PART-I SCAFFOLDING Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of building/structure, up to 30 meter height, above ground level, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 meter centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work of cleaning and/ or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. (2) The payment will be made once only for execution of all items for such works.

Providing, erecting, maintaining and removing temporary protective screens made out of specified fabric with all necessary fixing arrangement to ensure that it remains in position for the work duration as required by the Engineer-in-charge. Wooven PVC cloth

PART-II DISMENTALING / DEMOLISHING WORK Roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar suspended work

Extra for cutting reinforcement bars manually/ by mechanical means in R.C.C. or R.B. work (Payment shall be made on the cross sectional area of R.C.C. or R.B. work) as per direction of Engineerin-charge.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lift involved.

PART-III STRUCTURAL REPAIRS Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.50mm average thickness

Cleaning of exposed concrete surface of sticking material including loose and foreign material by sand blasting with coarse sand followed by and including cleaning with oil free air blast as per direction of Engineer in charge.

Cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. (a) All as above but Bars upto 12 mm diameter

Providing and inserting 12mm dia galvanised steel injection nipple in honey comb area and along crack line including drilling of holes of required diameter (20mm to 30mm) up to depth from 30mm to 80mm at required spacing and making the hole & crack dust free by blowing compressed air, sealing the distance between injection nipple with adhesive chemical of approved make and allow it to cure complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and injecting approved grout in proportion recommended by the manufacturer into cracks/honey-comb area of concrete/ masonry by suitable gun/pump at required pressure including cutting of nipples after curing etc. complete as per directions of Engineerin-Charge. (The payment shall be made on the basis of actual weight of approved grout injected.) (a) All as per item above but Stirrer mixed Acrylic Polymer of approved make @ 2% of weight of cement used) modified Cement slurry made with non shrink compound in concrete/RCC work

(b) All as per item No 11 but Epoxy injection grout in concrete/RCC work of approved make

Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as per specifications and direction of Engineer-In-charge complete in all respect. (a) All as per item above but Epoxy bonding adhesive having coverage 2.20 sqm/kg of approved make

Drilling suitable holes in reinforced or plain cement concrete with power driven drill machine to a minimum depth of 100mm upto 200mm in RCC beams, lintels, columns and slabs to introduce steel bars for sunshades/balconies including fixing the steel bars in position using epoxy resin anchor grout of approved make but excluding the cost of reinforcement, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. (a) All as per above but Upto and including 12mm dia.

TMT steel bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips. (a) All as per item above but Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars (TMT Bars)

Providing and laying SBR Polymer modified (of approved make @ minimum 2% by wt. of cement used) plain/reinforced concrete jacket for the structural members e.g. columns, pillars, piers, beams etc with concrete having the specified minimum characteristic compressive strength [with ordinary portland cement, coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 10mm maximum size in proportion as per design criteria] with specified average thickness all-round existing core of RCC member. Note: Rates shall be for finished surface area of concrete and shall include the cost of making holes in existing RCC slab, if required, for pouring concrete in shuttering mould of jacket and appropriate approved Super-Plasticiser for rendering concrete as flowable self compacting and SBR polymer but shall exclude cost of reinforcement, bond coat, Shear Keys, centering and shuttering, strutting, propping etc (Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding/tapping with a blunt metal instrument). (a) All as per item above 50mm thick in Grade M 25 with cement content not less than 330 kg per cum

Shotcreting R.C.C. columns, beams and slabs etc. in layers with approved design mix concrete having the specified minimum characteristic compressive strength [with ordinary portland cement, coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 10 mm maximum size in proportion as per design criteria] including the cost of centering and shuttering at edges and corners etc. as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Rates shall include the providing necessary ground wires etc. The levelling gauges, if used, shall be paid for separately. Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding/tapping with a blunt metal instrument. (a) All as per item above but 50mm thick in Grade M 25 with cement content not less than 330 kg per cum

Corrosion protection of unexposed old reinforcement on non-spalled concrete by Insertion of sustained release Corrosion inhibiting caplets like Powrthrow which protect both anodic & cathodic sites and reduces Corrosion potential Ecorr by minimum 80 mV in conductive medium, by drilling 20-22 mm dia holes into the concrete at a depth of 30-40 mm and inserts to be filled by epoxy sealant EPCO-1010. Caplets shall inhibit corrosion inhibition efficiency of 98% (when added 0.03 % by weight) against control sample evaluated by Tafel polarization method. Providing and applying Elastomeric, Anti carbonation, Anti corrosive, UV resistant, Solvent based Pure Aliphatic Acrylate System- MONOPOL 456 on the exterior faces of Buildings Protection against ION penetration, carbonation,UV radiations and wethering effect conforming to ASTM D 4541-02 having Electrochemical impedance of 107 Ω and achieving dry film thickness of minimum 200 microns in a primer coat followed by two top coats using brush or spray after complete cleaning & removal of oil, grease or loose particles from the surface etc. complete

PART IV - WATER PROOFING Providing and applying integral crystalline slurry of hydrophilic in nature for waterproofing treatment to the RCC structures like retaining walls of the basement, water tanks, roof slabs, podiums, reservoir, sewage & water treatment plant, tunnels/ subway and bridge deck etc., prepared by mixing in the ratio of 5 : 2 (5 parts integral crystalline slurry : 2 parts water) for vertical surfaces and 3 : 1 (3 parts integral crystalline slurry : 1 part water) for horizontal surfaces and applying the same from negative (internal) side with the help of synthetic fiber brush. The material shall meet the requirements as specified in ACI-212-3R-2010 i.e by reducing permeability of concrete by more than 90% compared with control concrete as per DIN 1048 and resistant to 16 bar hydrostatic pressure on negative side. The crystalline slurry shall be capable of self-healing of cracks up to a width of 0.50mm. The work shall be carried out all complete as per specification and the direction of the engineer-in-charge. The product performance shall carry guaranteed for 10 years against any leakage. (a) All as per item above but For vertical surface two coats @0.70 kg per sqm per coat

(b) All as per item No 21 but For horizontal surface one coat @1.10 kg per sqm.

PART - IV - CIVIL WORK Reinforced cement concrete (design mix)in Beams, cantilevers, bressummers, lintels over 1.5m span

Formwork to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam haunch ings, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including sup- ports, overhangs, etc. also splays between floors and beams, etc.

Structural steel, rolled section such as joist, beam, channel, angle, tee, in available lengths

Painting with black anti corrosive bitumastic paint of approved brand & manufacture to give an even shade. (a) All as per item but One or more coat on old work

Providing and fixing hand rail of approved size by welding etc. to steel ladder railing, balcony railing, staircase railing and similar works,including applying priming coat of approved steel primer (a) All as per item but M.S. tube

Providing internal cement plaster 12mm thick in single coat in cement mortar 1:4 without neeru finish to concrete or brick surfaces, in all positions including scaffolding and curing etc. complete.

M&L for repairs to existing rising, delivery and overflow mains of any number and any dia for each tank including cleaning replacement of necessary fittings clamps, bolts, fixtures, welding, drilling and jointing upto any height and making all operational all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
