Ennore SEZ Thermal Power Project (2x660 MW Super-critical) - Execution of internal protection of Chimney flue canes (two numbers) including ducts with Vinyl Ester Glass Flake coatings.

Internal coating of Metal Flue cane (2 Nos) of Chimney 275 Mtr including Ducts by coating @ 1000 Microns minimum with three pack cold cured Vinyl Ester Urethene Polymer Alloy with Glass Flakes as Lining material on ground before field joints and erection of chimney canes. The scope of work includes supply of coating material at site, requisite air conditioning Storage and protection arrangements for coating material, surface preparation by abrasive blasting as per SA 2.5 ,providing dehumifier to maintain the humidity less than60% for coating works and as per manufacturer recommended application instructions, applying of the coat on internal surface of canes by airless spray/ brush as per manufacturer recommended application methods , Dry film testing (DFT) & spark testing/Holiday testing as per standards.

Coating Rectifications on the finished surfaces warranted due to scratches /surface torns, grains and other damages while lifting, removing cleats if any, due to transport, installation and erection of Chimney canes by applying the glass flake coating on internal surface of canes such that minimum 1000 Microns are coated overall as per manufacturer recommended application methods ,providing dehumifier for maintaining the humidity less than 60% and as per manufacturer recommended application instructions, Dry film testing (DFT) & spark testing/Holiday testing as per standards.

On erection of flue canes by Chimney execution agencies, the Internal strip coating works of width recommended by the Manufacturer standards on the Chimney Metal Flue cane (2 Nos) as filed joint coating @ 1000 Microns minimum with three pack cold cured Vinyl Ester Urethene Polymer Alloy with Glass Flakes as Lining material. The scope of work includes supply of coating material at site, requisite air conditioning Storage and protection arrangements for coating material, surface preparation by abrasive blasting as per SA 2.5 ,providing dehumifier to maintain the humidity less than60% for coating works and as per manufacturer recommended application instructions, applying of the coat on internal surface of canes by airless spray/ brush as per manufacturer recommended application methods , Dry film testing (DFT) & spark testing/Holiday testing as per standards. The necessary enabling & safety arrangements such as special lifts /suspended platform/space climbers/winch platform/ Load Suspended Rope circular hoisting Platform/ cup lock foam work if any etc… for movement during blasting and strip coating needed in filled joints in situ @ 6mtrs in vertical position shall be under the scope of the contractor. The above enabling & safety arrangements necessitated for completing the coating works shall be handed over to TANGEDCO for periodical Third Party Inspection/ testing of the coatings of internal surface of canes. The work includes cost of all materials, consumables, leads, lifts, plant & machinery, rectification works if any needed on coatings, all finishing works , all works necessary for fulfilling the completeness of scope covered under specification.
