REPAIR AND RESURFACING OF ROAD INCLUDING ROAD BERMS, MARKING, ROAD FURNITURE AND POT HOLES IN POCKET No. 20, 21 AND 22 UNDER AGE BR-I AT GE(A) JAISLAMER

M&L for repair to pot holes of any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm deep unsarfaced water bound macadem surfaces for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate o application of 0. 7-1 kg/sqm on surface o WMM/WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L for Premix bituminous macadam of paving bitumen of VG-30 grade (confirming to IS-732006) with 4% binder content by weight of total mix, any penetration laid /rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) complete rolling to uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 ton power road roller complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparing of existing black top surfaces by brushing with steel wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt, etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.25 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MaRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC), 30 mm thick (consilidated average thickness) in single layer using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 with 5.5% binder content, mixed in hot mix plant using design mix and laid by mechanical paver and rolled and compacted with using 8 to 10 tonne cap vibratory power road roller to achive the required compactness, camber and gradient finished complete including (cutting of edges of roads straight and site clearance) etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Demolition of cement Concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows, etc and the like n exc 10cm wide roads with roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastiv road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine al as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
