ARBORICULTURE

S & F RCC tree guard of size (1800X500X37 mm -04 pnnels) with 5 mm dia reinforced bar all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

NOTE: For Ser ltem No 23.03 to 23.10 (i) Height of plant shall be measured from top of foliage (not from the isolated branch/leaf, main stem) to 150mm from top of root. (i) Water will not be supplied by MES. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for watering to plants. (i) The rates quoted by the contractor deemed to be included for watering, maintenance of plants till two years after certified date of completion of work. (iv). During two years after completion of the work if any plant is found dead, or not of satisfactory growth, plants of approved size and shape shall be provided without any extra cost. (v). Supply and application of manure, sweet earth and pesticides, fertilizers, etc up to two years after completion are deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate. (vi) Tenderer to note that 10% of quoted amount against these items shall be retained for two years after completion. In case of failure by the contactor to maintain the plants as above, the same shall be carried out by the department at contractor's Risk and Cost and the expenditure shall be deducted from this retained amount.
