Subhead-1 Dismantling

Dismantling/removing of existing Alluminium/ M.S. glazing/window/ ventilator (fixed/ openable) alongwith M.S. hold fasts embedded in cement concrete and hoop iron bars from the wall/ between the columns etc. including removing of glass panes and returning to the stores as directed including finishing the broken surface to match with the existing as per site requirement complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Dismantling/removing existing Alluinium walls/ Steel/wooden Doors/windows/cub board alongwith door clousers and with chowkhats by making recesses in walls when the wall is not to be dismantled or with welding set and returning to the stores as directed including finishing the broken surface to match with the existing as per site requirement complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Dismantling of existing Brick work/ tile masonry in cement mortar, as per actual site conditions/ requirements, finishing the broken surface to match with the surrounding, removing the debris etc. from site of work to dumping ground/yard - approved by the M.C., Mohali , Including cutting the reinforcement if any and cleaning & stacking of dismantled bricks and bats for re-use in new work, complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C. NOTE:- I.Recovery of dismantled bricks to be reused will be made @50% of quantity of dismantled brick work as per provisions of CSR-2010 and premium list, applicable at the time of tender. II. Recovery of dismantled brick bats to be reused, will be made @ of 50% quantity of dismantled brickwork as per provisions of CSR-2010 and ceiling premium, applicable at the time of tender.

Dismantling of reinforced cement concrete for all types of R.C.C. work including cutting of reinforcement and finishing the broken surface to match with the surrounding and removing the debris from site of work to dumping ground/yard - approved by the M.C., Mohali ,as directed by the E-in-C.

Dismantling/removing of existing false ceiling consisting of Bison panels, G.I. cradlings and electrical fittings/fixtures and returning the same to the stores with in campus as directed including finishing the broken surface to match with the existing as per site requirement complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

SUB HEAD-2 CENTERING AND SHUTTERING

a) upto 4 meters ht. above plinth level.

Providing and fixing steel shuttering and centering for carbles, parapet, facias and other similar items including edges. Complete in all respects as directed by E-in-C.

SUB HEAD-3 CONCRETE WORK

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:4:8 using concrete mixture volumetric type with stone aggregate (1 cement: 4 coarse sand: 8 stone aggregate 40mm gauge) for all types of foundations, footings, below rafts, extension columns, plinth beams/under floor etc. including spreading, laying, ramming and consolidating as per requirements and curing etc. but excluding centering and shuttering, complete in all respects as directed by E-in-C.

Providing & laying Reinforced cement concrete M-15 mechanically mixed using batch type concrete mixture as per IS 1791 and vibrated by needle vibrator but excluding steel reinforcement, centering and shuttering, for all types of RCC works i.e. column, beams, slabs and fascias etc. as per structural drawings/ design including laying, spreading, ramming, watering, consolidating & curing etc., Complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and laying PCC 1:2:4 screed/leveling course under floors as per site requirements Compete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of E-in-Charge.

Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles 600x600mm size premium quality, manufactured using double charge Technology, with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS: 15622 of approved make in all colours and shades, laid for new flooring laid with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) of approved make IS 15477 marked using 5 Kg adhesive per sqm of tile area in average 3mm thickness over existing base, including grouting the joints (Tiles to be laid with 2mm to 3 mm gap using spacers and later this gap to be filled with cement based grout) with Cement base grout and matching pigments etc., complete in all respect as directed by the E-in-C. ( Make Johnson / Kajaria/ AGL to be got approved before arranging )

Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles 600x600mm (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of premium quality conforming to IS:15622 (Make Kajaria/ Johnson/Orient or equivalent approved make) IS 15477 marked using 5 Kg adhesive per sqm of tile area in average 3mm thickness over existing base, including grouting the joints for new flooring/dado or laid with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) of approved make IS 15477 marked using 5 Kg adhesive per sqm of tile area in average 3mm thickness over existing floor, including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete in all respects add directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and laying Rectified Porcelain Bathroom wall & floor tiles, size 600mmx1200mm (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of premium quality conforming to IS:15622 (Make Kajaria/ Johnson/Orient or equivalent approved make) in all colours laid on 20mm thick bed of Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Fine sand) for new flooring/dado or laid with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) of approved make IS 15477 marked using 5 Kg adhesive per sqm of tile area in average 3mm thickness over existing floor, including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete in all respects add directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and laying machine cut Granite stone 19mm thick of approved shade and required sizes in flooring, counters skirting, treads and risers of steps, dado walls and pillars etc. laid in 12.5mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement 3 coarse sand) and jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of stone, including rubbing and polishing, nosing in steps etc. including labour for fixing dowel pins and cramps. Compete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of E-in-Charge.

Granding & polishing of existing kota stone flooring complete in all respects in all respects the setisfaction of E in C

SUB HEAD-7 PLASTERING

Providing and applying cement plaster in cement sand mortar 1:5 (1cement: 2.5 fine sand: 2.5 coarse sand) to the walls, columns etc. including providing groove, drip course, scaffolding, finishing, curing etc. Complete in all respects for all heights as directed by the E-in-C.

SUB HEAD-8 GLAZING

Providing and fixing aluminium work powder coated and approved shade, for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/appropriate z sections and other sections conforming to Is: 733 and IS : 1285 of Jindal, Hindalco, Mahavir or equivalent make approved by Engineer in Charge , fixed with rawl plugs and screws or with fixing clips, or with expansion hold fasteners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with required PVC Plug/neoprene felt etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitered and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing/paneling, C.P.brass/stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-In- Charge. (Glazing and paneling to be paid for separately) :

SUB HEAD-9 INTERIOR WORKS

Providing and fixing of underdecking with thermocol sheets of 50mm thick, before doing the ceiling work complete as per drawings.

Supply and installation of modular Grid ceiling as per specifications and drawings enclosed.WITH MINERAL FIBER BOARD TILES (Make: Armstrong/USG/AMF/ or Equivalent make) Proprietary supplied ceiling suspension system to consist of 3mm or 4mm GI suspension rod/wire with adjustable butterfly clip securely affixed to structural ceiling using soffit angle fixing bracket and 10mm dia hook type anchor fastener. Ceiling suspension system to be fixed at interval (grid) of 1200mm in both directions.Supply of proprietary Exposed silhoutteTee Grid System to consist of Main Runners @ 600mm and joined by Cross Tees @ 600mm to form overall grid opening of 600mm x 600mm. Additional cross tees are to be placed where appropriate for light fixtures, AC diffusers Supply of proprietary Exposed silhoutteTee Grid System to consist of Main Runners @ 600mm and joined by Cross Tees @ 600mm to form overall grid opening of 600mm x 600mm. Additional cross tees are to be placed where appropriate for light fixtures, AC diffusers The grid system used shall be hot dipped galvanised steel sections, with exposed surfaces chemically cleaned and capped prefinished in baked polyester paint.Ceiling shall be laid with shadow Wall Angle as per drawing and as directed by Engineer.

Providing and fixing of false ceilings at all heights of Gypsum board 12 mm thick as per the standard norms laid by India Gypsum Ltd. or Equivalent ., which includes providing and fixing G.I. per Perimeter channel of size 27 mm & 0.5 mm thick having one glace of 20mm and another flange of 30mm alongwith perimeter of the ceiling, screw and rawl plugs. Then suspended G.I. intermediate channels of size 45 mm x 9mm thick with two gauges of 1.5mm each from the soffit at 1200mm center with still G.I. hangers of which 25mm x 5mm thick fixed to soffit with G.I. cleat and steel expansion fasteners ceiling section of 5mm thickness having knurled wedge of 51.5mm channel with the help of connecting to clips and in direction perpendicular to the intermediate channel at 45mm centre , 12.5mm taped adge Gypsum board to be screw fixed to ceiling section with 25mm drywell screw at 230mm centers. Screw fixing to be done mechanically. The taped and the square edges of the board are to be jointed and finished to flush finish with requisite jointing compound, paper tapes, finisher and primer, paint suitable for Gypsum plaster boards . Cutouts have to be made for light Fittings, Ac grills diffusers etc. with the frame of perimeter channels as per designs. The rate shall include making good the damages with cement mortar. Complete as per drawings, specifications and to the entire satisfaction of Architech and E-in-C.

Providing and fixing wall panelling upto ceiling height with 40mmx40mm kail wood frame at 2'-0" c/c in both directions, finished with 11 mm commercial ply/MDF & 1.0mm laminate in two or more colour The Costing shall include the making of grooves of 3mmx3mm as per design in the panelling.. Panelling to have 50x35mm cedar wood moulding on top edge. Panelling finished in melamine polish complete with 100mm x 12mm skirting. Complete as per drawings, specifications and to the entire satisfaction of Architech and E-in-C. .

Providing and fixing 12mm thick toughned glass Frameless patch fixed glazing (profile to be paid extra) complete in all respects as duly E in c.

Framing: Proprietary anodized aluminum profile using 25x35mm thick sections on all three/ four sides using appropriate verticals profile at the solid partition junction and horizontals at top & at botom with snap on options for installing glass as per manufacture specifications/standard range/available size including wedges and required accessories as per details and manufacturer specifications. Dorma/ozone or equivalent imported make.

Providing and fixing lockable frameless glass doors (Size as per drawing) with 12mm thick toughened glass with fittings and floor spring of DORMA /OZONE make including cost of Stainless Steel (SS) handles 600mm long and with locking system/arrengment etc. Complete as per drawings,

Providing and fixing glass film of 3m/Birla or equivalant approved 0.5 micron thickness make and shadeas per design on glazed partitions and toughened glass. Complete as per drawings , specifications and to the entire satisfaction of Architect and E-in- C.

Providing and fixing partitions from floor level to ceiling level and low height with frame work of kail wood of size 50 x 50mm at spacing 600mm c/c with 11mm thick commercial plywood/MDF including 3mmx3mm grooves as per design, finished with 1mm thick laminate on both sides. Partitions to have 100mm x 12mm thick wooden skirting, coating of anti termite paint, partition to have 50mm x 35 mm cedarwood moulding on top edge , finished in melamine polish . Complete as per drawings , specifications and to the entire satisfaction of Architect and E-in- C.

ACOUSTIC INSULATION Providing & fixing Acoustic insulation to G.I./Wooden frame partition of 50mm thick Glass Wool of approved make of density 24kg/m³ blanket wrapped in RP tissue suitably affixed to partition framework using where necessary GI binding wire, duct tape as indicated in the drawing.

Providing and fixing of 19-20 mm th. engineerded stone (Augusto/Amelia) on columns/walls to be fixed over 10mm th. Bison Board/E board of everest make with adhesive and providing and fixing 1"x1" M.S. Angle framework etc as shown in drawings complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.Basic rate of stone upto Rs.520/- per sqft

Providing & fixing trap doors in ceiling made of 12mm thick commercial plywood panels placed inside Aluminum channel frame work which is fixed to ceiling framing on all sides and hanged from RCC slabs with GI flats/wires which are fixed with dash fastners, panel to be cladded with 1.00mm thick white approved laminate matching paint i/c painting inner side, providing cup board locks 2 nos. in each shutters of size 75mm complete as per design & drawing & instructions of Architects.

Providing & fixing 35mm thick solid flush door shutters with block board core as per I.S. No. 1659‐1969 bounded with water proof type phenol fromaldehyde synthetic resin hot pressed, Conforming to I.S 2202 part I and II fixed in position, including iron hinges, screws, godrej locks, door closer, handle stoper, cleats and 1 mm Laminate on both sides & polish on chowkat of matching color etc. (excluding the cost of any fittings other than specified, but including labour for fixing the same in position decorative veneering with vertical grains cross bands and face veneer on both sides teak facing and edges lipped with commercial hard wood with laminated core including cost of hardwood chowkat as specified in the drawing and as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and fixing 3mm thick Aluminum composite paneling (ACP) of required shade i.e. silver/blue/off white for false celling, on walls /columns/pillars etc. over 1.5 inch x 1 inch Alum. tube including section tube for celling, including 6mm thic grovving after every 2 ft. wide panel and filling the groves with silicon. Including cutting for fency lights complete as per drawings , specifications and to the entire satisfaction of Architect and E-in- C.

Providing and fixing of 12 mm thick glass shelves on wall panneling finished with 4 mm thick mirror clading and making grooves in ply to hold as per the architectural drawings complete in all respect .

RAILING Providing and fixing 16gauge stainless steel pipe railing of grade 304 duly fixed on step with the help of bolts grouted on step with hand rail and newel post of 50mm dia Stainless steel pipe, Balusters of 40mm dia Stainless steel pipe complete in all respects.

PAINT Finishing walls with textured exterior paint of required color and shade of approved make with two coats applied @ 3.28 litre/10sqm over and including base coat of water proofing Cement Paint applied @ 2.20 Kg/10 sqm Complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Supplying and fixing of manually operated Zebra Blinds to the following specifications:

The top shall be supported on 75mm Peg mounted over side storage unit at one end and fixed pedestal unit at another end.

A) The table shall be clad with 9mm thick modesty panel which provide structural support for the table having round profile in middle section and linear on both left and right with appropriate PVC edge banding connected with both end on side unit and fixed drawer with 25mm round spacer. The table shall have side unit for storage purpose with an overall size 1800mm X 500mm X 640mm. It should be made up of Pre-laminated particle board of grade II of IS 12823 with top 25mm thick and other parts 18mm thick like shutter, back, facia, side panel etc. It shall have 2 drawer and 1 shutter. The drawer shall be operated with SS handle and easily close & open with the assistance of roller channel to enable smooth operation. General Notes:- 1 . Item wise rates shall be quoted by the tenderers based on the specifications mentioned in the DNIT/Scope of work/ latest edition of the Punjab P.W.D. specifications supplemented with relevant I.S. code including subsequent Addenda and Corrigenda issued from time to time . 2. In case of works below ground level like basement of buildings and public health works such as sewers, disposal works etc, the rates upto a depth of 4 metres below ground level, shall be the same as for work in 2nd storey. For depths greater than 4 metres, additional rates for subsequent storeys shall be added. For works which are not deeper than 1.5 metres from ground level, ordinary rates for works in foundation and plinth shall apply. 3. Measurement of centering and steel shuttering work where not included in the complete rate of concrete work shall be taken of the actual surface of steel shuttering in contact with the concrete surface.

All items are inclusive of cost of curing wherever required and protecting in bad whether conditions. 6.
