| 1.01 | PU CONCRETE FLOORING
SUPPLY AND APPLICATION OF HIGH-PERFROMANCE PU CONCRETE FLOORING:
Supply and application of high‑performance PU concrete flooring (Ucrete) of minimum 3 mm finished thickness over existing concrete surfaces, complete in all respects, including the following sequential operations:
1. Surface Preparation
Mechanical surface preparation of existing concrete surface by mechanical scarification, groove cutting, and thorough cleaning to remove all dust, dirt, laitance, grease, oil and loose particles, ensuring a sound, clean, and contamination-free substrate. All exisitng cracks, holes, grooves and other surface defects shall be properly filled and repaired using compatible Ucrete repair material.
2. Scratch Coat
Application of a scratch coat of PU Concrete of 1 mm thickness shall be carried out. This shall be followed by an aggregate broadcasting process to ensure proper bonding and surface strength. allow to dry as per manufacturer specification.
3. Final Top Coat
The final coat of PU Concrete shall be applied to a thickness of 2 mm. allow to dry per manufacturer specification.
The system shall be prepared by properly mixing base resin, hardener, colour paste, and aggregates as per manufacturer’s specifications to achieve a durable and high‑performance finished floor.
Technical Properties :
Compressive Strength: ≥ 40 MPa (ASTM D695)
Shore D Hardness: ≥70 (ASTM D2240)
Abrasion Resistance: ≤ 50 mg (Taber Abrasion Test, CS‑17 wheel, 1 kg load, 1000 cycles, ASTM D4060)
Note: Vendor shall submit test certificates from NABL accredited laboratory or Institute recognised by Government of India. | 230 | Sq.Meter | - | - |
| 1.02 | DI-ELECTRIC EPOXY FLOORING
SUPPLY AND APPLICATION OF HIGH-PERFORMANCE DI-ELECTRIC EPOXY FLOORING:
Supply and application of high‑performance dielectric epoxy flooring of minimum 3.0 mm finished thickness over existing concrete surfaces, complete in all respects, including the following sequential operations:
1. Surface Preparation
Mechanical surface preparation of existing concrete by grinding / shot‑blasting as required to remove laitance, loose particles, oil, grease, dirt, and contaminants, to achieve a clean, dry, sound, and suitably profiled substrate, in accordance with manufacturer’s specification. Any defects, cracks, or grooves shall be filled and repaired using compatible Ucrete repair material.
2. Primer Coat
Application of epoxy primer coat by thoroughly mixing base and hardener in the specified ratio as per manufacturer’s technical data sheet, to ensure proper adhesion with the concrete substrate. Allow it to dry as per manufacturer's specification.
3. Screed Coat
Application of epoxy screed coat by mixing epoxy base, hardener, and graded aggregates as per manufacturer’s specifications, laid to achieve the required thickness and mechanical strength. Broadcasting of aggregates over the screed coat shall be carried out as per manufacturer’s specification. Allow it to dry as per manufacturer's specification.
4. Sealer Coat
Application of epoxy sealer coat over the cured screed layer to seal surface porosity and prepare the surface for the final finish. Allow it to dry as per manufacturer's specification.
5. Final Dielectric Top Coat
Application of high‑performance dielectric epoxy top coat by mixing base resin, hardener, colour paste, and aggregates strictly as per manufacturer’s specifications, to obtain a uniform, durable, electrically insulating finish. Allow it to dry as per manufacturer's specification.
Note: The dielectric epoxy top coat material shall be tested and certified by ERDA / NABL and shall have AC electric strength of more than 6.6 kV at the Top coat. A valid test certificate shall be submitted, clearly indicating the Flooring / coating material is suitable for more than 6.6 kV AC. | 230 | Sq.Meter | - | - |
| 2.01 | EPOXY-BASED CONCRETE REPAIR MATERAIL
SUPPLY AND APPLICATION OF EPOXY-BASED CONCRETE REPAIR MATERIAL :
Epoxy‑based concrete repair material shall be supplied and applied for the repair of existing defects, cracks, and grooves on the concrete surface over which flooring is to be installed. The repair material shall be a three‑component system consisting of epoxy resin, hardener, and specially formulated fillers. All identified defects shall be properly prepared, filled, and rectified using this epoxy‑based concrete repair material in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. Allow it to dry as per manufacturer's specification.
Technical Properties :
COMPRESSIVESTRENGTH ≥ 50 MPA (ASTM D 695)
Shore D Hardness ≥ 55 (ASTM D2240)
Unit of Measurement: kg (considering that a crack of 2‑inch width, 2 mm depth, and 20 m length shall consume approximately 6 kg of epoxy‑based concrete repair material).
Note: Vendor shall submit test certificates from NABL accredited laboratory or Institute recognised by Government of India. | 50 | kg | - | - |
| 2.02 | CLOD ROAD MARKING COATING
SUPPLY and APPLICATION OF COLD ROAD MARKING COATING:
A 4 inch width yellow marking on Top coat of Dielectric Epoxy / PU concrete as per SCC, scope of work and instruction of EIC.
Unit of measurement: Running meter of 4" wide marking strip (Each running meter of 4" marking is equivalent to 0.1 Sq.M of area) | 500 | METER | - | - |
