PART-I DG SET M&L for Maintenance and servicing of standby DG Set complete including draining out of diesel from tank , cleaning the tank thoroughly and refilling the drained out diesel, draining out engine oil from the sump, cleaning the sump thoroughly and refilling the sump with new engine oil to it’s required level, replacing the fuel filter, lubricating oil filter , checking & cleaning air cleaner , changing air cleaner elements, checking coolant level & make up the same ,drain the fuel filter & water separator, filling the starting batteries with electrolyte/distilled water to maintain the required specific gravity, replacing the unserviceable brass connectors for batteries, cleaning of battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery terminal posts & brass connectors, including M & L for V Belts, checking of exhaust leakage, governor, breathers etc, adjust/set the same for proper functioning of DG Set, checking of fuel, oil and water coolant level etc, adjusting and keeping the fan belts to the desired tension, tightening all the bolts and nuts to the required torque etc, cleaning the DG Set with accessories as prescribed by the manufacturer and test for satisfactory running of DG set for two hour at connected load and record shall be made in respect of RPM , oil pressure , oil temperature , coolant temperature, voltage , frequency , load current , battery charging , fuel consumption etc complete all as specified and directed for 18.5 KVA D G set Make Ruston. Note :- (a). Engine oil for refilling shall be measured and paid Separately (b). Coolant for make up shall be measured & paid separately (c). Testing will be carried out in presence of Engineer - in - charge and DHPP consumption shall be entered in PRRB. (d). The Make of Fuel filter , Oil Filter , V belt & component will be as per manufactures recommendations ( rate of fuel filter, oil filter, air filter and V belt inclusive in quoted rate.) (e). The first service of all newly installed DG sets (Make:- Greaves) must have to be carried out through authorised agency/manufacturer representative only as per OEM recommendations.

Repairs & Overhauling of radiator assembly by dismantling from engine transporting to the workshop and removing the sediments and scales, corrosion etc by means of acid, cleaning and high pressure water washing and air cleaning, gas welding / soldering with good quality material for stopping the leakage etc, re-assembling the same with new gaskets and transporting to the site, fixing to the engine with hoses, clips complete to the entire satisfaction of engineer - in - charge as required for following DG Sets.

Dismantling asbestos rope from silencer of DG set and supply & fix asbestos rope (8/10mm thick) around silencers complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surface of DG Set complete (DG Set cap 18.5KVA to 30 KVA) with fuel tank by scrapping / removing old paint / dust etc and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (colour & tint as approved) over a coat of primer including caliberatation of capacity and marking/writing as follows:- (a) Tank capacity (b) Tank cleaned on (c) Due date.

Description all as per item No 27 but for DG Set cap 40 KVA to 62.5/63 KVA.

Disconnecting and taking out carefully unserviceable alternator, transformer and old pattern AVR of any make and any capacity of DG Sets , dismantling and strip opening of alternator for servicing, taking out and removing old burnt out winding and rewinding of alternator with existing gauge super enameled copper wire (Make: Finolex/Atlas / Devi Dayal) as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge with insulating material such as lumineous paper, latherized paper, cotton tape, glass sleeves insulating Varnish etc , reassembling and fixing the same in position and testing alternator assembly all as specified and directed.

Taking out following defective parts from Alternator of DG sets and supply and fixing new parts including testing complete all as specified and directed :-

Description all as per Item No. 37 above but 12 Volts 150/100 AH, 17 Plate battery.

S & F brass terminal for batteries all as directed including taking out and removing existing unserviceable terminals complete all as specified and directed.

PART-II AMF PANEL Maintrenance & Servicing of AMF panel of any description and in any position, of 30 KVA to 63 KVA capacity DG set & opening of AMF Panel, checking AC/DC circuits, Tightning of all Power / control wiring connection and replacement of unserviceable control wiring with 1.5 Sqmm, single core, copper conductor, flexible, PVC insulated, unsheathed cable suitable upto 1100 volts confirming to IS-694, taking out, removing and replacement of unserviceable parts / spares / items, reassembling the panel & fixing the same in position and testing the AMF panel on full load after completion of repairs complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The quoted rates of the contractor are deemed to include for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch `A’ as `supply only ‘ but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers/lugs/gaskets etc , Removing of defective MCCB from AMF Panel & replacement of MCCB is not included in this item

Material & labour for sand filling with clean dry find sand unwashed including gently punning around cables in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed NOTE:- For measurement purpose punned thickness shall be considered as per clause 19.75 of SSR Part-I

Preparation of the old decorated existing external and internal steel surfaces of feeder pillar boxes/panels/ boards of any description and in any position including removal of disintegrated & deteriorated paint either by hand scrapping or by blow lamps, applying necessary filler coat and stopping as required and applying two coats of synthetic enameled paint (grey in color) over a coat of red oxide primer with using spray machine on old prepared surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Note : Rates quoted by the contractor are deemed to include for writing the MES /SM No and other relevant details with paint in the pattern and style as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge
