Replacement of Metering Panels of Multistoried H type staff quarters and converting main power supply of H type and G type staff quarters from Overhead to underground cabling at Sevasadan colony.

Fabricating, painting, supplying, fixing, testing & commissioning with anchor fastener at NCL wall mounted, cubical type meter panel having sutable dimensions. (including internal partition made out of 1.66mm/2mm CRCA sheet enclosure, vermin proof. (The outer & inner CRCA sheets should be of 1.66mm thick). Contractor should submit the drawing before fabrication.The detailed specifications are as under:- ( I )a)Each cubical should have double hinged door with panel locking arrangement, water / dust proof rubber gasket & cable entries from the top/bottom with clamping arrangement for cables. Siemens type Cable glands should be used for cables. The outer door should be provided with transperent Acrylic/Glass cover for viewing the meters. b)The entire panel (from inside & outside) should be powder coated with IS 631,stoved enamel Siemens gray /ivory colour. c)The holes provided in the internal partitions for cable entry as well as for busbar entry should be provided with grommets and proper insulation of 6mm thick bakelite sheet. d)One no.of 25mm x3mm copper bus-bar strip should be provided through out the bottom side of panel as earth bus. e)This cubical panel is to be mounted/ fixed on wall with suitable size Anchor fastners atproper height. The panel should be provided with the sufficient space for accomodating single phase energy meters mentioned in the item.

Supplying & erecting with cement concrete foundation four way feeder pillar 400Amp,three phase, four way with base frame made out of 40x40x5mm MS angle & height 750 mm.Body of feeder pillar made out of 2mm thick MS sheet & size 830(W) x 1750(L) x 450(D)mm. Busbar size 50mm x 5mm Alumnium with 400Amp fuse base & top of porceilin L&T/EE make.The feeder pillar should have fuse base & tops for incoming & all the out going connections. FP should be provided with 2 nos of earth terminals,heavy duty hinges with brass insert to give smooth operation of doors. 6mm thick Asbestos sheet lining should be provided in inner side of door & inside the pillar compartment & separation between cable connection & incoming for protection. The feeder pillar should be of SUCCESS Engineering/Shreenath Engineering make.(For replacement of old damaged Feeder pillars)

Busbar made out of Aluminium strips of 200A capacity with 200Amp HRC fuse base & top for incomer. Feeder pillar should be provided with 4 nos. of 63 Amp kit kat fuse unit per phase as out going connection.FP should be provided with 2 nos of earth terminals,heavy duty hinges with brass insert to give smooth operation of doors. 6mm thick Asbestos sheet lining should be provided in inner side of door & inside the pillar compartment & separation between cable connection & incoming for protection.The feeder pillar should be of SUCCESS Engineering/Shreenath Engineering make. Supplying & laying in excavated cable trench PVC armoured cable, 3.5 core x 120 sqmm, Polycab/ Gloster/ Asian-Make, Aluminium conductor 1.1Kv grade at NCL site.Also to run the 8 SWG GI wire allong the length as an earrth conductor. (Before supplying the cable actual measurements at site should be taken in consultation with site Engineer.)(From LT Feeder Pillar to meter panel & Distribution panel.)

Making trench 90 cm deep & 45cm wide in ground including excavation for laying cables and refilling the same with sand, & RCC half round pipe above the cable remaining portion duly filled with excavated material after removing stone and other sharp material, etc including site cleaning as required by site Engineer. Rate is inclusive of laying 3.5x/185/120/70/4sqmm. cables in trench or through (G.I.pipe laid at road crossing) & the half round RCC pipe.(Main cable & service cables)

Termination of 2 core,4 Sq.mm./2x 2.5 sqmm Copper conductor armoured cable with suitable size of Aluminium crimping type lugs & flange/Siemens type brass cable gland Braco make.

Supplying & erecting C.I.Cable route marker with inscription engraved as “LT CABLE” on it.The flag should be of 100mm dia 5mm thick & MS angle of 30cm long for grouting.The marker should be grouted in cement concrete with necessary curing thereof.

Providing & laying 150 mm dia RCC Hume pipe for cable laid underground at required depth upto & necessary refilling with light ramming to make the road surface as it was.(At road crossing)

Earthing with G.I. earth plate of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick in 2 mtr deep & 1mtr wide pit with ¾” G.I.pipe for watering. Refilling the pit with 30 Kg charcoal & 30 Kg salt as per IS.Also constructing a cement concrete chamber with C.I.cover with locking arrangement & funnel for watering.G.I. strip of 30x 5mmx2nos. should be used as earth conductor

Supplying & Laying on wall or under ground G.I. earth strip of size 25mm x 3mm x 2nos as an earth conductor including connections / termination with nut bolts,spring washer etc. As required.G.I.strip of 25 x 5mm should be used as earth conductor(Jointing shall be done by overlapping & with 2 sets of G.I. bolts & spring washer.)
