REPAIR / MAINTENANCE OF HT EXTERNAL SERVICES, REPAIR OF HT STRUCTURE, HT AIR BREAK SWITCH AND REPAIR SERVICING OF HT SWITCH GEAR AT NAVAL STATION KARANJA

Supply, laying in repairs, in trenches /ducts/fixing on pole/STR with suitable size of GI clamp made out of GI strip 32 mm x 6 mm, XLPE HT insulated, screened, earthed, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) of size 3 x 120sqmm with aluminium conductor suitable for 22 KV grade as per relevent IS including latest amendment for IS (ISI marked cable) testing, commissionong along with HT cable route indicator complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Earth work, EHV cable cover, sand coushioning & GI pipe will be measured and paid seperately. (b) High voltage test to be conducted at site with suitable voltage before and after laying of HT cable and reading shall be recorded jointly and test report to be submitted in triplicate to the Engineer-in-Charge. The cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted above.

Taking out carefully cable covers & HTcable from excavtaed trench/duct/pole of size 120 sqmm 3 core

Relaying of HT cable of size 120 sqmm 3 core in trench/duct/pipe obtained from ser item no 2

Excavation in trenches for not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr depth and getting out in soft/loose soil including taking out faulty cable/cable, cable covers and GI pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the Starting point.

Returning filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and lay sand cushioning to under ground HT cable complete all as specified in SSR Part-I and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and Laying reinforced precast concrete cable cover laid width wise factory made, class EHV type 1 with peak size 450 mm x 230 mm x 50 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Laying only precast concrete cover of size 450mm x 230mm x 50 mm obtained from srl No 1

M&L for drawing 3 phase with aluminium conductor, steel reinforced DOG.

M&L for notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous enamelled white, with letters figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps bolts and nuts of approved size for HT 22 KV of size 25 x 20 cm.

M&L for cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structual steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicted and inclusive of one primer coat one under coat and two finishing coat of aluminium paint.

Dismantling of unserviceable cross arms of MS Chanel/angle sections etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of unserviceable insulator any type and any size.

Dismantling of ACSR conductors of service feeder or distribution span complete all as specified and directed.

M&L GI pipe Light grade with all fittings complete laid in trenches/fixed on pole with suitable clamp all as specified for 80 mm bore of pipe for protection of UG cable.

M&L for disc insulator porcelain vitreous brown 145 mm height & 225 mm dia ball and socket type two in series assembly with cast aluminium 4 U bolt tension hardware and tension clamps for conductors working pressure HT 22 KV complete all as specified and directed. Make :- INSUC/ BIC/ Durable.

Material for pin insulator porcelain vitreous brown insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut for 22000 volts grade 205 mm dia & 215 mm height, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and install HT 22 KV Gang Operated Air Break Switch, horizantal 3 insulator type complete with handle, pipe and all mechanical fittings 400 Amps double break rotating type with earth switch.

M & L for overhauling i.e greasing, cleaning of GOD and adjustment of its operation complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for fixed type top contact for DO fuse units in replacement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for fixed type bottom contact for DO fuse units in replacement complete all as specified and directed.

S&F following spares of vertical type GOD 22 KV grade, 200 Amps rating of in position as in repairs including testing after repairs:-

Supply and install HT 22 KV, 200 Amp outdoor type gang operated single break switch Tilting type vertical mounting consisting of hot dip galvanised channel iron base having 2 Nos 11 KV Post type insulator in stack and 3 stack per phase copper or copper alloy high pressure heavily tinned contacts plated MS arcing horns capable of breaking the magnetizing current complete with horizontal connecting square bar, GI pipe as down rod levers coupling & operating handle with locking arrangement.

Supply and install drop out lift OFF HT 22 KV, 200 Amps fuse link consisting of channel iron base having 2 Nos 11 KV post type insulators in stack & 2 stack per phase complete with fuse carrier of SRBP tube with heavily tinned non ferrous metal parts and spring loaded phosphor bronze contact complete manufactured as per IS 9385 complete all as specified and directed.

Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 60cm x 60 cm x 6 mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including GI strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts and check nuts and washers etc made of GI & connected to Earthing test point and earth dolly all as shown in elect plate No 5 of SSR Pt-I incl all necessary earth work, excavation, PCC chamber, chamber cover with handle (PCC 1:2:4) including 15 mm dia protection pipe & 20 mm dia watering pipe and wire mesh funnel etc all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or fixed to pole GI strip 32 x 6 mm all as specified and directed.

S & F lightening arresters single pole zinc oxide (gap less) surge type suitable for use in effectively earthed system with nominal voltage of 36 KV Confirmed to IS : 3070 (Part-3) 1993 complete all as specified and directed.

Periodical check/preventive maintenance of HT 22 KV SF-6 Gas circuit breaker HT 22 KV, 800 Amps, outdoor type controlled by indoor control panel by manufacturer's service Engineer/ authorised channel partner's for the following checks including dismantling/replacing the defective parts for smooth functioning and including testing of breaker for its closing/opening operations on manual and on remote after every check, Make :- Crompton Greaves

M & L for Heat Shrinkable straight through jointing kit with all necessary jointing material suitable for HT 22 KV XLPE 3 core 95/120 sqmm aluminium conductor cable complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting HT 22 KV grade XLPE cable of any size from structure/pole/transformer for finding fault by computer aided fault finging machine and locating exact location by thumping and necessary earth work to expose faulty cable piece and cutting fauly cable and testing remaining cable with High voltage tester to with stand the cable as normal working pressure HT 22 KV complete all as specified and directed by Engineeer-in-Charge.

Note :- Excavation and earth work and M&L for joints shall be measured and paid udnder relevant Item of schedule separately.

Labour only for upkeep of HT out door structure by removing grass, shrubs, trimming branches of trees near to structure removing cleaning, screening for mud etc and relaying of same stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed.
