PART -A Supply of pre coated sheets and roof accessories

Supply of prepainted Galvalume (PPGL) trapezoidal sheets made of 0.50mm bare metal thickness (BMT), 0.56mm Total Coat thickness (TCT) and YS 550 (min 550 MPA Yield Strength) as per IS 15961, size, shape and profile of the sheet will be decided by EIC. The Galvalume sheet must be metallic coated with Zincalume, AZ200 (min 200gm/m2 on both sides) (Composition - 55% Aluminium, 43.4% Zinc and 1.6 % Silica) prepainted with Super Durable Polyester (SDP) quality paint with stable inorganic pignment with no lead content. The Galvalume sheet shall have total paint coating thickness of 40 microns as 20 microns on exposed top surface and 10 micron reverse polyester coat on bottom surface over 5 micron corrosion inhibitive polyester primer coat on both surfaces of approved color. The Galvalume sheet shall have protective guard film to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 6m or as desired by Engineer in-charge.

Part- B - Installation of pre coated sheets and roof accessories

Fixing of Galvalume sheet (including transportation & lifting arrangment to required height with necessary tools and tackles) using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (min 5.5x 55 mm) of class 4 complying to AS 3566.2 ( coating thickness upto 45 microns) along with aluminium cyclonic plate of thickness min 2.5 mm, width compatible with sheet with EPDM seal washer as per ASTM – D 257, complete upto any pitch of trough or 250(+/-100)mm, whichever is lesser and in longitudinal direction at every runner/purlin location (Max.1.0 -1.2m), excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required:- Upto 20 mts height

Part - C Dismantling of Existing Old & Loose Sheets

Removal of loose cladding/roof sheets at various locations at various heights making safe approach, safety arrangements, tools and tackles required for safe lowering of sheets and disposal to scrap sheets to stores/scrap Yard

Re-Fixing of existing sheet using self drilling / self tapping screws of size ( min 5.5x 55 mm) of class 4 complying to AS 3566 ( coating thickness upto 45 microns) along with cycloinic plate of thickness min 2.5 mm, width compatable with sheet with EPDM seal as per ASTM – D 257 by placing in position. The sheets may be in dislodged position / shifted position which has to be placed in positioned and re-fixed. The arrangment for safe appraoch of the location and fixing the sheet has to be done by the contractor

Part - D: Dismantling of Metal and Cement Sheets

Dismantling roofing of cement sheets including ridges, hips, valleys and gutters etc., with safety arrangement like safety life line, safety net (where ever required), safe lowereing of the sheet in addtion to the basic PPEs and transporting the dismantled sheets to the stores/scrap yard as designated by EIC.

Providing safe access with ladder of suitable length and also making platforms for workers to work safely at all locations such as boiler roof, coal conveyor, esp roof, tg building etc, cutting old screws, dismantling of precoated galvanised iron sheets including ridges, hips, valleys and gutters, etc stacking of dismantled sheets at the nearest floor level and lowering the dismantled sheets to the ground level in a safe manner such as safety lifeline and safety net, and transporting the dismantled sheets to the place designated by EIC:- Upto 15m height

Providing safe access with ladder of suitable length and also making platforms for workers to work safely at all locations such as boiler roof, coal conveyor, esp roof, tg building etc, cutting old screws, dismantling of precoated galvanised iron sheets including ridges, hips, valleys and gutters, etc stacking of dismantled sheets at the nearest floor level and lowering the dismantled sheets to the ground level in a safe manner such as safety lifeline and safety net, and transporting the dismantled sheets to the place designated by EIC:- Extra rate over item no 40.02 for lowering Sheets above 15 mts & upto 35 mts height

Providing safe access with ladder of suitable length and also making platforms for workers to work safely at all locations such as boiler roof, coal conveyor, esp roof, tg building etc, cutting old screws, dismantling of precoated galvanised iron sheets including ridges, hips, valleys and gutters, etc stacking of dismantled sheets at the nearest floor level and lowering the dismantled sheets to the ground level in a safe manner such as safety lifeline and safety net, and transporting the dismantled sheets to the place designated by EIC:- Extra rate over item no 40.02 for lowering Sheets above 35 mts & upto 60 mts height

Providing safe access with ladder of suitable length and also making platforms for workers to work safely at all locations such as boiler roof, coal conveyor, esp roof, tg building etc, cutting old screws, dismantling of precoated galvanised iron sheets including ridges, hips, valleys and gutters, etc stacking of dismantled sheets at the nearest floor level and lowering the dismantled sheets to the ground level in a safe manner such as safety lifeline and safety net, and transporting the dismantled sheets to the place designated by EIC:- Extra rate over item no 40.02 for lowering Sheets above 60 mts & upto 100 mts height

Part - E Painting and structural work

Structural steel work in single section, fixed with or without connecting plate, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete. (Steel will be provided by NTECL)

Dismantling steel work in built up sections in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including dismembering and stacking all scrap materials, regular shifting and transportation to scrap yard / steel yard by the contractor at their own cost. Scraps shall be weighed and accounted through MRN.

Structural steel finishing with polyurethane paint flossy finish (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer’s specifications over an under coat of epoxy paint semi glossy finsih brown , etc. complete.

Part- F Supply and erection of Corrugated cement sheet

Providing reinforced by organic fibres and /or inorganic synthetic fibres cement 6 mm thick corrugated sheets (as per IS: 14871) roofing up to any pitch and fixing with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm dia. and washers complete (excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses), including cutting sheets to size and shape wherever required.

Providing and fixing ridges and hips in fibre cement high impact polypropylene reinforced roofing with suitable fixing accessories or self drilling fastener and EPDM washer etc. complete:- Corrugated serrated adjustable ridges
