General work for cleaning and disinfecting of drinking water tanks at VPCI

Mechanized cleaning of underground & RCC/PVC OH tank with six stages process mentioned as under:- a)Mechanical Dewatering b) Desilting and removal of let over dirty water and sludge wit sludge removal pump. c) Cleaning of walls, ceiling and floor by high pressure water jet with the help of equipment which create a pressure of 100 to 150 bat with antibacterial agent license from food and drugs administration (FDA) and certificate by a govt. Approved laboratory for non-toxicity of antibacterial for tank cleaning as per OECD guidelines for disinfecting the tank from all harmful Bacteria, Fungi, Algae & Protozoan. The active ingredient shall be Benzalkonium chloride solution IP 4% W/V/Equivalent similar compound as per the directions & approved by the Engineer-in-charge. d) Removal of remaining sludge from the floor with the help of industrial vacuum cleaner. e) Spraying of non-toxic, bio degradable eco friendly antibacterial agent for tank cleaning certificate by Govt. Approved laboratory as per the OECD guidelines 423 adopted on 17th December, 2001 for disinfect the tank from all the harmful pathogens. f)Treatment of Inside the tank by exposing U.V Radiation to kill further suspended or floating bacteria if any. (1) 50000 Litres Capacity (UG Tank) - 07 nos.

Providing and fixing of synthetic sheet with gumming size 7” X 5” of required with date of cleaning written on them as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
