REPAIR MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING OF DRAINAGE SYSTEM AT INHS ASVINI UNDER AGE (I) ASVINI, COLABA, MUMBAI

M & L for Systematic cleaning/desilting of drainage lines/storm water drains of any size and depth by manual means using shovels, picks, bamboo rods, buckets, ropes, push carts and other required tools & tackles with all safety mesaures including removal of silt, sludge, mud, garbage, vegetation and debris from the drain, maintaining free flow of drainage during operation, taking all necessary safety precautions, providing barricading, caution boards, PPE, gas testing wherever required, loading, transportation and disposal of excavated/de-silted material outside departmental/M.D. limits at approved dumping locations, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe & rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or ¾ section) in cement concrete 1:2 :4 type B-1 smooth finished, & reforming benching as required, internal dia of pipe 150mm complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & Fixing in repairs cast iron work grade FG 150, articles exc 5 kg each unmachined, in brackets, gully traps/covers, gratings, railing, frames, manhole covers, fire and soot doors, dampers, stop valve boxes, gate stops, parts of ranges, balusters and similar articles

Material & Labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping, bed plates, kerbs etc. and similar work including necessary formwork weathring slightly rounded or chamfered complete all as specified & directed

Demolition of RCC cover slab of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for including reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition and separating, scraping and cleaning of reinforcement and removing debris outside MD land. Note: The place of disposal shall be find out by the contractor.

Material & Labour for providing precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in cover slabs for manholes, etc and similar articles with plain fair faces including chamfers, weathering, throating etc and setting in cement mortar (1:4) with joints to match. Note:- (i) Precast cement concrete cover shall be reinforced. Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately.

Material & Labour for TMT (CRS) bars 6mm to 8mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with the clips.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar, including all quoins, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work & precast concrete articles including copings etc.and removing debris outside MD land complete all as specified.

Material & Labour for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified.
