REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF DG SET UNDER MODERNISED COD AREA, AMC OF CAPSULE LIFT, DG SET INSTALLED UNDER ZONE B UNDER GE (EAST) JABALPUR

Comprehensive maintenance of DG set including routine/preventive/breakdown maintenance,upkeeps,servicing of DG set with its alternators,associated AMF Pannel,auto guard,Relay ,Batteries,oil tanks,cooling system, control Panel and LT incoming and outgoing cables and checks at least once in a month, checking up of engine and alternator for trouble free functioning and attending break downs/complaints as and when required. The type of work / maintenance services to be carried out during comprehensive maintenance are as under :- (a) Checking of Engine Oil level. (b) Checking of oil bath cleaner oil level. (c) Drain sediments from fuel tank. (d) Checking of pre- cleaner dust pan. (e) Checking of air cleaner restriction. (f) Checking of coolant level. (g) Record Oil pressure (h) Checking/tightening of all nuts/bolts of engine and alternator. (j) Checking of AVM pads.

(k) Checking of diaphragm coupling (l) Checking of tappet clearance (m) Clean fuel tank breather (n) Clean crank case breather (o) Checking of Air piping. (p) Cleaning of oil bath Air cleaner Tray screen. (q) Check / adjust Belts. (r) Checking battery voltage, water level and apply jelly on terminals. (s) Checking fan hub/air blower hub and water pump. (t) Cleaning turbo charger. (u) Tighten manifold nuts of cops screws. (v) Cleaning of electrical connections with CTC solution. (w) Checking of safety controls (x) Cleaning of cooling system/radiator assembly (y) Cleaning of Engine and radiator assembly (z) Checking of Engine Oil Level. Notes : - (i)The comprehensive maintenance includes carrying out preventive maintenance excluding replacement of the unserviceable / worn out spares to keep the DG set for trouble free functioning. (ii) The rate quoted against this item is deemed to include for all the minor spares such as screws, clips washers , distilled water, electrolyte etc and other spare parts shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items. (iii) Make and Specification of spare parts of DG Sets shall be as per existing make/specification. (iv) Service and spare parts should be procured/provided from authorised manufacturer/OEM as per Manufacturer O & M recommendation & guide lines.

Providing aluminium cladding to the exhaust pipe and silencer of the DG sets of any capacity by engaging highly skilled technicians after removing the existing totally worn out asbestos rope ( wherever available) and preparing the surface , applying one coat of red oxide primer and including 50mm thick high quality glass wool thermal insulator packing which is bound tightly with chicken wiremesh of approved quality to the exhaust pipe and neatly finishing sealing with 24 SWG aluminium sheet complete all as specified and directed.

Maintenance and servicing of Passenger lift installed at COD complete with preventive and breakdown maintenance including overhauling/rectification/servicing of Control Panel, Control wiring of all stations, checking of Hoisting system, condition monitoring of all lift component like wire rope, mounting lugs, guide wheels, guide structure, capsul structure and bottom base, control switch, greasing etc complete all as specifed and directed by Engr-in-charge. (a) Contractor shall ensure smooth operation/functioning of lift. (b) Maintenance of lift shall be carried out strictly as per guidelines of OEM of lift.
