A) Removal of following existing unserviceable components of various MES F/DB/FD/TP/MAP furniture items carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and S&F new components in lieu i.e. in repair/replacement of dismantled components including tightening the joints, screwing, weldging, glueing, providing hinges,denting, placing everypart in-tact, for following items here-in-after including finishing with paint etc as per direction of BOQ, Notes at the end of BOQ & as per drgs. B) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units/ Married Accn of GE(East) Delhi Cantt including BSO Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

b) centre stiffener with 19/20 mm conduit pipe of wall thickness 1.60 mm including necessary cutting, welding etc. complete all as specified and shown in drawing and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

c) side stiffener with with 19/20 mm conduit pipe of wall thickness 1.60 mm including necessary cutting, welding etc. complete all as specified and shown in drawing and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

d) leg of table with with 19/20 mm conduit pipe of wall thickness 1.6 mm including necessary cutting, welding etc. complete all as specified and shown in drawing and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

c) long rail of 32 mm dia Medium grade GI pipes ISI Marked all as specified and shown on drg Make of pipe JINDAL/Prakash/TATA complete all as specified and directed.

d) short rail from charpoy GI pipe 32mm bore but "except pipe" including cutting threading etc as required and directed. Note : Pipe shall be used from unserviceable long rail obtained from item No 13 (c) here in before.

e) legs from charpoy GI pipe 32mm dia but "except pipe" including cutting threading etc as required and directed with bottom plug made of MS Round disc and flat iron clamp 02 Nos for MNF set duly painted with two coats of black paint complete all as specified and directed. Note : Pipe obtained from ser item No 13 (d) above shall be used for this items.

f) GI 3 way elbow 32 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

g) 32mm check nuts complete all as specified and directed.

h) Welding work wherever required as directed by EIC

Charpoy IP folding : FD-388(R )

a) 08 mm thick plywood top BWP grade (Make-Century ply"'Sainik 710/Greenply" Green gold"/Archidply" Platinum"/Duroply"titanium) as per existing shape and size with shunken nut/bolts complete rest all as drg and as directed

REPAIRS TO CHAIR CB STEEL WITH ARM AND WITHOUT ARMS, FD-75 (M) :-

a) seat of chair CB steel with arms duly painted with two coats of synthetic enameled paint of black colour including weaving with 2mm wide 0.4 mm thick white plastic cane (Make : Ajay/premium/shah) as per Godrej pattern and fixed to chair frame with 04 Nos machine screw with washers of size 75mm x 3mm complete all as specified and shown in drawing and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

b) Back of chair CB steel with arms duly painted with two coats of synthetic enameled paint of black colour including weaving with 2mm wide 0.4 mm thick white plastic cane (Make : Ajay/premium/shah) as per Godrej pattern with and fixed with chair frame with 04 Nos machine screw with washers of size 75mmx 3mm complete all as specified and shown in drawing and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

f) flat Iron stiffener of chair CB without arms of size 25mm x 3mm, 380mm long fixed to frame including necessary cuttings, welding etc. complete all as specified and shown in drawing and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

g) PVC cap of best quality for 20 mm dia conduit frame of chair CB steel complete all as specified and shown in drawing and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

h) arm of chair CB steel including painted with two coats of synthetic enameled paint of black colour over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and shown in drawing and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

A) M&L for painting one coat of synthetic enamel paint (1st class) with shade as approved by EIC/GE through spray machine , both internally & externally to the following furniture articles, all are of MES pattern viz F/FD/DB/MAP series or similar items on duly prepared surface after removing of dust, dirts,dents, filling cavity/hole with putty etc, all as specified and shown on drgs and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. B) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units/Md accns of GE(South) Delhi cantt including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Notes for BoQ:-(a) The furniture article as and when received from Unit/Occupant as case may be, the Engineer-in-Charge (BSO) shall enter these furniture articles in furniture deposit register (IAFW-1830) and shall subsequently issue for necessary repair/polishing to the Contractor through Nominal issue voucher(NIV) mentioning the date of issue duly signed by the contractor. In certain cases the repairable furniture article can also be issued directly from units. (b) The contractor shall return these furniture articles after repair work on or before 30 days from the date of issue of furniture and nominal Receipt Vouchers (NRV) shall be issued duly signed by furniture I/C, BSO and Contractor. (c) If the contractor fails to repair and return these furniture article within 30 days, a penalty of Rs 10 per furniture article per day will be levied to contractor and the same will be recovered from contractors claims. (d) Generally the periodicity for issue of furniture from BSO Yard shall be once or twice in a month (reckoning from date of commencement of work as per WO No.1) subjected to the users requirement/availability of furniture for repair works. However care shall be taken that repairable furniture shall be issued not more than 20% of total qty of CA provision in one month. (e) Removal of Existing componants of following MES Pattern Furniture Item's Carefully without disturbing the adjoining Parts and S&F new componants of same pattern as per Drg in lieu of Dismantled /Discorded componants including Tighting the Joints, Pinning, Screwing, wedging, Gluing, Providing Hinges, Placing every part in-tact condition. (g) Cleaning, Derusting of Stain/Dirt old polish with Grinder machine or Sand Paper as required and as directed making the Surface smooth filling the holes with putty where ever required and Applying paint for steel surface/two coats of French Polish for wooden Items as applicable on the same. (h) Replaced/ Changed parts should be First finished seperately upto the level /extent so that the Painting /Polishing on whole Items should be matched and desired finish shall be obtained. (j) Work will be executed where the Furniture Item's exist in different user unit's/ Md accn under AOR of GE (East) Delhi Cantt including Furniture yard of BSO's Sub Division.
