Cutting grass manually and removing material out side MOD land obtained from cutting and cleaning both side runway PTT near DTGM board complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Grass shall be cut and finished 10 mm to 25 mm above the existing ground level. (ii) All foreign materials (stone pieces etc) obtained during cutting of grass shall be removed from out side MOD land. (iii) Materials obtained from cutting of grass shall be removed out side of MOD land

Material and Labour for obtaining approved earth ( stabilized soil) from out side defence land to a distance as per requirement and bring out to site and deposited for forming embankment/ filling berms including spreading in layers not exceeding 30 centimetre thick, levelled and ramming with 8 to 10 tonne mechanical roller including watering complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) To arrive finished quantity for payment purpose consolidation thickness shall be measured. (ii) Earth shall be free from foreign material, ie, grass, roots etc. (iii) The consolidation shall be done by heavy mechanical machinery of capacity exceeding 3 tonne. (iv) The specified standard proctor density under optimum moisture conditions shall be obtained and 5% deduction for bulkage shall be made.

Material and labour rolling and consolidating formation surfaces, sub grade / runway shoulder with power roller of capacity exceeding 8 tonnes and not exceeding 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour providing, plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2, (40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in foundation filling or mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour brick work except bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius, built in cement and sand mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer / Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Serviceable Bricks obtained under demolition of respective item shall be used.

Material and labour brick work with sub-class 'B' bricks (old size bricks) straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius, built in cement and sand mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour brick work with sub-class 'B' bricks (old size bricks) laid flat, in floors, bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour brick work except bricks laid flat, in floors, saucer drains etc bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour 100mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-2, (Using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) laid in alternate bays as floor, finished concrete surface with spike rolling or making impression of expanded metal whilst the concrete is green including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour 15 mm thick rendering in cement and sand mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick work surfaces finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for preparation of old painted concrete surfaces with washing down soap water of runway, taxi track road for painting with mechanical mode of application as lines, dashes, arrows, letters and the like exceeding 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of runway road marking paint aqua based golden, yellow, or white colour as approved by Garrison Engineer to give uniform finish complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Masking tape should be used on edges of paints before painting work and removed the masking tape after paint is applied where ever required and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for preparation of old painted concrete surfaces of runway, taxi track, link / dispersal and applying one coat of cement base paint of colour as approved by Garrison Engineer to give uniform finish complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Masking tape should be used on edges of paints before painting work and removed the masking tape after paint is applied where ever required and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing of old black top surfaces by brooming with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with the use of air blowers to remove all loose dirt etc complete and applying cold polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) by spraying with machine of total cold liquid PME @ 0.89 litre per Sqm (undiluted) for two coats with mineral filler as recommended by manufacturer of PME (after diluting with water), each coat diluted in the ratio 1:1 (PME : Water) and ensure uniform finish of PME on Runway complete all as per manufacturer’s instructions and complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- The tenderer shall take following points into consideration and are deemed to be included in quoted rate:- (i) Due care shall be taken for friction parameters during application of PME as per ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) standard. (ii) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicator of PME manufacturers. (iii) A performance guarantee certificate for 3 (Three) years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified. (iv) Application of PME shall be done by flooding and wiping in both first coat and second coat with the help of wiper or as directed by the manufacturer. (v) Application of PME shall be done under the supervision of manufacturer’s technical experts. (vi) Skid resistance test (Dry and Wet Condition) in every 5000 Sqm area of runway shall be carried out before and after PME by the Govt approved lab/by expert technician of PME manufacturer as directed by GE. (vii) PME required more/less than 0.89 litre/Sqm (undiluted) during execution of work as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge shall be measured and paid as supply only rate.

Material and Labour for repair to broken/damage portion of concrete slab or pavement of surface area not exceeding 10 square centimetre and depth not exceeding 15 mm by cutting damaged portion to slab/spoil edges to triangular / rectangular cross section and removing all loose and foreign materials and depositing the same to out side MOD land and cleaning the surface by compressed air to remove all dust dirt etc and washing with hydrochloric acid and filling epoxy resin mortar after application of epoxy primer as per manufacture instructions bull nosing the edges complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Material obtained from damaged portion of concrete slab shall be removed from out side MOD land.

Material and Labour for preparing of existing construction / contraction / dummy / expansion joints including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 25 to 30 mm wide and 40 mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air and providing a suitable dia polyurethane back up rod/debonding strip and top 13mm primed and sealed with using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer as per manufacturers recommendation polyurethane sealent complying with BS-5212 & BS -4254 and EN 141875 -2003 ( for hydrolysis / water resistance test ) priming the sides with minimum MAF± 30 % (with ten years performance guarantee ) and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is applied complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Material obtained from removing of existing filled up materials shall be removed from out side MOD land.

Material and Labour for preparing of existing construction / contraction / dummy / expansion joint including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 20 to 25 mm wide and 30 mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air primed and providing a suitable dia polyurethane back up rod/debonding strip and top 15mm primed and sealed with using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer as per manufacturers recommendation polyurethane sealent complying with BS-5212 & BS -4254 and EN 141875 -2003 ( for hydrolysis / water resistance test ) priming the sides with minimum MAF± 30 % (with ten years performance guarantee ) and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is applied complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Material obtained from removing of existing filled up materials shall be removed to out side MOD land.

Material and Labour for preparing of existing construction / contraction / dummy / expansion joint including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 20 to 25 mm wide and 40 mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air and applying the bituminous primer and sealing the joints by filling sealing compound grade `B` (Jet fuel resistant) as per IS 1834-984 complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Material obtained from removing of existing filled up materials shall be removed to out side MOD land.

Supply and fix 20 mm thick insulated toughened glass (5 mm thick clear toughened glass and 5 mm thick black toughened glass with 10 mm spacing between both the glass) and fixed with aluminimum beading and rubber gaskate of suitable size fixed in aluminimum frame work in ATC tower complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer / Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and running of mechanical tractor minimum 40 HP capacity alongwith one skilled driver and one semi skilled helper, including fuel / lubricants etc for cutting of grass by mechanically operated Slasher wherever required including removing of materials obtained from cutting to out side of MOD land. Grass cutting is to be done upto 100 metre from the edge of runway, taxi track and parking area and height of grass shall not be more than 5 cm to 10 cm after cutting complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer / Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (i) A log book shall be maintained by JE(Civil) and the same shall be signed by Engineer-in-Charge & contractor daily for the purpose of calculating daily working hours which shall be actual mode of payment. (ii) Tractor deployed shall not be more than 5 years old from the date of manufacturing. Contractor to provide the registration documents to Engr-in-Charge on this account. (iii) Actual working hours shall be calculated based on actual running of machinary as directed by Garrison Engineer and excluding of transit hours. (iv) As per site requirement contractor shall arrange more than one tractor alongwith mechanical slasher. Seperate log book shall be maintained for each tractor.

Supply and running of earth moving plant/Backhoe loader with minimum loaded capacity of one cubic metre of loaded bucket for excavation and levelling of soil alongwith one skilled driver and one semi skilled helper, including fuel / lubricants etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) A log book shall be maintained by JE(Civil) and the same shall be signed by Engineer-in-Charge & contractor daily for the purpose of calculating daily working hours which shall be actual mode of payment. (ii) Earth moving plant/Backhoe loader deployed shall not be more than 5 years old from the date of manufacturing. Contractor to provide the registration documents to Engr-in-Charge on this account. (iii) Actual working hours shall be calculated based on actual running of machinary as directed by Garrison Engineer and excluding of transit hours.

Material and labour for cutting of grass, shurbs, vegetation, bush, weed by brush cutter operated slasher where ever required including cleaning the bothe sides edges of runway / PTT removing of materials obtained from cutting to out side of MOD land complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The contractor shall arrange two numbers of brush cutter machine alongwith two operator and two helper (one operator and one helper for each machine) including POl etc from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs (including half an hour lunch break). (ii) The output of brush cutter machine shall be 1000 square metre per day per machine including cleaning/removing of materials obtained from cutting to out side of MOD land. (iii) Site/area of grass cutting shall be handed over as and when on requirement basis. Contractor shall start the work immediatly whenever site is handed over to him. (iv) A log book shall be maintained by JE(Civil) and the same shall be signed by Engineer-in-Charge & contractor daily for the purpose of calculating daily working hours which shall be actual mode of payment.

Material and Labour for weather resistance retro-reflective high intensity prismatic sheet / tape conforming to ASTM D-4956-01 type XI, of any colour / tint as per direction of Garrison Engineer/Engineer-in-Charge for writing alphabet letter, number and arrows on DTGM boards as computer plotter 64 mm or as directed stroke width complete all as specified and directed. (i) Note :- Area shall be calculated from stroke length and width of numerals / alphabets.

Material and labour for cleaning drain any shape and any size of runway and removing sludge, soil, mud, grass and vegetation roots from drain and removing of materials obtained from cleaning ie. sludge, mud, soil etc to out side of MOD land complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge. Note :- To determine the depth of sludge levels initially and after cleaning of drain shall be taken and recorded in MB duly signed by, Garrison Engineer, Engineer - in Charge and contractor.

Supplying, and fix in repair visible sign board of area exceeding 0.70 Square metre and not ezxceeding 1.80 square metre each made from 4 mm thick engineering grade plastic (acralic sheet) having monolithic structure to withstand temprature variations from cold environment to sweltering hot conditions and to withstand high velocity winds frmaed and braced with 40 mm dia PVC pipe best quality to with stand high ground level with best quality structure including excavating in post holes of size 30cmx30cmx45cm and embedded in PCC1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and making plinth around frame of width 600mm and length as required, including providing / applying weather resistance coating, providing and pasting of new numerals/alpahbets with retro reflective tape cutting it as computer plotter etc complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs 4 mm thick acrylic sheet of any size as in visible sign board complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge. Note :- Make of Acrylic sheet shall be as per sample kept in sample room of GE office/make as approved by Garrison Engineer.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and removing rubbish out site MOD land complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of brick masonry quions, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashlar fackings, dressed stonewrk and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) Unserviceable material retrieved under this item is contractor property and necessary amount as per schedule of credit shall be deducted from the contractor dues. (ii) Rubbish shall be removed out site MOD land. (iii) Serviceable bricks retrieved shall be reused in respective items of this schedule.

Dismantling bricks (laid flat or on edge) or bricks tiles in floors, channels, kerbs, aprons, etc (each layer) laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer/ Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) Unserviceable material retrieved under this item is contractor property and necessary amount as per schedule of credit shall be deducted from the contractor dues. (ii) Rubbish shall be removed out site MOD land. (iii) Serviceable bricks retrieved shall be reused in respective items of this schedule.
