Taking down old unserviceable MS/DI pipe line, upto 400 mm bore form exsting trench and disconnected from exsting mains complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing MS (ERW) pipe, heavy duty, including specials, nominal dia 150 mm bore as per IS 3589 (1981), thickness of pipe 4.8 mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing, testing MS(ERW) pipe, Heavy duty, of size 400 mm nominal bore, 6 mm thick, confirming to IS - 3589 including connecting with exstning water mains complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing welded flanges on ends of MS pipe of size 400mm bore, flange not less than 15mm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of DI Pipe of 400mm sizes, with spigot and socketed ends centrifugally cast Class K-7, Push on joint, confirming to IS 8329, laid in trenches with and including rubber tyton joints with exsting water mains complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of MJ collar/ DI joint of 400mm sizes complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for MS works of any sizes of angles irons/flat iron/MS sheet works for making grills complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth for pipe line, etc in soft/ loose soil, getting out and levelling of bottom surface to required level complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per srl item No. 8 here-in-before but additional 1.5m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.5 m

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc 50 m and depositing where directed not exc 1.5 meters above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for CI/DI fittings for spigot/socket pipes such as bends of any radious and angle, collars, tapers, tail pieces, Tee pieces, caps and plugs suitable for above 150 mm bore dia complete all as specified and directed.

Labour for cutting of existing CI / DI pipe for insertion of CI specials /valves etc. complete including dewatering of lekage water of 400 mm size complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for HDPE Pipe of 450 mm nominal dia of 28.3 mm minimum wal thickness of grade PE 80 for protection of MS /DI water mains complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for excavation in any type of soil through trenchless technology by HDD (Horizontal directional drilling method) including preparing and setting up the plant and equipment .Preparing new pipe work material including all related civil work and mechanical work like excavation, shoring/strutting etc drilling, stringing, reaming and pulling back the new pipe work on the path alignment proper disposal of drilling fluid and ground penetrating radar survey to protect any exiting utilities at the pipe installation location restoration of site agter completion all inclusive as per and STT IS No.2.3.2.2.2.2. second edition 2008 code of pactice for trenchless technology suiting Indian condition for making horizontal bore of size 500mm dia suitable for HDPE pipe 400 mm , insertion under road crossing /hard standing for protection of MS line by manually or any means complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) MS Pipe/DI and HDPE pipe will be measured and paid for seprately under respective items.(b) Permission if required from civil authrority/department prior to executing the work is the responsibility of contractor and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor.
