SPECIAL REPAIR TO PSS WATER OVERHEAD TANK AT DINJAN AND OUT POCKETS AREA OF DINJAN MIL

M&L for dismantling of existing plate from overhead pressed steel tank of capacity upto 10000 gallons consisting with 52 plate each of size 1.22m x 1.22m x 6mm thick including taking out jointing bolts, nuts, washers etc from over head pressed steel water tank installed at 12 to 15 m high and keeping serviceable and unserviceable plates, bolts & nuts in safe custody for reuse or taken in schedule of credit in the work complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: cost of temporary staging/working platform as required for the above operation is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the bidder.

Supply and fix factory made pressed steel plate of size 1.22m x 1.22m x 6mm thick as per existing design and specification after necessary adjustment, cleaning, washing priming etc and connecting with and including new jointing materials such as lead wool, rubber gasket, bituminous compound etc as required to make the joints perfectly leaf proof and testing for water tightness of the tank complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. (Note: Quoted rate should included price for New lead wool, water grade black putty, gasket, bituminous compound etc as required)

Fixing only serviceable pressed steel platre as retrieved under item No 01 above after necessary repair, adjustment, cleaning, washing etc and connecting with mew jointing materials such as lead wool, rubber gasket, bituminous compound etc as required to make the joints perfectly leaf proof and testing for water tightness of the tank complete as directed the Engr-in-charge. (Note: Quoted rate should included price for New lead wool, water grade black putty, gasket, bituminous compound etc as required)

Dismantling old unserviceable/worm out bracing, supports, cleats, clamp etc as required of pressed steel water tank at staging of 12 to 15 m height including cutting, drilling holes, welding as necessary to suit the site requirement and setting aside for re-use within 50 mtr complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, fabricated and fix the structural steel Fe 410 grade such as Roof trusses (framed), trussed, purling, crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam,tee,angle,channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats etc as required of pressed steel water tank & staging at 12 to 15 m height including cutting, drilling holes, welding as necessary to suit the site requirement complete as directed.

M&L for cleaning external steel surface of existing PS OH tank installed at height of 12 to 15 M height by complete removal of old paints/rust by applying detergent and scrapping/wire brushing/sand papering and washing with clear water and painting of external surface of PS OH tank complete with two coats of aluminum paint over one coat of aluminum red oxide primer including painting of structure/truss for painting is included in the unite rate quoted).

Material and labours for one coat of black japan paint drinking water grade to inner surface of steel water tanks over 10 cm width of girth including preparation of old surfaces of pressed steel plate surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only lead wire aluminum/red or white lead cement as per existing type all as specified and directed.

S & F mild steel screw bolts (machine made), diameter of neck 5 to 10 mm with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, exceeding 5 cm but not exceeding 10 cm long complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling existing worn-out water level indicator from PS over head water tank at 12/15 m high and after necessary repair and fixing of new comprising of steel rope 4mm dia, MS pulley clamps, all as per existing arrangements including 30 cm dia PVC floats, weight etc including marking wth black/white paint and painting with luminous paint showing capacity ranging from 1000 gallons to 10000 gallons all complete as required to suit the site requirement and as directed by the Eng-in-Charge
