Scarifying or picking up graveled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Square Metre, depth exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 150mm deep including removing the material to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and stacking complete all as specified and as directed.

100mm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (90mm to 40mm size) or of grading 2 (50 to 20mm size) of granite, trap or basalt spreading and compaction with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), complete, all as specified and as directed.

Preparing un-surfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a priming / tack coat on un-surfaced water bound macadam surfaces with paving bitumen primer using bitumen VG-10 paving grade ( 80 -100 penetration) @ 10 Kg per Ten Square Metre with tar boiler and including Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% paving bitumen using bitumen VG-30 paving grade ( 50 -70 penetration) binder content by weight of total mix rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, complete, all as specified and as directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with compressed air to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a priming / tack coat on existing black top surfaces with paving bitumen primer using paving bitumen VG-10 grade @ 5 Kg per Ten Square Metre and including Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm (consolidated thickness with 5.5% paving bitumen using bitumen VG-30 paving grade ( 50 -70 penetration) binder content by weight of total mix rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, complete, all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No. 4 to 5 : (a) Preparation of mix in hot mix plant, spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out. Hot mix plant may be installed at any distance but the contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the required temperature of mix under all conditions till it is laid and compacted. Unit rate against these items shall include for carrying out the works with deployment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no delay in completion of work shall be acceptable on this account. (b) To achieve marshal stability of 1050 KN and all as per SSR Part-I Clause No. 20.B.4. (c) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 60.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

Supply and fix in repairs solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed

Cat eye of size 100 mm x 100mmx18.5mm made of ABS material two reflectors fitted in the body, weight of cat eye 130 gm approx, designed for dynamic loads, fixing in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of any type of road surfaces by scratching old spots, paints, trading oils greasy spots etc. and applying 2.5mm thick of Thermo Plastic road marking paints as side, side lines of white/yellow colour conforming to Ministry of surface Transaport (MORTH) specification for the road and bridge work : 5th revision, over primer as per manufacturers instructions including glass beads (intermix) type I (most/BS6008A) and provision contained in IRC-35-1997, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Contractor shall have to furnish the detail that quantity minimum used per square meter is 5.00 Kg/Sqm.

Machine pressed (factory made) precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in kerb stone of size 300mm x 300mm x 100mm thick and the like with plain fair faces including chamfering, weatherings, etc., embedding in position / laid in trenches on edges of roads including necessary formwork, including excavation in any type of soil, returning filing and removal of surplus soil/debris to a distance not exc 50 m from the starting point and including bedded, jointed and setting in cement morter 1:4, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
