Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of AC Plant VRF/VRV Type for MRCC Bldg (G+8 Floors) at Chennai for the space to be air-conditioned as per drawing, to achieve the desired parameters of temperature of 21°C to 24°C, RH of 55 ± 5% to be maintained 24x7x365 days a year and comprising of the following:
Outdoor Units : Outdoor units, Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) / Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) type, Air cooled of Total Capacity not less than 208 HP. Including hermetically sealed, Full Inverter type Multiple Scroll Compressors (min two compressors), BLDC fan motor with fan, heat exchanger, safety valves, receiver, check valve, electronic expansion valve, high pressure switch, low pressure sensor, accumulator and Y-branch kits etc., along with the necessary safety devices, all required items for proper operation of the plant as per the OEM recommendations. Each unit will include have following accessories :-
(i) The outdoor unit heat exchanger Fins to be provided with Hydrophilic coating and additional Epoxy Coating for anti-corrosive protection. (ii) Compressor should be as per OEM Recommendation. (iii) The Outdoor units will have Warranty of min 02 years, however the compressor shall have 10 year warranty. (iii) The compressors should have Oil level sensors for real time oil recovery. (iv) Rates are inclusive of Cowl with bird screen . (v) Microprocessor based Controller. (vi) Top discharge type condensing unit(s) with R410 A Refrigerant. (vii) Vibration isolators, with suitable PCC foundation etc. complete as required. (viii) The VRF/VRV system shall maintain normal cooling operation at all Indoor units while any one Indoor unit is powered down for service or failed. (ix) The unit shall deliver the rated capacity at 40⁰C DB Outdoor Condition and work even at 53°C ambient temperature without tripping. (x) The unit shall be suitable to work on 415V +/- 10%, 3 Phase, 50Hz AC power supply. (xi) The COP at AHRI conditions shall not be less than 3.4 @ 100% Load and 6.9 @ 50% Load. (xii) Any other equipment / accessories as required at site for the complete operation to achieve the desired results are to be provided as per the latest trends and the rates quoted is deemed to be inclusive of of all. (xiii) The contractor shall submit drawings and layout for approval prior to commencement of work duly showing the capacity of outdoor unit at each floor. (xiv) Outdoor units and compressor, made in china shall not be accepted. (xv) T o avoid short cycling of hot air, the outdoor unit fans should have sufficient state pressure preferably 80 Pa or more. Notes:- (i) Site Location is MRCC Bldg (G+8 Floors) at Chennai. Rooms ( as shown in drgs) at Each floor (Except Stilt/Ground Floor) are to be air-conditioned. Every floor should have separate dedicated Outdoor unit installed at that floor only . (Location at each floor is shown in drgs) (ii) Rates are Inclusive of the first charge of the refrigerant. (iii) Rates are inclusive of PCC foundation required to install the unit.
Indoor Units : SITC of 4 Way Flow Cassette Type Indoor units, ceiling mounted of suitable capacity/quantity for each room to be air-conditioned, of Total Capacity Not less than 192 TR, equipped with synthetic washable media pre-filter, BLDC Fan Motor, Multispeed motor, coil section with DX Copper coil, Electronic expansion value, outer cabinet, Drain pump, vanes, grill, with necessary supports, etc., suitable for operation on single phase 230 V± 10%, 50Hz AC supply all as per the OEMs recommendations.
Notes:- (i) Remote controller suitable for all above indoor units to operate, monitor, On/OFF , temperature setting, air flow changing etc . the remote controller shall be suitable for wall mounting with wall bracket. The rate are inclusive of independent cordless remote control for all Indoor units. (iii) Cable from indoor unit to socket etc complete as required. (iv)The height of the unit should be suitable for fixing in false ceiling which is having approx 400 mm depth at site. Vendor to check availability of space on site. (v) Fan/dynamically balanced blower should have noise level less than 51 dB(A) at any Fan Speed. (vi) The Indoor units should have Independent control for each vane with 6-Step Vane Control Features. (vii) Necessary control wiring included for the air-conditioning control system will be interconnected with fire alarm detection control panel system in such a way that in in the event of fire, air-conditioning system shall be automatic forced shutdown . (viii) The contractor shall submit drawings and layout for approval prior to commencement of work duly showing the capacity of indoor unit at each floor. REFNET joints: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of REFNET joint fittings and headers to all indoor units at all floors including the alignment of joints complete all as specified.
Central Controller Unit : SITC of Central Controller Unit (CCU) with LCD Touch Screen having ability of controlling & monitoring up to 128 indoor unit individually or in groups. BACnet TCP and Modbus IP Protocol are built in. It can integrated with third party BMS system. It will be capable to monitor, operate via PC / Tablet / Smart Phone, Web Access browser, Remote Access and Device interlocking.
Refrigerant Piping (Liquid Line) : Supply, Installation, testing & commission of the refrigerant piping (Liquid line) system with Hard Copper pipes of suitable sizes and lengths including 13mm thick tubular nitrile rubber insulation . Complete Copper piping workmanship to be carried out as per the recommendation of OEM. The piping to be vacuum tested and leak tested. Including laying of all refrigerant pipes on suitable Angle Iron / Cable tray.
Refrigerant Piping (Gas Line) : Supply, Installation, testing & commission of the refrigerant piping (Gas line) system with Hard Copper pipes of suitable sizes and lengths including 19mm thick tubular nitrile rubber insulation . Complete Copper piping workmanship to be carried out as per the recommendation of OEM. The piping to be vacuum tested and leak tested. Including laying of all refrigerant pipes on suitable Angle Iron / Cable tray.
Control cum communication cable: Supply and installation of control cum communication cable between indoor units and outdoor units, central control units etc carried out with 2 core x 1.5 sqmm copper cable including suitable size PVC conduit, termination lugs, glands, tagging etc as per norms complete all as specified and directed at site by Engineer in Charge.
Cable tray : Supply and laying of GI Perforated Type cable tray of minimum section of 150 mm wide x 100 mm ht X 1.6 mm thickness with Cable Tray cover for running of copper pipe & cables (for the portion of piping & cables that is visible/exposed to environment.)
GI angle section: Supply and laying of GI angle section of suitable sizes for running of copper pipe & cables (for the portion of piping & cables that is covered under false ceiling.)
DRAIN PIPING : Supply, Installation and Testing of UPVC drain piping 10 Kg/cm2; of suitable sizes and lengths, insulated with 6mm thick Class O closed cell elastomeric nitrile rubber material complete with supports, consumables, fittings, pipe sleeves & leaks. Disposal point in to the nearest drain trap /toilet/ outside rain water harvesting; all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.
MPCB with Enclosure at each floor: SITC of MPCB Enclosure Indoor type, Wall mounted for each floor (8 Nos.) dust and vermin proof fabricated out of CRCA sheet not less than 3.15 mm thick with MPCB (01 Nos) of suitable capacity for control of electric supply to each outdoor unit. Including Power copper cabling of suitable size in VPVC conduit from the MPCB Enclosure to the outdoor unit (Approx 3 mtr) Makes of MPCB : L&T/GE/SCHNEIDER/LEGRAND/HAGER
Earthing : M&L for required qty of earthing for with Galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60×60cm× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth strip 32x6mm size protected with GI medium grade 40mm dia for earth electrode upto test point by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers including excavation, PCC(1:3:6) type C1 pit and RCC cover (1:2:4) type B1 and funnel with necessary charcoal, salt etc complete all as per electrical plate No3 of SSR Part I. ( 08 set of two; for Outdoor units, 01 set for Cubical type panel )
Copper cable : Supply and laying of 10 Sqmm 4 Core copper cable from LT panel to MPCB of Each outdoor unit at each of 08 floors including the necessary UPVC conduit of suitable size with fixing arrangements on wall / ceilings complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.
Notes :- (i) The contractor shall submit drawing refrigerant piping and layout of central controller unit, (Liquid line), Refrigerant piping (Gas Line), Cables, Drain piping for approval to the GE prior to the commencement of work. (ii) The routing of cables/pipes/drains etc , workmanship, finish, general appearance & layout of the plant shall be Aesthetically pleasing; without affecting the Facade of the building, all as directed by Engineer in Charge. (iii) Rates of Minor civil work for providing opening for copper piping & drain with finishing of the same to match with existing surface deemed included. (iv) Piping work shall be carried out as per the site conditions of Chennai. Warranty of 2 year for leak proofing. In case of leak / any defect noticed during the aforesaid warranty period the necessary rectified shall be carried out by the contractor forthwith. (v) Rates deemed inclusive of Vacuum testing and Pressure testing of Refrigerant line & Gas line pipe. Testing with NO2 gas leak tested at 500 PSI for 48 hours complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. (vi) All works shall be carried out by skilled technicians of relevant trade under supervision of rep of OEM. (vii) The item rate quoted by the tenderer shall be inclusive of employing sufficient numbers of person/T&P for attending day to day maintaince /routine maintaince including spares required for VRF system as per OEM recommendation for the two year DLP ( Defect liability Period). (Viii) The item rate quoted by the tenderer shall be inclusive of phase- I acceptance test and phase-II test ( Summer, winter, & monsoon ) including required T & P, Technician etc. (Ix) Register shall be maintained to show the date and time of complaints and date and time of rectification duly signed by the representative of user/JE/AGE.
