Materials & labour for conducting K-value Test using 75 cm Circular plate (The Test shall be conducted as per Indian standard codal provisions). The rate include preparation and submission of the comprehensive technical report giving complete record of investigation and calculation of modulus of subgrade reaction of the soil. The rates will also include excavation and back filling of pit, loading unloading of kentledge material after test ascends descends crossing of tracks/nallah with all labour, material ,tools plants and machinery.

Materials & labour for conducting CBR (California bearing ratio) test as site (The test shall be conducted as per Indian standard codal provision . The rate include preparation and submission of the comprehensive technical report giving complete record of investigation and calculation of modulus of subgrade reaction of the soil . The rates will also include excavation and back filling of pit, loading unloading unloading of kentledge material and removal of kentledge material after test,ascends,descends crossing of tracks/nallah with all labour, material tools plants and machinary complete as specified and directed. Note : The rates quoted by the tenderer for Srl Item No 1 & 2 deemed to include following sub notes hereinbelow (if applicable) and nothing extra over & above shall be paid to the tenderer for the same Collection of disturbed soil sample as per relevant IS code for carrying out different tests in laboratory. Conduction of following lab tests on disturbed soil sample as considered necessary according to relevant specification of IS 2720 (i) Sleve analysis and grain size distribution by sieve analysis and hydrometer test. (ii) Atterberg’s limits (iii) Natural moisture content(iv) Particle size analysis test (v) Bulk density & Dry density Submission of (07 Nos hard copy and 02 Nos soft copy). Ink signed with detailed description and procedure of field investigation soil classification general nature of soil strata ‘K value CBR value interpretation of soil results, grain size distribution , site plan etc complete. With every site soil investigation report, a detailed site plan showing the approx location of each ‘K' value test conducted duly numbered shall be enclosed location of existing runway shall also be shown on plan. Every page of the soil investigation report shall have name of job for which soil investigation is being carried out. All pages of soil investigation report shall be serially numbered stamped and signed by the agency. Photographic record of soil investigation as well as testing shall also form part of the record. Transportation charges including loading and unloading of heavy girders, T&P, technician etc complete from laboratory to work site and back shall be deemed included in rates quoted by bidders. The work shall be carried out through NABL approved laboratory / any other govt institutes.
