Mel for painting of exposed brick surface including surface preparation by hand operated or power operated tools i.e scrappers, wire brushes, sand papers, pumice stone etc. Painting should be done in two coats of thickness of 100 microns each by anti corrosive bituminous black paint tank mastic 100 or similar conforming to IS:9862 as approved by Engr-in-charge @2.50 ltr/10 sqm with interval of 8 hrs between two coats. The rate as inclusive of all contractors own labour, materials, tools and plants, leads, lifts, transportation, taxes, octroi etc complete as per approved drawing and as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

S & F for extra for addition of polymerised acrylic polymer with 47% solid content shalicrete 47 of STP or similar make as approved by engr-in-charge in cement plaster/mortar in weight ratio of 50:5 for cement and polymerised acrylic polymer used in cement mortar as per directions of Engr-in-Charge.

M& l application &finishing with UV resistant elastomeric anti-carbonation exterior acrylic wpt coating with 2 coats of shalicryl ( R) 215 of M/S STP ltd or similar as approved by Engr-in-charge @3.08 ltr/10 sqm at all locations & levels, prepared and applied as per manufacturers specifications including preparation of surface by filling of pin holes with cement putty, honey combing, grinding of edges (if required any) etc. complete. grinding of excess loose materials in grooves of segment joint and filling of putty in these grooves to make the entire span length monolithic.
