Material and labour for scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area not exceeding 400sqm and depth exceeding 50mm but not exceeding 100mm complete all as specified and directed.

Screening road metal, Chipping etc on the site of the work when specially ordered, including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and labour for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) of granite, trap or basalt, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber required with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller all as specified.

All as per item No 03 here in before but except materials complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Material obtained from item No 02.00 here in after shall be used.

Material and labour for preparation of unsurfaced WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or compressed air to remove all loose, dirt, etc. and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer @ 10 Kg per 10Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and applying priming coat using paving bitumen @ 10 Kg/10Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or compressed air to remove all loose, dirt, etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for providing bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix with 2 % hydrated lime filler ( As per MORT & H giude line) using mechanical paver with string sensor with marshal stablity 9.0 KN at 60 degree C laid by mechanical paver ,rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to achive uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing premix bituminous macadam with binder (paving bitumen grade VG-30) content @ 4.5 % by weight of total mix with 2 % rock dust filler ( As per MORT & H giude line) using mechanical paver with string sensor with marshal stablity 9.0 KN at 60 degree C laid by mechanical paver of thickness not more than 75mm complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50 m wide and n exc. 1.5 m in depth for foundation, etc, or for shaft, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exc. 10 sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide but depth exceeding 1.50 m and not exceeding 3.0m in depth for foundation, etc, or for shaft, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exc. 10 sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified.

Material and labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation for drain complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded brocken stone aggregate as in concrete bed including packing under haunching against the side side of pipe, filling and mass concrete for hume pipe complete all as specified and directed

Material & Labour for Brickwork with subclass `B' bricks, (locally available best quality) straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in CM 1:6 etc complete all as directed.

Material & Labour for 15mm thick rendering in CM (1:4) in two layers, in top 5mm thick finishing the surfaces with fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for RCC pipe 600mm dia class NP-03 ( As per IS 458:2003) laid and jointed with collars complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of wall and applying three coats of white wash, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed

Removing surplus excavated materials (soils) up to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (Using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling, mass concrete and sub-base etc. complete all as specified and directed .

Material & Labour for PCC M-20(Nominal Mix) using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate in cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, facing courses, parapets and railing upto 60cm in height , coping, kneeier, apex stone bed plates, kerbs, water trough and the like including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and directed

Material & labours for soling (or sub base), 150mm spread thickness with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled with power roller 8 to 10 ton and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and labour for 150mm thick (compacted thickness) water bound macadam (WBM) in two layers each of 75mm thick with coarse aggregates of grading 2(63 to 40 mm size) or of grading 3(50 to 20 mm size) using granite, trap or basalt, spread, rolled with power roller 8 to 10 tonne and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

Bringing approved earth ( as approved by GE) from sourses outside defence land including cost such as royalty if any, transportation, taxes etc for area filling/forming embankments including raising ( any height from EGL) lowering by approved earth and including raising earth spreading in layers not exc 30 cm thick, each layer , watering, compaction with 8 to 10 tonee power roller and finished to require size and shape etc and high/depth from EGL. Notes: (i) Required earth for the item shall be supplied by contractor from outside MOD land of any lead at his own arrangement. (ii) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation, compaction, royalties, tax etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) With reference to clause 3.6 of MES Schedule Part II serial page no 21, it is clarified that measurement of the above item shall be finished embankment/traverse of filled earth after consolidation/compaction, 5% deduction shall be made from measured and calulated volume to allow for increase in bulk. (iv) Total quantity of earth may not be available in Narangi Area, The contractor shall bring the earth outside area and it is advised to quoted the rate considering availibity of soil and its lead involved.
