix and laid by mechanical paver finisher complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Premix bituminous, macadam laid & rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness not more than 75mm) - Binder content - Paving bitumen VG-30 of 4% of weight of total mix any penetration mixed in hot mix plant and laid by mechanical paver complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of existing bituminous surfaces, removing, dust, dirt grease and other foreign matters etc to receive the marking and M&L for thermo plastic (Reflective) line marking having 2.00 mm thickness (average) of uniform surface finish conforming to BS 3262 (Part 1) 1989 read in conjunction with the MOST specification 803 clause 4.2.2 on bituminous surfaces in white/yelow clour and super imposed with glass beads confirming to BS 6088 read in conjuction with and MOST specification 803 clause 4.3.3 complete all as specified and directed. Note - MOST specification 803 shall be followed strictly for execution of work & suitable machine shall be used for the marking as approved by the GE. Shape & size/ patterns of marking shall be as approved by the GE.
