REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF TRANSFORMERS, VOLTAGE STABILIZER, EARTHING, PAINTING WORKS, UG CABLES BUS BARS, PANELS AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT SUNDERBANI UNDER GE (NORTH) AKHNOOR

Taking down carefully following capacity transformer from four pole and two pole structure, platform by disconnecting all the electrical connection and transporting the same to authorised workshop including draining out of the transformer oil in clean barrels, opening the top cover, taking out of the defective/burnt out HT/LT coils out of the tank for repair, insulation testing of the transformer winding ,refilling the transformer oil after checking proper dielectric strength, refitting the top cover and other accessories including painting of the transformer with approved colour with synthetic enamel paint, all as specified and directed and transporting the transformer back on original place for installation and securing properly on four/two pole/platform and making all HT/LT connection to the complete satisfaction of Engr-in-charge all as specified and directed for the following:- (a) 25 KVA to 150 KVA

Note for Srl Item No 1, 2 & 3 :- (a) The rates are inclusive of transportation of transformer from site of installation to authorised workshop and back including T&P required for loading/ unloading and all the HT/LT winding shall be measured and paid separetly. (b) Standby transformer shall be arranged by contractor at their own cost to avoid failure of supply on site and the capacity of transformer should be matched with repaired transformer.Penalty charges @1000/day shall be deducted on failure of arrangement of standby transformer. (c) Contractor has to submit the list of authorized workshops for full satisfaction of Engr-in charge and final binding shall remain with the Engr -in-charge.

Ditto all as per Srl item No 01 here-in-above but exceeding 150 KVA and upto 300 KVA

Replacement of burnt defective LT copper coil of transformer with new one made out of suitable size/guage of copper super enameled wire of high quality matching with the existing impedence and insulation all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge suitable for following capacity:-.:- (a) 25 KVA to 150 KVA Note :-For srl item No 3 & 4 The cost of coil shall be inclusive of cost of varnish insulating paper and other insulating materials and no extra payment will be made for the same.

Ditto all as per Srl item No 3 above but exceeding 150 KVA and upto 300 KVA.

Filtration, heating and dehydration of transformer oil on site by using filteration machine and EHV grade having dielectric strength not less than 55 KV with 2mm gap inluding removal of all moisture,dirt/girth all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:-Filtration, heating and dehydration of transformer oil shall be carried out on site and rate quoted by contractor shall deemed to include for arrangement of filtration machine and its transportation to various locations of installation of transformer and topping of oil.

Construction in replacement of transformer platform size 3mx2mx1m from ground and 0.5 mtr below ground level with brick construction in wall and steps, XPM fencing upto 1.5 mtr height with angle iron post 50 x50x6mm including gate with locking arrangement min weight 60 Kgs, 100mm PCC 1:5:10 type E-2 in foundation, 0.23 mtr thick brick work in CM 1:4, 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 to walls, 50 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in flooring over 100 mm thick sub base in PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) laid over rammed earth, 40 mm thick PCC on steps, painting to fencing with two coats of synthetic enemled paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

HT bushing assembly with brass nut, stud, washers and insulators suitable for outdoor type transformer capacity of 25KVA to 500KVA, complete all as specified and directed.

LT bushing assembly with brass nut, stud, washers and insulators suitable for outdoor type transformer capacity of 25KVA to 500KVA, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and filling Transformer oil of dielectric strength not less than 40KV with 4mm gap of discharge 2 sec for topping up of transformer complete all as specified and directed.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick buried directely in ground vertically ( earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metres below ground level, connected to and including galvanised strip 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron and light grade protection pipe of 40 mm dia from earth electrode up to test point or up to 7.5mtr whichever is less by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers all as per electrical plate No 3 of SSR Pt-I and GI watering pipe of 20 mm dia medium grade,GI funnel with wire mesh, including charcoal, salt packed all around the earth electrode plate in layers, PCC earth pit chamber 1:3:6 type C1, of size 45cm x 45cm x 45 cm,RCC cover 1:2:4 type B1 of size 45x45x6 cm, excavation/earth work in any strata and returning filling, removal of surplus soil and testing/test point for required value including removing old item complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- The required resistance of Earthing shall be less than 3 ohm, If not found to the required resisstance, the contractor has to re earthing for required resistance and the cost for the same included in the quoted rate and no extra shall be paid on failure of getting required resistance.

Disconnecting input/output supply from voltage stabilizer any type oil/air cooled and dismantling the same for repair checking/testing all component complete repairing for efficient functioning checking/tightening of all connections resetting/recalibration of all PCB’s ,servo motors, voltmeter, cleaning of tapping, joints of dimmer stat including replacement of minor parts like screws bolts gear of servo motor carbon brushes button and other minor parts etc all as directed for following capacity of stabilizer: -

Taking down or out existing cable of sizes 3.5 core 95 sqmm to 2400 sqmm from the trenches / ducts/ along walls / poles / through poles / under roads/ inside sub station including segregation the serviceable cable by cutting down defective portion after testing by meggar (insulation tester ), stacking and removing unserviceable cable for further disposal complete all as specified and as directed.

Laying only serviceable cable obtained from taking out in same or new location of size 2/3.5/4 core 06 to 70 sqmm in trenches / ducts/ along walls / poles /under roads etc. including necessary cable lugs, gland etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Earth work , bricks , sand Lugs and glands will be measured and paid seperately under respective items.

Laying only serviceable cable obtained from taking out in same or new location of size 3.5 core 95 to 240 sqmm in trenches / ducts/ along walls / poles /under roads etc. including necessary cable lugs, gland etc complete all as specified and as directed. Restringing of over head line ACSR conductor of any size and upto 5 wires in a span with GI earth wire of 4 mm dia of span length 30 to 60 m to permissiable sag incl PVC line spacer ,winding with Aluminium conductor and triming of branches of tree beside the span complete all as directed. Note:- Cost for Line spacer in between span shall be included in quoted rates.

M&L for fixing in replacement of ACSR conductor any size drawn straight horizontal on over head lines on existing poles including binding with insulators. Weight of conductor shall be measured straight horizontal distance between centre to centre of two adjacent poles and calculating weight of conductor of size and length by adding 3% extra for sag, jointing jumpers, etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down unsv PCC poles and M&L for steel tubular swaged pole type 410 SP-31 (9 metre long) with 300 mmx300mmx6mm mild steel base plate continuously welded to pole, finial taper, nut, bolts and screws all as specified including factory painted with two coats of black bituminous paint internally through out and externally for embedded portion and applying one coat of red oxide primer for the remaining portion and two coats of aluminium paint beyond 1.5M from ground level/coping and making 30cm black and white strips with two coats of super enameled paint up to 1.5M from ground level/coping, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in tranches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep for foundation of laying cable including getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specifed.

Removing surplus soil to distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Brick protection to cable with one layer of sub class 'B' brick, old size,brick covering laid dry, flat, tranversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning with equal to the length of brick, complete all as specified and directed.

Sand cushioning to under ground electric cables including watering and consolidation all as per clause 19.75 of SSR Part-I, complete all as specified and directed.

PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in pole coping including necessary form work, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of shackle type insulators, porcelain, vitreous, brown or green insulator including galvanised mild steel straps, washers, insulators, bolts, washers and nuts, working pressure 1100 votls and size of 100 in height and 115 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Suplying and fixing in replacement of Pin type, porcelin, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator, size 100 mm height, 65 mm dia for 1100 volts grade, conforming to IS: 7321-1931, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

PVC Spacer 2/4/5 way for LT over head line 1100 V complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down old/burnt cable of any size and Supply and fixing Aerial bunched cable (AB) LT of size 3 core- x16 sqmm+1-core x 16 sqmm+ 1x25 sqmm for street lights .The 16 sq.mm. phase conductor shall be of aluminium solid round; outer diameter shall be within the limits.• The phase conductor shall be insulated with black weather resistant high-density polyethylene (HDPE) suitable to 1100 V insulation. The insulated conductors shall generally conform to the relevant standards.• Conductors: The properties of the aluminium wires before stranding shall be:• Tensile strength not less than 90 N/Sq.mm.• Resistivity at 20 Deg. C not exceeding 0.02845ohm / Sq.mm / m(V) and one bare messenger wire shall be stranded non compacted circular aluminium alloy conductor .all as specified and directed. Supply, fabrication and fixing feeder pillar box of size 500x450x500mm made out of MS Sheet of 2.00mm thick bent to shape & size factory made with welding, bending works suitable for and including 200Amps rated aluminium bus bars (length of bus bar not less than 40cm) 4No's making of holes of any size and mounted on porcelain/epoxy based post insulators of appropriate size with suitable size 40x40x5mm and length of angle iron not less than 1 mtr, 0.5 mtr to be embeded in PCC below G.L and 0.5 mtr above ground including painting of complete structure with two coats of super enamelled synthetic paint over a coat of red oxide and incoming/out going cable connections with required size of cable lugs with proper crimping.
