SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I [ E/M WORKS]

Supply, install, test and commissioning of accoustic proof AMF type diesel engine driven generating set fully wired, 415V, +5%, AC 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz having capacity 100 KVA continous rating power factor 0.8 (lagging), connecting as per IE rules and mouted on a common base plate with anti vibration pad including necessary four wheel trally as recommended by the manufacturer all as specified and directed. The DG set shall comprise of following :- . The diesel engine will comprise of following:- (A) Diesel Engine - The engine should be six cylinder,liquid cooled, turbocharged with after cooler, developing 159 HP @ 1500 RPM. 6SL1500TA G3 is inline, electric start, compression ignition, 4 stroke, designed to run continuously at 1500 RPM confirming to IS 10002, ISO-3046, BS 5514 strandard. Diesel Engine will comply with present CPCB -II norms Make - CUMMINS / KIRLOSKAR/ CROMPTON GREAVES.

ITEM NO. 02 Con… (C) Electric system : The electric system of the starter motor and charging alternator shall have the following components:- (i) Charging alternator 12V, DC (ii) Voltage regulator built in type IC regulated (iii) Starter motor 12 volts DC (iv) Battery 12 volts DC and capacity 120 AH 02 nos with one set of connecting leads of 70 Sqmm size copper cable. (D) Fuel tank (Service tank) : The fuel tank shall be mild steel suitable to hold 290 ltrs capacity and shall be inlducing fuel level indicator duly marked to read 25%, 50%, 75%,100% per division fuel line from tank to engine arrangement for fuel filling fuel and digital display and drain out facility etc. compelte all as specified.

(D) Fuel tank (Service tank) : The fuel tank shall be mild steel suitable to hold 400 ltrs capacity and shall be inlducing fuel level indicator duly marked to read 25%, 50%, 75%,100% per division fuel line from tank to engine arrangement for fuel filling fuel and digital display and drain out facility etc. compelte all as specified.

Note for ITEM NO.02 to 05:- a) Design and drawings of the DG set shall be prepared as recommended by the OEM & compile as per Sch A. The same shall be got approved from GE before commencement the work and the rate quoted is deemed to include for the same. (b) Comissioning of the DG will be done by OEM service and at the time of comissioning minimun 25 % fuel to be present in tank for testing purpose and cost of same to be included in the quoted unit rate. (c) Design and drawings of the foundation shall be prepared as recommended by the OEM and be got approved from GE before commencement the work and the rate quoted is deemed to include for the same. (d) 05 sets of design and drawings to be submitted along with a copy to the Accepting Officer after obtaining the approval of GE. (e) Amount of foundation to be included in the quoted unit rate, No extra payment will be paid to contractor in this regard.

Disconnecting the existing DG sets from its all electrical connections (including control panel connection) and removing the DG set 100 KVA capacity from its foundations ,shifting the DG set safely from the following locations and hand over to MES stores complete all as specified and as directed

Disconnecting the existing DG sets from its all electrical connections (including control panel connection) and removing the DG set 200 KVA capacity from its foundations ,shifting the DG set safely from the following locations and hand over to MES stores complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour for Earthing complete with using copper earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 3.15 mm thick buried directly underground vertically (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate at a depth not less than 1.5m below ground level connected with and incl copper strip 20x3 mm including 40 mm dia GI pipe light grade by means of nuts bolts, washers and copper earth strip protected by GI pipe light gradev 40 mm bore up to 7.5 mtr and connecting to AVR/VCB's/trasnsformer etc, as per site requirement necessary earth work in any type of soil PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber and RCC(1:2:4)type B-1cover and watering pipe 20 mm dia medium grade with funnel complete with mesh , refiling with soil all as specified. Note for Earthing work :- Quoted rate deemend to include necessary earth work PCC chamber, RCC cover, reinforcement removal of surplus soil , site clearance etc. (ii) Copper earth strip , GI Pipe 40 mm light grade 7.5 mtr and GI Pipe 20 mm medium grade 1.50 mtr deemed to be included the rate quoted by the contractor.(iii) Beyond 7.5 M the copper earth strip & GI pipe light grade 40 mm dia shall be measured and paid separetely under the respective item of the schedule (iv) Quotated rate include testing after completion from test point and the desired earth resistance shall be not more than 2 ohm .If the desired result is not obtained the earthing will be re done by the contractor at no extra cost.
