Notes for all items :- i) The height of ceiling / roof is 20 m above floor level, ii) Necessary arrangements to carryout works of connected items shall be arranged by Contractor and his quoted rates of connected items shall be inclusive of these factors. Nothing extra will be paid by Govt on account of any misunderstanding by the Contractor.

Taking down unserviceable sub main wiring, supply and fixing Sub main wiring using FRLS grade PVC insulated unsheathed, 1100 volts grade, multi stranded copper conductor cable, 2 runs of single core of size 2.5 Sq mm and one run of earth continuity conductor of size 2.5 Sq mm to be drawn through existing concealed / surface conduit, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: - Two runs of 2.5 sq.mm cable, one run of 2.5 sq mm earth wire shall be measured as one length.

NOTE: - Four runs of 6 sq.mm cable, two runs of 6 sq mm earth wire and one run of PVC conduit shall be measured as one length.

Notes for Sl item Nos 1 to 5 :- Cutting / grooving / chiselling required as applicable for taking out concealed wiring will be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Cutting chases, pinning in, where required for concealed conduit wiring, and making good disturbed surfaces to match with adjacent surfaces including pointing in cement mortar 1:3, girth not exceeding 15 cm on brick / PCC block masonry / concrete surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down unserviceable high bay light fittings of any type / wattage from existing position / height, Supply, installation, Testing and Commissioning of 150W LED Highbay. Notes : i) All unused modules shall be provided with blanking plate for which the cost is deemed to be included in the cost of MCB DBs. ii) MCB/ Isolators will be measured and paid separately as supply and fix under respecitve items.

Dismantling corroded MS clamps, angle iron supports, etc., and providing Material and labour, for mild steel, Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint, complete all as specfied and as directed.

Demolishing old earthing pit, and providing new earthing pit with Material and Labour for earthing Complete with GI earth platee electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 M deep below normal ground level and complete earth plate connected to GI wire 4 mm by brazing only earth strip protected with light grade GI Pipe 15 mm dia bore from earth plate electrode and upto in and including the earth test point including 20mm bore water pipe medium grade GI Tubing including GI Funnel,wire mesh. alternate 5 layers of charcoal & salt crystal and removal of the excavated soil and depositing at the place where directed,PCC Pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate , RCC (m) Cover 40 mm thick in RCC (1:2:4) type B 1 using 20 mm grade aggregate reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 7.5 mm c/c both ways including RCC Pit Cover etc watering the earth pit to acheive earth resistance below 02 Ohm incl testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES :- (i) GI wire 4 mm,GI Tubing 15 mm light grade upto 7.5 mtr deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor. (ii) Earth pit shall be constructed at least 0.5 metre away from each earth chamber.

Supply, fixing, drawn GI wire 4 mm in GI pipe 15 mm pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engr - in -charge.

Supply and fix GI pipe light grade 15 mm dia including fixing on walls, roof / laid on floors, ground etc with all fittings for GI Wire protection all as specified and as directed by Engr - in -charge.

Checking of Copper/GI strip/GI wire earthings, of any type near all buildings, using all safety methods carefully, tightening of all earthing connections, pouring water in the earth pits throgh earth pit funnel properly, testing of earthing pit using earth tester after 24 hrs of water pouring (The arrangement of water and earth tester is the responsibility of contractor), applying white wash to earth pit, marking on exposed surfaces the date of earth result checked, earthing pit pertains to which equipment, reading observed in ohms, and also entering the earth test details in a register duly signed by electrician in all respects complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE : 1) The job shall be paid twice in the contract period with an interval of Six months periodcity. 2) Earth work, demolition of PCC, PCC new work, RCC earth pit cover and GI strip as applicable shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item.

Demolition old / damaged concrete of any description near existing buildings of any type located at various locations carefully removing from site, and providing material and labour of Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), as in foundation near existing earthings of any type etc making good distrubed portions and match with the adjacent areas in all respects as per site conditions complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour, for Pre-cast Reinforced Cement Concrete, (1:2:4), type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in cover slabs of earth pits, etc., set in CM(1:4) complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- Steel for Reinforcement will be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour, for reinforcement of concrete with Mild steel TMT bars of 8 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending, spirally looping for columns, hooking ends & binding with and including mild steel annealed wire of not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified

Taking down old unserviceable / disconnected / broken existing air termination rods complete of any type, material and labour air termination single pointed aluminium rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long complete on building roof in and including PCC block as per site conditions complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down old unserviceable/disconnected/broken building lightning aluminium strip complete of any type / size from existing locations of buildings roof / building top to bottom wall etc along with insulators of any type, providing material and labour for aluminium strip 25 x 3.15 mm with insulators, heavy duty, twin type, fxing screws etc all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolishing old earthing pit, and providing new earthing with, material and labour for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground not less than 2.25 m deep below normal ground level, connecting earth plate to GI strip of size 32 x 6 mm by brazing. Earth strip shall be protected with light grade GI Pipe 50 mm dia bore from earth plate electrode, including 20mm bore water pipe medium grade GI Tubing, GI Funnel, wire mesh, providing alternate 5 layers of charcoal & salt crystal, including excavating in any strata, providing Plain Cement Concrete (1:3:6) type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, RCC Cover slab of 40 mm thick in RCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm grade aggregate) reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 75 mm c/c both ways, watering the earth pit to acheive earth resistance below 02 Ohm, refiling and removal of surplus excavated soil, testing complete all as specified (Electrical Plate No 3 of SSR 2009) and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) GI strip 32 x 6 mm,GI Tubing 50 mm light grade upto 7.5 mtr deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor. (ii) Earth pit shall be constructed at least 0.5 metre away from each earth chamber.

Material and labour GI Earth Strip 32mm X 6mm burried in ground / fixed on wall / floor as per site requirement (beyond 7.5 meter) for lightning arrestor earthings in and including insulators heavy duty fixed on walls as per site conditions complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down existing earth strip and re-fixing properly GI Earth Strip 32mm X 6mm near existing earthings on wall / floor with and including nuts bolts and washers / soldering as per site requirement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix GI pipe light grade 50 mm dia, on walls / floors / ground etc with fittings for protection of GI strip complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour ,Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8 mm dia 25 mm long hexagonal head screw complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
