Preparing old concrete /bituminous surfaces and Material and Labour for painting lines, dashes (continuous/un-interrupted), arrows, letters, etc exceeding 10 cm width with adequate no of coat of waterbased road marking paint in white,golden, yellow or red colour over a coat of primer complete, using road painting machine complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.
Preparing old concrete /bituminous surfaces and Material and Labour for painting lines, dashes (continuous/un-interrupted), arrows, letters, etc exceeding 10 cm width with two coat of synthetic enamel road marking paint in white,golden, yellow or red colour over a coat of primer complete all using road painting machine complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.
Material and Labour for cleaning the surface with compressed air and make the surface free from dust and other particles and apply cold polymeric bitumen emulsion (PME) @ 1.00ltr/sqm in two coats after dilution with 50% water , viz in the ratio of 1:1 (water:PME) by mechanical spraying machine complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make of PME shall be as per list of makes approved by E-in-C's Branch.
Note: - The tenderer shall take into consideration the following points while quoting his rate for the items. (a) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess qty of cold polymeric bitumen emulsion is used under this item. (b) A performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor after physical completion of work. NOTES: APPLICABLE FOR SR ITEM NO. 1.00 TO 3.00 The work will be carried out as per user requirement from 1830 Hrs to 2200 Hrs. The deployment of labour and T&P arrangement on the Runway shall be intimated to the Contractor by 0800 Hrs each day in the morning. The Contractor has to provide necessary arrangement and as lights etc and quote the rate accordingly for considering late working hours at night.The quoted rates by Contractor shall include all details mentioned in this Note and Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
