| 1 | Providing and fixing linear metal false ceiling comprising 150 mm wide × 17 mm deep × 0.50 mm thick galvanized steel plain panels in lengths up to 5.0 m, manufactured from coil-coated steel on a continuous paint line, chromatized for maximum paint adhesion, double enamelled under high temperature, with exposed face having primer and finish coat of minimum 20 microns thickness and reverse face having primer and skin coat; including panel couplers wherever required. The ceiling system shall be suspended from roof/truss using 20 mm × 20 mm suspension angles and 1.20 mm thick galvanized steel T-levellers for height adjustment at spacing not exceeding 1.0 m centre-to-centre. The panels shall be fixed on roll-formed galvanized steel carriers of size 34.5 mm wide × 48 mm deep, fabricated from 0.60 mm thick galvanized steel strip, supplied in standard lengths of 2.44 m, black stove-enamelled/spray-painted, including carrier couplers for joining carriers. The work shall also include L-shaped edge profiles roll-formed from 0.50 mm thick galvanized steel strips, coil-coated/powder-coated in standard colours, complete with all fixtures, fasteners, suspension members, accessories, cutting, making good, and all operations necessary for proper installation, complete in all respects and as directed.
Note : The area shall be measured on the finished ceiling surface in square metres.
