Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing E - Procurement Portal

As per Karnataka state Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01.01.2007 and Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete manner.

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original, Submit the original document at the time of technical bid opening or next day and the Executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the original documents before approval

If any, additional information required, the same may be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer, PWD, No. 2 Building Division, Bangalore during office hours on all working days. It may be noted that if any of the dates mentioned above happened to be a General Holiday, the next working day will be considered

The employer reserves the rights to Reject or accept any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons

The contractors assessed available tender capacity shall be more than the tender value, it will be calculated as per the Standard tender document Attached. Ongoing works list/commitments self attested to be uploaded.

The Tender processing fee shall not be refundable

Contractor should follow strictly the prevailing rules of labour laws and minimum wages act

The Bidder shall not furnish any fake/fabricated/false information or withhold facts etc., if the bidder is found to have violated any of these above (found either during evaluation or after awarding the tender), the tender shall be rejected and action as per rules and regulations shall be taken against the Bidder

If the Successful Bidder has quoted lesser rates than the estimated rates then he should remit the Unbalanced Tender Amount along with the Security Deposit within the stipulated time as that shall be specified in the Letter of Acceptance, failing which the tender of the Successful Bidder shall be rejected

Bidder Should upload the bid capacity calculated as per KW-1 Tender condition, the statements showing the value of existing commitment and on-going works as well as the stipulated period of completion remaining for each of the works listed should be countersigned by the employer in charge, not below the rank of an Executive Engineer or Equivalent. False representations in the statements leads to disqualification of the tender as per clause 3.1

3.6.Tenderers who meet the above specified minimum qualifying criteria, will only be qualified, if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value. The available tender capacity will be calculated as under: Assessed available tender capacity (AxNx2.5- B) Where A is Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years taking into account the completed as well as works in progress. N is Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which tenders are invited 2 month. B is Value, at 2026-27 price level, of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next 2 month. Note The statements showing the value of existing commitments and on-going works as well as the stipulated period of completion remaining for each of the works listed should be countersigned by the Employer in charge, not below the rank of an Executive Engineer or equivalentch tenders already submitted
