Fabrication installation testing and commissioning of 2no.s new gates on Ranbir canal and its distributaries falling under the jurisdiction of MISD-1 Jammu.

Gate of Distributory Tirlokpur minor of size (2’6”X 6’)

Fabrication of gate leaf of size (2-6 X 6) ft using ISMC channel of 75X40 mm size with requisite no. of cross members for proper support and outside frame of ISMC channel of 75X40 mm size for supporting smooth vertical movement of gate leaf by way of cutting/welding using superior quality electrodes. Providing and then welding the MS sheet of 6mm thickness on the frame of channel structure and finishing the gate structure. Also making of provision for stem rod attachment with 2no.s L-shaped MS Clamps. Providing/fixing of seal of size as per required match on bottom of leaf frame by way of nut bolts or MS flat for securing the seal with the leaf. Job includes fabrication providing and fitting at site of hoisting channel-02 no.s fabricated out of MS Channel 100x50 mm of approx length 4’5” and proper anchoring in the PCC. Fabrication, providing & fitting of 03 Ton capacity manually operated, worm gear type winch machine along with base plate of 6mm thickness of suitable size and one stem rod duly threaded along its length for up down movement of the gate and then oiling and greasing the gear mechanism/stem rod before fitting. Job also includes drilling of holes on top hoisting channels, L-clamps, base plate for fixing winch machine and stem rod. Complete painting of gate structure and the winch machine by way of providing two coats of superior quality paint after applying one coat of red oxide primer. Loading the gate structure along with winch machine on the mechanical transport for carrying to site of installation at Tirlokpur Khul. Installation of gate structure by way of lowering the leaf structure into the sliding grooves using manual labour tools and tackles using chain pulley block and tripod. Connecting the stem rod to the leaf structure after ensuring the proper alignment/gravity of the gate structure. Job includes grouting of the M.S frame/channels by way of concrete work wherever necessary as per site conditions. Also providing of operating lever for gate operation. Checking of the gate for smooth operation at site. Complete job includes charges of hydraulic crane, cost of material, transportation charges, labour charges and testing for its smooth operation at site.

Gate of RD 27000 on Main Ranbir Canal of size (5’X 6’).
