PROVN OF SECURITY FENCE, ADDN/ ALTN TO EXISTING WALL WITH BARBED WIRE AND CONCENTRIC COIL AT DSSC WELLINGTON.

Excavation in post holes or similar holes each n.exc 0.5 Cum and getting out in hard /dense soil, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers n.exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete all as specified and as directed.

S & F for mild steel angle iron post and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed , drilling holes, notching for wire etc, flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting etc and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E- 165 all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only Chain link MS galvanised fencing, any size or type all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Fixing only chain link fencing new or old including line wire, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts etc including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, n exc 5cm long, dia of neck 5 to 10mm all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F mild steel round bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips Fe-410-W (Gde.E-250) quality-A or Fe 290 (Gde - E-165) all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing (or) tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples (or) steel pins etc., all as specified and as directed. Note : Each line wire to be measured.

S & F for GI concertina coil fencing 450mm dia with 8 to 10 RM PWR coil having minimum 25 Nos of clips each round and weight upto 15.5 Kg per coil approx when unstretched to be provided on the top of compound wall including clips as per manufacturer's instruction and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for preparation of steel surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for foundation etc., and getting out in hard / dense soil all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Precast cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) block masonry with solid blocks, exc 10 cm in width and set in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for Walling of random rubble stone masonry uncoursed, with best quality locally available harder stones such as granite, trap, basalt stone etc, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted , built in CM (1:6), including necessary bond stones and pointing the unaccesible dressed surface with same mortar as the work proceeds all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No 14 but except stone complete all as specified and directed Note : Serviceable stone obtained from item No 22 shall be reused.

M & L for keyed pointing to random or polygonal rubble uncoursed or brought upto courses in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), as in coping, cills, bands, bed plates etc including necessary form work, weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material (soil) n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm thick with excavated soil all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for 15 mm thick rendering in CM (1:4) on fair faces of brick/concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of plastered or unplastered new surfaces of wall and applying two coats of cement base paint any shade as approved complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of brick work or stone masonry built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facing dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for reinforced concrete pipes 300mm dia , class NP2, laid and jointed with collars complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC (1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested for 300mm dia pipe all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for such as fencing posts, gates, grills etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Fixing and errecting only angle or tee sections, incl round bars fixed independently without connecting plates as in security fencing post etc., (cut to ordinary length ie., within 20mm of the length indicated) complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Angle iron and round bars obtained from dismantling item No 25 shall be reused. (ii) Earth work and PCC measured seperately.

Dismantling of barbed wire and neatly coiled on rough drums complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling fencing wire mesh of any type complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of old or previously untreated surfaces and applying two coats of aluminium paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for racking out joints to random rubble or polygonal rubble masonry and keyed pointing to random rubble/polygonal rubble uncoursed stone work in old retaining wall in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.
